Yeah it should be a pretty good game.  Both games this weekend are pretty damn exciting and all four teams in the games really deserve being there.  As much as I believe in the 49r's, it's not going to be easy for a rookie QB to be able to take down a team as complete as Philly is.  If I had to put money on the game, I think I'm siding with Philly.  Just because of the rookie QB situation and coming in just 7 games or so ago.

Regardless, can't wait to watch the games.

If 49ers win I guarantee it will be because Kittle has a huge day.

It will be more because they have one of the best defensive teams in the NFL this season. I social media, I am not quite certain why everyone appears to be cheering for Jalen Hurts to be the next football star because he has not been tested in this post season. Does everyone remember the game he had vs. the Buccaneers on last season's wild card games? The Buccaneers tested Jalen Hurts, he will be tested again by San Francisco's defense, I reckon. Also, the spread is only 2.5. The sportsbooks know this will not be easy for the Eagles.

Kittle and McCaffrey both will need to have a good day for the 9ers to proceed.  The Eagles' run-defense is ranked 16th, right in the middle of the league, so the 9ers' run game will likely be the deciding factor.  That's one of the reasons I'm not so worried about the fact that we're going into the NFC Championship with a rookie QB.  Don't get me wrong, the 9ers have had issues playing on the east coast, so it'll have to be error-free football for them to get the win.

But we all know that defense wins championships, so the our D needs to keep our offense working within the capabilities of a good run game.  If the Eagles rack up the score as they've been doing so far this year it'll be difficult for our offense to keep up.

Regardless of who wins, this is turning out to be a pretty good season of playoff football.  Last year's playoffs were full of amazing matches, and this year has been pretty exciting as well.

Those of you with 4k TVs been enjoying the Fox broadcasts this playoffs?  It drives me nuts that Fox is the only one doing 4k and only doing so for the playoffs.

I hope the Super Bowl will be in 4k, does anyone remember if it was last year?

Anyway, I think niners will finally collapse this week (sorry Dire),

Don't be sorry, we'll just have to agree to disagree.  Realistically, I've been saying that I think the Eagles are a fluke since mid-season.  I predicted they would be one and done in the playoffs, so obviously my prediction isn't 100% accurate, but I'll settle for two and done.  Grin

I am not a football expert or have as much information and knowledge compared to everyone in this thread, however, I agree that the 49ers might give everyone the shock of the season. It will be witnessed that it will be the most difficult game that the Eagles has ever played this season. I am afraid that Jalen Hurts might fail to perform in the most critical of moments because of San Francisco's defense.

This will be called the miraculous game.

Haha, I'll take that bet.

$5 says Bosa causes a strip sack fumble.

BTW, do you want your FF winnings or what?

Haha, oh yeah, wasn't on the top of my list.

I'll take that bet and you can hold my winning for collateral. Tongue

But to your point, a catastrophic collapse of the 9ers wouldn't surprise me, but that's what it'll take for Philly to proceed.

Bengals will crush KC (who already seem to be looking for excuses - Mahomes injury etc), and after the SB

After this weekend's performances of the Bengals and Chiefs I agree that Cincinnati will be the AFC champions once again.  I had the Bills going to the Super Bowl, but obviously they need to learn to play in the snow first.

there will be a riot in Philly either way.

Okay, I'm confused.  Did they ever stop rioting in Philly?

What a weekend of games we had.  It did however play out as I expected it to.  Just wish I would have put way more money on Cincy as I had complete faith in them, as well as a little more on the San Francisco (  Grin ).

I'm in agreement, I believe we will see Cincy in the Championship game again.  Joe Burrow is ridiculous. I'd happily trade the entire bears roster for that guy.  As for who they will meet in the championship, who knows.

I was able to get the Bengals at +1 yesterday, where they are now at -1.5.  I wonder how much more the line might move.  Sure if Mahomes somehow gets ruled out it'll move a lot, but otherwise, just with his health news, will be interesting to see how it moves through the week.

I think Philly needs to graded on a curve here. Merely smashing store windows can't count as a riot there, nobody would even notice it.

Rooting for Eagles, Bengles and 49ers, I like my chances. Cheesy

How's that going to work? I mean niners vs iggles.

There is a 49ers fan from San Fran or Frisco in this thread, however, is there a Cincinnati fan? Also, there might be an argument that the 49ers is the best team the Eagles will play this season.

I speculate that it might be the underdogs superbowl on February 3. The 49ers' defense might make it appear that they are playing against only the Cowboys hehehe. I reckon the Bengals and the Chiefs game might be high scoring and the Bengals having the luck of going to the superbowl.

For the 49ers, it will the their defense and for the Bengals, it will be luck.

Nooooo!! The Bills can't lose, this is like messing up this season's entire destiny! The weather wasn't supposed to be like this, there were too many bad calls against the Bills! They should check Mixon for performance-enhancing drugs!!

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
I remember mentioning this last year but I cannot help to think the Bills are not built to play at their own stadium at December and January, even if there were no major mistakes, except that interception when the game was already decided, the Bills could not run the ball and the Bengals despite having three backups on their Offensive Line could run for 172 yards, there were plays in which Mixon just ran around the Linebackers as if they were glued to the ground and could get no traction on their feet, and even more telling than the yards the Bengals got by running the ball is the specific detail they got 14 1st downs running the ball while the Bills got only 3, and it is very difficult to win a playoff game played on the snow if you cannot run the ball.

Take Mike Evans, he's a hugely underrated wr.
And he is very conditioned by the current situation of the bucs.
Being a lifelong bucs you see just how his season depends on how he throws the wind for the team.
The two years with Brady prior to this have been flawless, this year has been a disappointment along with the whole team.  Prior to Brady he too had up and down seasons depending on his team.
Then, by the law of large numbers, if you evaluate his entire career, a Mr. wr still emerges, with the highest number of tds ever in his team.
But season by season it always depends on the whole context

these are my 2 cents

There might be a communication barrier here.  Don't know what you are getting at bucs along with Mike Evans are probably on some island on vacation right now.

With being said so are my giants.  What a terrible game that was.  Worst playoff game overall I've seen in a long time.  Boring end to end.  Backing the Bengals from here on out.

SuperBowl:
Buffalo Bills @ San Francisco 49ers

Bills just feel more "Super Bowl-ready" to me. Of course I respect your hometown favoritism.

I respect it so much so that I think SF will cover the -4 spread against Dallas, easy peasy.

Its a bit late in the FF season to be picking up new players bro.

Edit: Actually that's not a bad analysis for drafting a player for next season. I would say it depends on if Brady will still be there but at this point maybe it does not.

Today I got the cheifs by a field goal and the giants 27-23.  Yep I know I'm a giant fan but just feeling it.  Hurts might have healed a little more but he could do little to nothing against the giants practice squad a couple weeks ago.  Tomorrow I got the Bengals and the 49ers.  I actually thing the 9ers and cowboys game is going to be a high scoring game.  Should be a fun weekend

On winning underdogs, I speculate that it might be the Bengals that have a chance of winning against the favorite. The Bills did not have a well played game against the Dolphins, I reckon. Joe Burrow and the Bengals team might shockingly find that they have the advantage in the middle of the game.
