At one point in time Cutler had the best WR duo in the league when Brandon Marshall was in his prime and Alshon Jeffrey was a young up and coming star.  He also had some solid TE help with Martellus Bennett ( I'm not sure I spelled that right but I'm too lazy to google it).

I always thought Alshon never got the credit he deserved at that time and Bennett and Marshal were both a bit over rated.

Alston was a great wide receiver.  I even liked cutler, I liked his edge dude didn't care how big someone was lol.  Way different than Elias laid back attitude.  Bennett was also solid too, big with good hands.  Tight ends are getting to be like tall wide receivers nowadays.

I couldn’t stand him and still can’t. Even when he was playing pretty well for us (which was very much just here and there), Jay is just an impossible guy to like. He’s kinda like the Paul brothers to me, just smug and arrogant and way overhyped.

Ohh, I agree! I didn't think he was ever any good but he could put up fantasy numbers just because all he did was throw long all day no matter what the coverage! Cheesy

Well It was fun while it lasted and got me back into the game, 5 game win streak broken by Hampus today by destroying me with LT just like he did week 1 !!! Pretty funny the only games LT did anything were against me. Not that it matters I would have lost to everyone this week.

And he did it without a QB !!!!!!

EDIT; Most .500+ teams lost this week, should make for an interesting 2nd half of the season Cheesy
This was a really important week for the league, it seemed the top four teams were running away from the rest, but with three of them losing this week this has increased the chances of 0.500 teams and below to try to get one of the spots to the playoffs.

I would like to get one of those spots but if I am honest the improvement of my team was just luck, I was fortunate to get Fields on FA and then he scored 90 points in two weeks, I have players in many team which have not scored 90 points all season, and now I have to face the Saylor Jerkers in a game which not will be easy, even if the Saylor Jerkers have four players on a Bye and one player listed as Doubtful.

Yeah I'm happy with my win this week. If I have any chance at hell at making a playoff spot, I've got to go on a run.  I think I've got a chance if my RBs can be decent. We shall see.

Crazy indeed.. He's done literally nothing besides week 1 and now this week, lol.

Sorry about no QB btw, super busy weekend and never expected Murray to be out, yahoo app on my phone seems broken too so will have to try and fix that before this Sunday.

The game was started and it still had Murray labeled as questionable so not sure if yahoo had a glitch or not but at least it didn't cost you. Smiley

Yes I think LT is back now, Saturday is just the thing the Colts needed to rally around!

Unfortunately for them they are going to run into a steamroller next week after the fucking the Eagles took today.

And yeah its cool most of the lower ranked teams won against higher this week, always fun when its close!

I'm not gunna get to crazy yet, but man this is pretty exciting for a guy who's best QB ever in their teams life time is...Jay Cutler  Cheesy

I gotta say this made me laugh and recall playing cutler back in the day. Smiley

We might just finally have a quarterback in Chicago.  Fields has been tearing it up the past several weeks and last week, holy shit, setting a new QB rushing record as well as throwing for 3 TDs, I don't even care that we lost the game.  My whole hope going in to this season for the Bears was Justin Field progressing and it's sure looking like that's exactly what's happening.  I'm not gunna get to crazy yet, but man this is pretty exciting for a guy who's best QB ever in their teams life time is...Jay Cutler  Cheesy
It seems it is finally time for the bears to do well as we know that once you have a QB then it is easier to form a good offense around him, also the fact that Rodgers is playing awfully is giving you a nice schadenfreude right? It is impossible this is not the case as after having to deal with Favre then bears fans had to deal with Rodgers.

Yet another mostly stellar performance from Fields. I can’t believe this guy is all of a sudden potentially the best running QB in the league. I mean I still think you have to give that title to Lamar, but shit he’s not had games like Fields just had which is insane to me.  Oh and you better believe I’ve taken a ton of joy from Rodgers struggles. He did have a nice game this week but they are bound to miss the playoffs and that greedy mofo has to sit at home at watch. Honestly have to wonder if money means more to him than the game as this point.

Brady looking decent so far, never count out the goat.  When it's all said and done this year they will end up probably being one of the top teams in the nfc and Brady will work his magic in the playoffs.  I can just see it now.

Just hope for ff he doesn't hit Mike Evans too much.  Going against Evans in a couple of my leagues.

