@bcc on mobile too lazy to quote..but I hear ya

I do not trust Brock Purdy yet in a big game against someone like Patrick Mahomes.

This is the first time I wanted BCT to have a down vote option. Smiley

Wander in to P&S and I bet you’ll increase that number 10-fold, especially reading one forum member’s post in particular (hint, it’s not good..it’s bad  Cheesy ).

@bbc Brock Purdy wouldn’t face Mahomes. He faces the Chiefs defense. To boot, Mahomes has not been Mahomes really this year, esp of late. Kelce looks hurt (rumors he’s hanging it up after this year) and the KC receivers are absolute shit (Rice is okay).  The Niners are a much much better team all around. Defense obviously much better and Purdy has 100x the weapons Mahomes has. My money would be all over SF in a matchup between these two.

P&S ?

I was just busting bbc's balls, yeah There are tons of posts on this forum I would break the mouse button downvoting! Cheesy

Looks like 3 of us have locked up a playoff spot!

I think you might be the only one with a chance to knock SM out of contention, GL.

Politics and Society ..picking up what I’m putting down here now? lol.  Also, agreed. I would apply to be a de-merit source in a heartbeat  Cheesy.

Well I’ve made a decent run towards the finish line but prob not gunna make it in. Has been a fun year anyhow and I won’t finish last like last year so there’s that !

@ChiBitCTy, @DireWolfM14. I agree on both your points. I was only thinking if it was the 49ers vs. the Chiefs were in the superbowl, the biggest game of the season, and the spread was -1. I reckon for my money I would trust Mahomes more than Purdy. Brock Purdy has showed that he is a good quarterback, however, for the experience and the clutch element in these big games, there is Patrick Mahomes.

If it makes you feel any better the NFC is looking way tougher than the AFC this season, but on the bright side if the 49ers can make it to the SB I would put them as the clear favorites to win it regardless of which team got to win the AFC championship.

I would not make that assumption. That is very much similar to what I assumed with the Bills for 2 straight years and I also had Josh Allen as the MVP during those years hehe. The 49ers might have gotten their revenge against the Eagles, however, this might only be showing the Eagles weaknesses than the 49ers strengths. Yes I might be wrong. Howeve, I do not trust Brock Purdy yet in a big game against someone like Patrick Mahomes.
To each their own so I have no problem if your opinion differs, however my assumption is not only based on the performance on the field, which at least to my eyes seems to be way better for the NFC teams this year, this is also about the overall health of the teams, on the AFC 4 out of the 7 teams currently on the playoffs are playing with their backup QB, and the Browns are playing with their 4th QB, while on the NFC only the Vikings are playing with a backup QB.

When it comes to Josh Allen there is no doubt he is extremely talented, but when I see him playing he seems like a more gifted but more erratic Brett Favre, he has a better arm, legs and can do some extraordinary things on the field, but he makes too many boneheaded mistakes that make you wonder, what was Allen thinking when making that throw?

Finally I would give Purdy some slack, when compared to Mahomes every QB currently playing comes up short, but Mahomes does not really have the weapons he needs to compete, although not as bad this reminds me of the last season of Brady with NE, cannot believe he won 12 games with that team, and while he is doing his best, KC WRs are dropping the ball the most on the entire NFL and I can only assume this trend will get worse on the playoffs when facing better teams, worst weather and the stakes are as high as they can be.

Lol

I don't have the same concern, he's not Jimmy Garoppolo.  So far the only playoff game he's lost was due to tearing a ligament in his elbow.

Obviously the QB has a huge impact on the game, but the more telling thing is that the niners are the currently the most balanced team in football, second in most points scored and first in least points allowed.  They are over 40 points ahead of the next team in terms of net points.  That gives me confidence going into the playoffs, but there's still lots of football to play.

Poor iggles, getting a bit sad to watch

 Grin

No sadness in these here parts.

Well, TBH I'm not too sad either, what with Deebo hauling in all those TDs.

This is the year for niners, right? Smiley

If they can stay healthy it has to be, everyone looking so god damn primed. Should be an incredibly stacked playoffs regardless - exciting  Grin

Why am I the one whom ALWAYS has the most injuries in fantasy football. I swear to god every single year I lose key players more so than anyone else. Rhamondre Stevenson looks hurt badly. Prob season ender. I swear to god man smh. Dude had 7pts in the first quarter and was primed for a huge day.

