I think if Tom wanted to refund BTC, he'd have done it earlier already.  It's been close to a week and no further BTC refunds have taken place.

I got a feeling he's using BTC -> USD -> CC refunds to avoid legal trouble

I don't think we will see our precious bitcoins back.

Unfortunately I have pretty much experience with BTC-related scams (Tawsix, Zhou, P.. etc) and this is just like other scams.

Pretty much like regular said, I think Tom cashed our BTC and is only paying back CC clients.

I am really getting tired of being taken by bitcoin scammers.

My refund request is from 9-Jan-2013, still not received:

Current outstanding orders are

Are there anyone from BTCFPGA? Many times I have asked for refunding via built-in form and once via email. No answer.
My preorder number is 1980, my Return ID: #31 Wallet for refunding is 1dice198ApGrvP8VR2pAJjen8kkhyF9mG
Also I banned on your forums, so I cant ask there.

Are you sure you copied that correctly? I'm not sure you want your refund going to SatoshiDice.

However, everyone who potentially may be ripped off, we should have some type of plan in place... drive to NYC? ROAD TRIP!

At this point the BTC refund people should classify this not only as a scam but also theft.. as it seems at this current time your money (BTC) has been taken (stolen) on a false premise to deliver an item that never existed which is 100% fact.. no matter how you try to re-arrange the words... "intention" and actual "reality" are two different things on this one..

Good luck on your future Nigerian inheritances!  Tongue

Be alright if you had a clue how the law works intention is the difference if you kill someone with no intention of doing so its manslaughter otherwise it is murder or justifiable homicide if you had grounds to reasonably be in fear of your own life being taken. In a business deal if the party responsible for the damages incurred had every intention of doing what they said and circumstances lead to bad conclusion then that is sorry about your luck you get to sue for damages, if they had no intention on delivering what they said then that is sorry about their thieving asses luck, a huge difference.

lol - awww.. how cute that Tom still has supporters and fans.. is there a Tom fan club you guys are apart of that includes a "team tommy" t-shit and little bottle of jack daniels?

Like I have stated before, I don't care what Tom has done in the past.. from a business stand point.. what has he done lately other than bend over a good amount of people while holding their money for 5 months interest free?

Bottom line:  this was a "scam" - which I define as something and/or service that was paid for never came true and/or never existed.. my disputes/chargebacks with the CC companies have been in progress since early Jan while being credited the full amounts into my account.  I have 1 of 3 CC refunds actually verified by the CC co's.

People have been requesting BTC refunds for weeks, and none have received it.
The stated plan is CC then BTC.  Money has been actively flowing.

The revised plan is CC first, then if the funds last, some of the BTC orders may be refunded. BTC refunds were requested long before the "cc first" plan was ever devised, yet they weren't processed. Why?

It is a federal crime therefore federal prison you go to when defrauding CC customers BTC do they even give a shit...

some of us request a btc refund befor shit hit the fan an like i. i have no problem loseing some bntc to exchange rate but since my refund was requested on the 14th i belive my exchange rate should be pretty close to that dates exchange rate not the rate of when he actually  feels like paying us refunds

Dave made the suggestion to Tom to take $15 for exchange rate, as this was about the time most bailed out (8-9th of januari). That would be great if he did that. But rather loose some on exchange then have no refunding in BTC at all !

I paid with BTC but I share this attitude, not yours 100%digital !

If you paid $ 1070, you'll get back $1070. If you payed with BTC, you paid also $1070. If you paid in EUR, you'll paid $1070!

If that ment 60BTC and now its only 50BTC, the same is for EURO. That was maybe € 860,- and now you will get back € 840,-.

If you didn't buy a bASIC in sept, but bought BTC, you would now have about $1500 instead of $1070. So it all does not matter.

If you buy a new car, never drove it and sell it half a year later, you also lost some money.

Stop wining about that.

And for Tom: I don't know what you are doing, but DO THE BTC PAYMENTS! Or at least let us know WHEN you are going to do that (and go through with that without delays).

I assuming the people that have all this "trust" in Tom stuck with their order (and him) even after his drunken rants, selling the company to "the Asians", missed meetings with people that wanted to help out, started betting BTC that he can have shit delivered in March, offered zero proof on anything, and then ceased all communication for awhile.. then decide to shut it all down..

Did you have a pre-order with bASIC ? I think I recognize you. Were you not the second one on the left of me on the skydive picture? Just because you did not have a nigerian parachute, doesn't mean you have to shout that loud.....

I think there are some rich Nigerian Prince folk that have tons of free money to hand out that would love to have your contact information.

Agreed. I also am waiting on a BTC refund and trust I will get it.

I also am tired of people whining about the exchange rates.... if your pissed maybe you should have just paid in USD. Get over it!
