Now for something completely different; a man with more questions:
1. For what time do you prefer to schedule the draft? I vote for ~12:00 UTC and later, or 05:00 UTC and earlier.
2. Get rid of kickers? NO!
3. Change waiver order to reverse standings? Yes.*
*This isn't such a big deal to me, really. I don't mind keeping things the way they are, so consider this a soft vote. The way things were last year certainly didn't hurt Hueristic, he was doing horribly at the start of the season, and made a ton of smart moves despite the random waiver order.
I just think that "reverse standings" could help keep the league more competitive, and it's worth trying for a year.
I think it's fair to allow yahoo62278 and seek3r to vote on the above questions.
Thanks for doing the update.
1) Draft time I think we used EST last year and no-one had issues with that so I'd say we stay with it so there are no mistakes. I have no issue with 2-8pm EDT so if everyone states there range and preferences of which mine would be 7pm then i'm sure we can hit a happy median for everyone and I think we used 7pm last year.
2) Kickers , I'm ambivalent on this but if we changed kickers to flex we would have a serious issue with lack of choices on the waiver wire.
3) We have 3 choice and used continual rolling list last year.
a) Continual Rolling List
b) Reverse Order of Standings
c)
Weekly Rolling List Based on Standings :My vote
OK I've thought alot about this recently we currently have Continual rolling which is probably the most advantageous to those who had a good draft as they can save up their waiver for when they really want a guy and their priority will be increasing every week they don't use it as those that use it drop to the bottom and it DOES NOT reset every week.
For a more friendly league a reverse order of standings gives the last place team the first priority and is RESET every week and this allows losing teams a chance to build a team from the wire thereby making them more competitive and less likely to give up and quit as no-one likes being stuck with guys that are under performing with no hope of getting good replacements. Now the only issue I see with this is if you build a good team and half way through the season your top guy hits IR then you may not be able to get a decent replacement until you lose so many weeks your no longer in contention. So I have been thinking maybe we can have a Hybrid waiver order where at the beginning of the season we allow the reverse order every week until say week 6 and then switch to continual rolling for the remaining weeks which should help everyone out similarly if I understand everything correctly.
Also I prefer "Weekly Rolling List Based on Standings waiver priority" which is the same as "Reverse Order of Standings" except you drop to the bottom when you use your waiver which is only fair.
Yahoo's description of waiver types:
About Continual Rolling List waiver priority
Managers are ranked from high to low to determine who wins a waiver claim.
The initial priority rank is determined by the league's draft:
Live and Autopick Drafts - The last draft position gets 1st rank.
Offline Drafts - The last to register gets 1st rank.
Every time a manager's claim is successful, they drop to the bottom of the priority list.
The priority list is never reset.

Live and Autopick Drafts - The last draft position gets 1st rank.
Offline Drafts - The last to register gets 1st rank.
After each Game Week in the regular season, the waiver priority list is reset:
The new rank is determined by the reverse order of the current league standings (the manager with the lowest league standing gets 1st rank).
When playoffs begin, the waiver priority list stops resetting.
Ranks are not affected by:
Successful waiver claims.
Stat corrections that affect the league standings after the current week's rank has been determined.
About Weekly Rolling List Based on Standings waiver priority
This priority is the same as the "Reverse Order of Standings" waiver priority, except that when a manager's claim is successful, that manager drops to the bottom of the priority list.
I am Sending Yahoo and S33k3r invite links to join right now.
Also I think everyone agreed on the .0025btc fee staying the same so we can get our dues in to DW when he provides an addy.
Also I prefer to use Monero is its OK with DW.
Yes. I vote for no rule changes though

Me as well... I'm a fan of consistency.

So today was the pre-preseason game, Jets vs. Browns. I only watched the recap but I noticed that Greg Zuerlein put the first six points on the board... See? Kickers are important!
Not totally surprising that Rogers sat on the sidelines for the whole game. Will be interesting to see how he does this year. And I never thought I'd say this, but I missed Chris Collinsworth's voice.
Next games are on the 10th: Texans vs. Pats and Vikings vs. Seahawks
Yeah it was a snoozer, but was cool to hear collinsworth, I've been watching redzone so much last few years I almost forgot what the regular announcers sound like.
League rules don't need much changing, my only issue is with the waiver order. I believe that the default setting "reverse standing" is a better option since "continual rolling" can be in a way exploited, with higher seeds receiving top priority as long as they play the waiver passively. Reverse standing will also improve league competitiveness by providing a much-needed boost to teams with bad records mid-through the season.
Agreed but rolling can also be exploited if your devious enough to tank your fisrt few weeks.
Thats why I recommended Weekly Rolling List Based on Standings.
However, the rule change on waivers, will it make it easier for not very good fantasy players like me? I would have to agree to that change if yes hehehehehe.
You made some great moves last year!
I for one thought you were insane when You picked CMC over J.Taylor!
Well guess I ate some crow on that one!
Also you were leading for what the first half of the season and the only reason you didn't win imo was your bench depth.
You came in 3rd I think and for a second year player against the quality of players in this league I'd say that was a massive accomplishment!
I could argue that someone not "playing the waivers" is using less of it up, so they are more deserving of getting that next spot in the order. Why should someone be rewarded for playing poorly? They could be picking up and dropping players like crazy AND get preferential treatment on the waiver wire...I'm not a fan of this personally.
Its such a tough balance to keep a league competitive and also fun, this is why I have been thinking a hybrid approach may be best for all players.