What is everyone's assessment on the Bengals vs. the Jaguars? I am very much aware that the Bengals are nothing without Joe Burrow, however, can the Jaguars win against the spread with 9.5 in this game? Bengals +9 might cover, I reckon.

Also, the Lions -4.5? This might be a good opportunity to for them to come back and win after their loss against the Packers.

I think they could definitely cover this spread. Jacksonville has been playing well lately and could def see them beating that spread.

Yeah you've had a pretty bad run but this year seems like it has been bad all the way around.  I got screwd pretty hard in all my leagues this year.  Don't think a top 2 pick in any of my leagues has made it out unscathed.  Next year I'm switching up my draft a little.  Just gonna draft an entire teams full set of running backs or wide receivers lol.

But yeah, what an UGLY game last night.  Both offenses looked horrid.  Also sucks as a Bears fan being that it was a meaningless game, all that win did was put us in position for a worse draft pick next year.
As a fan what you say makes sense, but I get the feeling that everyone on the Bears is either playing or coaching for their jobs so they care nothing at the moment about draft picks, without a doubt Eberflus is a goner at the end of the season, but what to do with Justin Fields? The kid has massive talent but it does not translate into wins, if the Bears get the first overall pick on the next draft it could make sense to take their chances with a rookie QB and trade Fields to another team.

Another bad news for the Bears was the Panthers firing Frank Reich, I am sure that if the Panthers owned their first round pick they would have left Reich finish the season and tank discretely, but since that pick now belongs to the Bears they have no intention to keep losing without at least trying to get the best out of Bryce Young.

And the ones benefiting from all of this are the Patriots and the Cardinals, after I took a look at their schedules the easiest by far is the one belonging to the Panthers and they could get a win or two, while both the Patriots and the Cardinals have way more difficult matches ahead and it would not surprise me if both teams did not win a single one of their remaining games.

Congrats on the win in our match, it ended up being closer than I thought but you pulled a great win especially with all the injuries your players have suffered.

next week they are playing against the lousy manager of the Cows.

Next week is the B-team week, as in "bye bye" playoffs because half of my team is on vacation... unless cows got it worse, which I haven't looked at but kinda doubt it.

Edit: LOL I take it back, you got 4 byes too. Welp this gonna be fun. And you picked up Diontae. Good thing I didn't drop McBride... Wink
Just noticed this, not only I have 4 players in a BYE, all of them are starters, 2 WR, TE and a K.

LOL, I am about to get rekt.  Embarrassed

Yeah of course the players and coaches are trying to win.  But from an organizational standpoint, as well as for the fans..it was a horrible win.  Fields does have a ton of talent, and with the right coaches I belive he can be a solid player, but I'm just not sure he's the franchise QB we hoped he would be. You're righ though, if we do get one of the top two QBs being dicussed so heavily, then Fields should definitely have some decent trade value.

Definitely a tight game between us last week.  Was a fun one!

For the Coiners to clinch they'll need two wins, or one win and one loss for all the 6-6 teams.

Even if Coiners manage to hang on to 4th place they'll get crushed in the first playoff game by Mo's freight train.
<...>

That'd make for a great revenge game since Potatoes lost to Coiners earlier in the season.

I can't believe my team survived over a month without Kyren and JJ.  I'm super thankful for making the playoffs for once, got PointsFor tie-breaked out of the playoffs the first two seasons.

By the way, Coiners are/will be the only team to make the playoffs in all three seasons so far, most consistent player we've got for sure.

*Haha Mo I caught up and passed you!

Say what?  Grin

I've toned down my overall waiver moves/transactions quite a bit this year, from 75 to about 40ish. Lol, 75 does scream desperate...

I do not want to join XFL or USFL fantasy. I want to join a MLB fantasy, however. The season schedule fits with how long we wait hehehe.

I have no desire to get into any other sports but if you really want that then start a thread.

That sounds like a great idea! The MLB fantasy league could be a lot of fun. If you're ready to join, you can start a thread where we can join to play with a lot of fun. Absolutely! I'm excited too. Count me in for the MLB fantasy league.
