Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Anyone watching the XFL? Yesterday I was trying to find something to watch and I found out the XFL already started, I only watched a few minutes so it was difficult to form an opinion about it, but the football withdrawal symptoms are so strong I am really tempted to watch a full game to see what is like.

Watched all games as I browsed the intertubes, it had some good moments but it doesn't compare when you don't really know the players yet.

The bookmaker I use (mybookie.ag) turned scammer halfway through the season apparently :/ there are tons of shitty reviews for them everywhere. They performed one cashout for me once, but it was so long ago, may have been 2021.

After I tried to do a withdrawal they said they didn't like my BTC address as I hadn't used it before. They locked me out of my account and gave me a non-working customer service number to call. I opened a support ticket and got a generic response telling me to call the same (invalid) number.

Sorry about the experience. It's definitely my first time hearing about the casino (would you mind sharing its link?)

There is nothing much members here can do to help recover your money especially if you deposited in crypto.

https://mybcasino.ag/

I was surprised by the title of this thread as MyBookie is a pretty bigtime operation; of course their URL is different:

https://mybookie.ag/

Turns out the casino is owned by MyBookie, at least according to this review.

They advertise on a few podcasts I listen to... they spend a lot of money on advertising, too bad the hosts don't know they have such an awful reputation.

Oh the irony... if only I had read my own comment before making a deposit there.  Roll Eyes

That sucks and honestly unless the book has provided constant cash outs for other people I don't know how they get business.  Too many stories of people getting locked out of their accounts under the premise of the "company" not trusting the deposit lol.  Wierd how they continually operate and nothing ends up happens to them.

This is pretty funny..

"Super Bowl champion Juju Smith-Schuster had the most savage Valentine's Day post. He wrote, "Happy Valentine's Day, everybody" with a card that said, "I'll hold you when it matters most" and a photo of Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry.

The card is in reference to Bradberry's holding call in the final minutes of the Super Bowl that gave the Chiefs a first down following a third-down incompletion in the red zone. The game was tied at the time, and the first down allowed Kansas City to all but run out the clock before kicking the game-winning field goal to secure its second Super Bowl in three years"- https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/look-juju-smith-schuster-trolls-james-bradberry-with-savage-valentines-day-card-a-j-brown-fires-back/

Juju sux, so glad I cut him.

AJ Brown is twice the man he is.

Juju is literally the last person that should be bragging.

I thought momentum was beginning to go on the Chiefs until thr Eagles get this touchdown and 2 point conversion to make the game tied with both teams have 35 points each and there is only 5 more minutes. My only wish for the game is an overtime hehehehe.

In any case, Chiefs was also lucky. If Jalen Hurts did not fumble the ball during the 2nd quarter the Eagles should be leading with the score 35-28.

There are many points in the game that kind of pivots it one way or another.  I wouldn't say they are lucky and you can't say they don't catch up with the eagles without that fumble recovery.  If ilhe didn't the whole game would have altered.  Either way it was one of the most exciting super bowls I've seen.  Lots of action just no defense.  Eagles defense folded pretty easily.

I am not taking anything from the Chiefs' victory, however, of course I will be biased because my bet was on Philadelphia hehehe. Everything I saw occur that went against them would be on Philadelphia. There was also the late holding penalty Philadelphia that has certainly affected the game's ending.

In any case, I am very much excited for our next fantasy league. Can we begin the draft order earlier? Also, let us begin collecting payment while bitcoin is priced low hehehehe.

I echo a lot of what the rest of you are saying.  I think it was a really good/entertaining game overall.  Yeah there was that ticky-tac call there in the end that was certainly a major deal, but technically it was the right call so ...of course I am biased, as I put some bitcoin down on the Chiefs at +1.  I knew that the over was the right call as well but I was running late to the SB party I was attending and by the time I sat down and had the chance to place a bet on the over it bumped up from 50 to 55 and thought that might be a bad bet at that point...I was sure wrong.

Now depression sits in where there's no NFL football for a shit ton of months Sad

Eagles D started out fine but in the second half it looked like they swapped out for a high school team.

It was a great game but the Eagles made too many mistakes against the Chiefs, if I am not mistaken the previous play was a 3rd & 1 and half of the OL of the Eagles jumped earlier and they were penalized making it a 3rd & 6, and that is when Hurts lost the ball, then there was the fumble of Sanders which was reviewed and reversed and that it could have gone either way.

At the end I still think the Eagles were the most talented team but the experience of the Chiefs and their superior coaching were enough to get them the win, so congrats to any Chiefs fan we may have and to anyone which made a bet on their favor.

Great game. I wanna thank the ref who called the half-hold that gave KC a fresh set of downs and set everything up for my V. Eagles fans must be pissed right now.

But all in all a fun game. Clearly not lopsided and the great matchup many of us were anticipating. Could have gone either way for most of it.

Soft penalty there, especially in that moment...but hey, refs had more egregious calls vs Bengals and even Jags game. Not surprised, kinda annoying and anticlimactic finish to the game, which i agree was fun.

What was also fun was NFL comparing the 85' Bears to the Eagles' pass rush  Cheesy.  Eagles' defense as a whole was nowhere to be found, lots of mistakes throughout the game. I wonder how bad was actually the field, for costing almost a mil, it did feel unstable and not making defenders any favors.

I didn't have that many bets except for a few improbable 10-legged SGPs, glad i stayed off the Eagles ml though. Kelce's Over rec yards was my only win, dude had some amazing route runs in the first quarter, it was beautiful to watch.

Anyway, enjoyable Super Bowl Sunday for the most part...

Probably the most interesting commercial was for the new Indiana Jones movie. In some parts it looked like they CGI'd 30 years off him. The name makes it sound like its going to be terrible, and there's a good chance it will be, but on the other hand I'm happy for Harrison Ford that he's still making new movies.

There are just a few hours left for the start of the game and still it was difficult for me to pick a side, but at the end I picked the Eagles to win, it is true Mahomes is too good and if he is healthy he is very difficult to stop, but overall the Eagles seem like the best team, especially their defense, and I think they can make a few key plays to stop Mahomes and make a difference in the game.

I pulled the trigger on Chiefs moneyline... Its scary but I'm betting on SB readiness and experience to carry the Chiefs to victory.

I bet on the Rams to win last year but that's because I'm a Rams fan.

@wheelz1200. I disagree because if everyone or much of the bettors and gamblers on the superbowl are laying on the Eagles, they would have adjusted the spread to -3.5 or more on Las Vegas already. The spread is only on -1.5 or -2. This implies that it might be a competitive game with gamblers divided on both of these teams. However, which secondary is better? Is it the 49ers or the Chiefs? I speculate that the Eagles secondary might make it very difficult for the Chiefs but the Eagles offensive team will make it easy to score against the Chiefs secondary.

Line was 0 immediately after the last playoff game. It has since shifted to Eagles -1.5, so more bets are taking the Eagles. I feel on one hand KC benefits from having SB veterans playing and a SB veteran coach. On the other hand Hurts is a beast, will probably get a lot of rushing yards and possibly even run one in, and the Eagles D triumphs over the Chiefs in just about every metric.

Gad, feels bad betting against KC tho. I will ponder it for another day or two.

Everyone laying on the Eagles has me weary.  Vegas doesn't lose big during the superbowl.  I'm leaning more and more on KC.  Just something tells me mahomes is going to have some wierd sidearm, underhand touchdown throw to win the game lol. And Chris Jones on kc is fierce maybe not the whole defense but Jones is gonna create havoc for hurts back there.