Hehe instead of revenge trading to get back everything he lost in one trade, he will release all of his anger, all of his frustrations, all of his disappointments on the football field. I might have made a mistake when I told everyone that Tom Brady will be distracted by the collapse of FTX. However, what the other teams can do against Goat Brady is stick these NFTs on the helmets of their defensive line hehehehehhee.

This will certainly distract him. NSFW

My entire team in the two games i faced Moon Coiners this season, 1 total touchdown (excl qbs), scored by a player that's not even on my team anymore.  Cheesy

Yeah my team is quite sucky right now, but I got lucky...

Whereas Dire got unlucky to lose this week with a huge score like that.

Anyway, how many wins do you think will secure a playoff spot? Obviously, nine means you are in, so i'm looking at eight wins and above-average Pts For. What was the tie-breaker in the event that two teams have the same record at the end of the regular season...h2h record, total points scored, or something else?

Playoff Tie-Breaker:    Higher seed wins

Which, if I'm not mistaken, is based on "points for" when W-L is equal.

Edit: actually "playoff tie-breaker" might be about something else (perhaps if a playoff game ends in a tie?), but still - playoff selection should be based on the standings order on the "league overview" page, which is I think W-L, then "points for".

Edit2:

Regular season standings determine a team's playoff seed, matchup, and schedule. [...] In leagues without divisions, playoff seeds are based on overall standings.

Regular season tiebreakers
    Total fantasy points (season total).
Fantasy points scored in the most recently completed matchup.
Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior (this continues until the tie is broken).

It was pretty funny watching a crowd of Germans singing Country Roads. Smiley

Added: Colt McCoy playing, weird that Murray still says "Questionable" on my screen.

I watched the fourth quarter of the TB/SEA game and it was a good one. What I liked the most was how into it those Germans were. They loved it. I notice with the UK games as well that fans come dressed in the jerseys of their favorite team, regardless of who is on the field.

Love the Cheesehead guy. He's like, "I saw people doing it on TV, its funny, I'm gonna do it too."

I saw Colts, Titans, Broncos, Patriots and Giants jerseys, in addition to a couple of Buccaneers. Not many Seahawks fans, tho. Lots of swaying beer steins & singing of American classics... I think they had a lot of fun.

@wheelz1200. Yes, out of full of anger on Sam Bankrupt-Fried for scamming him, he can use his face to be the face of Binance hehehehe. However, I reckon that he will be very afraid to touch anything that will have connections to cryptocoins or the cryptospace. It will be very much similar to a Vietnam war veteran having a traumatic disorder for him heheheheehee.

We might witness Brady to become the oldest football player to play in the NFL in his 50s.

It's an interesting thing to witness failure on such a large scale when most of us would and could live quite comfortably on a very small fraction of their net worth.  I wonder how much of an affect their investment strategy had on their marriage, and how much the tension between them has had on his success (or lack thereof) this season.

Anyway, he's been the goat for so long, and he'll continue to be the goat for decades to come.  The endorsements alone are likely to keep him financially secure for the rest of his life.  A super-models marketability, however has a waning outlook in most cases.  Unless your Heidi Klum, she's still hotter than Gisele if you ask me, but having a full time plastic surgeon on your payroll can give that appearance.

Agreed.  Brady can go dead broke and still make millions a year through straight marketing.  His "face" is worth a lot in commercials alone.  I doubt he sunk every dollar into a crypto currency exchange though. No one can be that stupid could they??  If so yeah these next couple games might be real shaky.  Dude will be a nervous wreck lol.

This might be the season to bet against goat Brady. I am presently quite certain the stress of the cryptospace has begun to negatively have an effect on his concentration on the football field. The cryptospace might be the cause of him losing his wife and going back to work after retirement. We might witness Brady to become the oldest football player to play in the NFL in his 50s.
Did that actually happen? I could understand that if in an effort to diversify their investment portfolio they put 1% on FTX or something like that, and in that case the current crash will not affect them that much, but if they invested a great deal of their net worth on FTX I wonder who is their financial advisor as this is a bonehead move.

He was offered a lot of money to become a broadcaster, and if he is any good that could be a huge source of income for him for decades to come, personally I would love to see Peyton, Eli and Brady all together, but I do not know if this is possible.

Also +1 to Heidi Klum. Wink
