I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
The results of the games you mentioned are headshaking except for San Francisco vs. the Jaguars hehehehe. Also, the Bills which lost vs. the Broncos in their home stadium was not very shocking for me. I mentioned this last week and asked if there were injuries on the Bronco's secondary. This Josh Allen appears to have a minor injury, I reckon. This season he does not scramble very much like the seasons when he was speculated to be the next regular season MVP. I speculate that it might be his knee or his ankle.
Josh Allen is dealing with a right shoulder injury, which is his throwing arm, and it seems way more serious than previously reported as he is missing practices, if to this you add he is showing regression, his cap hit is increasing, there seems to be turmoil on the locker room and even the Madden curse could be involved, this help us understand what it may be going on, I also think Allen may have gotten too used to get the big play and move the ball too fast instead of methodically beating his opponents, and recently even Tom Brady made the observation that he is taking too many risks and said Allen should tone it down a little bit.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it

At least Arthur finally gave him a sizable workload, I think he had like 22 carries.  Of course that has to do with the fact that they were up or close to being up the whole game.

Quote
People will do everything but admit it was a mistake to waste an early round pick on a rookie RB that went to a team that uses a committee.

I thought this was hilarious!

Seriously doing deep dives on peoples family because your guy didn't get enough carries is completely over the top!

@everyone. How are the injuries on the Broncos' secondary? I think if they are 100%, Russell Wilson and the Broncos might win +7 against the spread vs. Josh Allen and the Bills. Josh Allen is also not anymore the yearly MVP candidate that we have witnessed for the last 2 seasons, I reckon.

@ChiBitCTy. Where is Justin Fields?

In any case, in the beginning I thought I would win. In the present, I know I will lose again on this week.

He’ll be back next Sunday when they play the Detroit Lions at their house. I think he wanted to play this past Thursday against the Panthers, but for whatever reason they decided to hold him out one more week.

Some decent games tomorrow. Can’t wait to watch the Texans Bengals to see how Stroud follows up that performance from last week.  Niners Jags is one heck of a game I’m really looking forward to. Browns Raves a decent one as well.  Sunday and Monday night games though, yuck.

I still can't get over Cincy losing to the Texans.  I know Stroud is starting to become one heck of a QB, but the Bengals losing to the Texans proves they are pretenders.  Also lost me a good bit of money as I was all over Cincy at -6.  Grrr

Man if I am a Carolina Panthers fan, I'm hating my GM.  I saw Stroud as the #1 pick before the draft and it certainly seems to be playing out in that manner.

I recall that one quote from Frank Reich couple weeks back implying he didn't want Young:

source: https://athlonsports.com/nfl/frank-reich-troubling-admission-panthers-ownership-david-tepper
Quote
"There's different philosophies in ownership," Reich began. "Some owners kinda stay away and don't engage a whole lot, other owners do. [David Tepper's] philosophy is he's going to engage."

It's a bummer to have Stroud on my bench only to cover for Lamar's bye week, like everyone else has noted, kid is having a great season.

Yeah but it's not up to Frank Reich to make that decision.  I'm sure he probably had his say and they took his feelings in to consideration, but it's of course up to the GM..unless the GM is a bit held back from ownership.  Not sure how things run in Carolina to be honest.

What a banger of a game tonight ya'll..my Chicago Bears versus the Carolina Panthers.  Woowee this is going to be horrible lol.  I just actually want the Bears to win for once, a win put's us in better contention for the overall first pick next year.

Stroud absolutely destroyed it yesterday.  I watched almost 3 quarters of the game since the giants were the later game.  That kid looks like the real deal, Houston got themselves a player.  Looks like Carolina picked wrong.  Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a trabisky over mahomes type pick.  Way to early to say but cj is good.
I have not really watched Stroud play but since the Ravens and Seahawks game was basically over in just three quarters I switched channels and watched the last quarter of the Texans and Buccaneers game, and I really liked what I saw, it was not only that he broke the record of Andrew Luck, Stroud had to overcome the injury of his K early on the game and they had to go for two point conversions all game, and with just roughly one minute on the clock he had to make a comeback and he did, showing he can perform under pressure and do well, a very desirable trait on a QB which can make him go from a good QB to an elite one.

Yeah I watched too that was a sick game.  No kicker amd his defense giving up point after point and he just kept coming.  The thing that impressed me not only was his poise knowing he couldn't rely on field goals but the accuracy to his throws was insane. Was dropping picture perfect passes into his relievers hands.  Wish he was a giant..

I need Ekeler to stay quiet tonight, anything less than 35 fantasy points would suffice. He hasn't scored > 30 points in any game this season, nor have the Jets allowed anyone to score 30 or more against them, but you never know...  That's two stressful MNFs in a row. Yay!  Grin
Obviously I need the opposite but I would not worry too much, in fact you had terrible luck as you left Stroud which threw for the most yards for a rookie ever on the bench, and the Ravens destroyed Seattle through their run game and sat Watson for most of the 4th quarter, but even then my team was terrible this week, in fact I only had a 23% chance of winning before our match started and that was with my main squad, and when I saw that I knew this week was going to be terrible for me.

Did you notice that you came extremely close to beating me this week? That Chargers defense killed it and helped a ton of people win that thought they had no idea.  Charger defender stepped out of bounds and nearly had a TD right there at the end of the game that would have put you over the top.  Finally I catch a break lol.

Looks Like I'm facing the  Ayahuasca Brewers this week!

Was hoping to be tied coming into this game but maybe we'll be tied after it! Cheesy

Still reeling through bye weeks and my QB hasn't been preforming the same as he had early in the season.  I'm just about through my bye weeks for my bigger performers, so I'm hoping to get back to form soon.  Yahoo's projections are predicting I'll finish 10-5, but they've been disrespecting me all season.  We'll see how it goes.  Finishing over .500 would be an massive improvement over last year, and I'm only one win away from that.

I decided to look at Yahoo's current projections. I'm not sure why i'm at the top, they expect me to have Jefferson and Kyren Williams back, i can't say i share their optimism. Interestingly, they have 10-5 records to make the playoffs, which seems awfully high. Before the season, i thought 8-7 would be fine, worst-case scenario 9-6, but i guess we are top-heavy this season. Still, plenty of football left to be played and anything can happen.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles will certainly be a very good game! @everyone, what would be your bets for this if you were forced to bet the winner. I reckon the Cowboys should not be underestimated and this is also is this the first time for Dak Prescott vs. Jalen Hurts to play against each other?

The defenses of both of these teams are also very good, however, the Eagles' defense is moderately better. I might put Tony Pollard on the bench hehehee.

Some great games this weekend. Those of you in Europe have a great game with the Chiefs and Dolphins kicking the week off. That's on at 830am here, will be tough for me to get up that early on the weekend (I love sleeping in) but I certainly will for this game.

Banger on Sunday night with the Bills versus the Bengals.  Not sure what bets I'll be placing yet but will be doing a few.
