Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
I just spent the last hour trying to find out what record would be mathematically eliminated in our league and when and came up empty.

*getting dumber by the hour. Smiley

It also appears that I should have listened to @ChiBitCTy and played Derrick Henry instead of Cook. The Giants' defense are having a good performance to begin the game. Josh Allen should give the ball to Cook on every 1st-3rd and goal.

Yeah Henry is a Must start no matter what, I was going to mention that as well and then decided I need to stop helping people get wins against me. Wink

You were playing me, I could have told you exactly what to expect and that is me losing and probably losing by just a little bit (which is what happened, of course lol).  Was a great matchup though bud.

Crazy how many close games you have been getting boned on, hopefully that bad luck will even out in the second half of the season.

Man I had a rough week when it comes to fantasy and betting.  I think I won maybe 1 of my 4 bets, and they were all close games. Especially since I put the most money on last nights game which I was sure that the Chargers would win.  I also lost two fantasy leagues by less than 1 point.  Not 1 league, freaking 2 leagues.  I just have the worst health ever when it comes to fantasy players.

That was a pretty darn close match for you and I this week, going into the week I was certain I would suffer my first loss.  GG, by the way.  I seriously can't believe my luck this year, I was quite disappointed with my draft, and had little hope at the start of the season.  This is by far the best start to a FF season I've had in my life.  I've been lucky on injuries so far, and that's really the biggest factor.

Any chance of Dallas winning?

Yeah, I expect them to come out on top, but he Chargers can be a tough opponent.  Honestly I wouldn't put much money on either team.  I was thinking of putting a small bet on some props but I haven't had time to really look at the options yet.

Even though the game was challenging and close, Micah Parsons' performance was crucial. I was compelled to watch a portion of the game because it had been a long time since I had seen the NFL. Dallas @1.70 odd ended up being a profitable wager. I appreciate your contributions, gentlemen.

Did you finally put something on the game?

New Orleans saints vs Jacksonville - money on New Orleans saints this Friday!!!

I reckon Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars might be underestimated for this game. The Jaguars won versus the Bills in London and they were speculated to lose versus the Colts because they might be tired from travelling back to America from London. However, they won and the Jaguars secondary showed their toughness and strength. I reckon they will try their hardest to win against the Saints and the Steelers before they lose to the 49ers hehehe. They know this already and their roadmap to the post season might be to win the games where they have a chance and save their strength on games where they know that they will lose.

I'm with you, I don't see Jacksonville losing to the Saints.  I just think the saints suck, and Jacksonville is much more talented on both sides of the ball ( at least in my opinion).

The Jags left London, came back to the States and then went back..is that what you're saying? If so, that's crazy.

What a weird gameweek so far.

SF lost to the Browns, Jets beat the Eagles and the Bills doesnt look good against the Giants aswell.
This was also clearly reflected in Fantasy Football... At least in my team. But I'm still happy and until now I'm leading. Everything depends on @South Parks A. Ekeler on MNF.

Can I pull out my 2nd win of the season or goin to be defeated by South Park with his last player remaining?

Agreed.  Shocking how the bills couldn't get ahead of the giants until a couple minutes to go.  As a giants fan just pathetic showing seriously.  Topped with the run play on the 1 yard line with no timeouts.  I was actually laughing because that's just typical giants type plays right there.  Either way...any given sunday!

I reckon both the Bills and the Giants deserved to lose hehehehe. Also on the final play, why did the Giants' quarterback made the decision to throw the ball to a receiver? It was only 1 yard. Giving the ball to the running back might have a higher chance for the touchdown.

However, I am not the football expert hehehe. The coach might have noticed something.

@Igebotz. Yes, Cowboys' Tony Pollard is the best running back in the NFL who will score 25 fantasy points and make me win my week 6 against the Barbarian.

I have my money on Dallas - I don't know much about the NFL,  only making a random pick from football, Tennis and NFL tonight. Any chance of Dallas winning?

I'm in Higgins Hell again, not gonna fall for it again and get the big ass goose egg like twice last year!

Which means he will have a career day on my bench. Cheesy

Week 5's Sunday night football and Monday night football are very exciting games for me hehehe. I have James Cook and Tony Pollard left to play to try and make 35 fantasy points to win against your hairy Barbarian.

It also appears that I should have listened to @ChiBitCTy and played Derrick Henry instead of Cook. The Giants' defense are having a good performance to begin the game. Josh Allen should give the ball to Cook on every 1st-3rd and goal.

Would sign ur actual roster! He would be on my bench too.

Fingers crossed that J. Chase will be his target no.1 again today - I would benefit from that too! Cheesy

Football is great and all, but why can we only bet on the game when it’s clear that all people really care about is how many time the camera is going to show Taylor Swift, how many times the commentators are going to mention Taylor Swift, and when Taylor Swift will be leaving the game? I mean, Taylor Swift…

I was watching the Chiefs vs. the Broncos and on halftime one of the cameras was filming a bookshop which might have been near the stadium. On the the stand near the cashier were books about the NFL and beside these books were the books written by Taylor Swift hehehe.

In any case, are the Chiefs revenues and profits going down? Would it be shocking if this relationship between Kelce and Taylor Swift is fake and this was only another marketing tactic? It might also be working, I reckon.

Neither the NFL, the cheifs, nor Taylor Swift are losing money right now it's quite the opposite.  The NFL is better than it ever has been.  They are using this to onboard new fans (Taylor's fanbase) but it's not because they are hurting.  Just with any business you cash in on these opportunities.  Just sucks everytime you watch the cheifs you have to deal with it.  In the end people are going to get more annoyed and stop watching if anything.

If people get more annoyed, they start pointing the camera on a different celebrity who is a girlfriend of a different player and start a NFL players get celebrity girlfriends storyline in mainstream media hehehee.

On my team, it appears Deshaun Watson will be out for another week vs. San Francisco 49ers. It is also being mentioned that he will be out for more weeks after this. He also has not been giving me the expected points. Should I drop him?
Personally I think Watson is a piece of shit and has not been a producing player since hi last year in Houston. If Cleveland didn't have a defense, they wouldn't be in many games. I would drop the guy, but who is out there to pick up?

I mean who knows if it’s really real or fake, though I’m honestly not of the conspiracy opinion on this one, I think Kelce legitimately is interested in Swift and is using/used his platform to make something happen. Good on him, I’d do the same.

But one thing is for sure as you’ve said, this is only a net positive for all parties involved money wise. Swift has her tour and movie coming out, the NFL brand is huge etc.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
snip
Funny, but it is Taylor the one that should leave us alone, if we were to create a Venn Diagram with two sets of data, NFL fans and Taylor Swift fans we will find out the number of people in the intersection of both of those set groups is minimal, so Taylor and her fans get to invade and ruin Chiefs games for everyone else, but maybe the NFL is enjoying higher ratings during the Chiefs games, but are the Chiefs selling more merchandise because of her other than Kelce’s jerseys? I doubt it and over the long run this could affect them, since they went from the current champs looking to repeat, to become nothing more but a footnote on a celebrity gossip website.
