-I 13 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 1  --gpu-engine 1040 --gpu-memclock 1500

I am getting 295kh/s max, cant squeeze more no mater what Sad maybe someone was able to get more on this card?

Try -I 12 and up the thread-concurrency. I would think 8192 is too low for a 3 GB card and one thread.
Use GPU-Z to check dedicated memory count. Or HWinfo (load sensors) if you use Windows 8 +.
If you're using vertminer 0.5.3. Use --shader-count instead of --thead-concurrency.

Here's my batch.

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 200
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
COLOR 0A
vertminer -o stratum+tcp://vtc.poolz.net:3333 -u xxxxx -p xxxx -I 12 -w 256 -g 2 -v 1 --thread-concurrency 4448 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1500

I'm getting around 170-180 out of each of my 270's except they all get a few HW...
Help?

I have a 270X 2GB. I use -g 1 (single thread instead of two) and --thread-concurrency 9995. Rest the same as you. No HW.
vertminer 0.5.3.

Haven't tried yet. Maybe use shader count instead of thread-concurrency?

I've never used shader count with it, how would I use it? same way as tc and same number?

hi,
I have a Radeon HD5670 and my Hashrate for Vertcoin are very very low (10-12kh/s)
my settings are -I 16 -g 2 -w 128 --thread-concurrency 3048
can anyone help me ?
Can you see "HW" in the miner window and is there a number next to it? This should be 0. Intensity (-i) generally needs to be kept below 13.
ok, yes it is HW: 0 and on -I 12 i now have only 9kh/s
any other idea?
Try with thread concurrency of 2048. You can increase intensity until you start getting HW errors.

(You won't get much out of that card as it only hits ~100KH/s mining LTC, apparently.)
thx for your help, now its better (40-50kh/s) thx Smiley

I'm unable to generate any transactions. I am using the modified cgminer for windows and have a steady 350kh/s. I am getting valids (over 1500 now) and have been mining for over an hour. Anybody know what I am doing wrong??

Hi,

I am running Vertminer 0.5.3 on Xubuntu 12.04. So far no problems. Only one thing that bothers me is that Vertminer is not showing overview of hashrate, fan speed, temperatures, etc. as usual but I get screen of "running" text where actual hashrate is sometimes shown at the very bottom.

Do you have any idea what is wrong? Thanks for help.

Do you have libncurses5-dev installed?

I installed mentioned lib but unfotunately with no efect.

Any other idea? Is there someone who runs Linux rig who can share experiences? Thanks.

Did you compile yourself? If so try again now that cursus lib is installed?

I have compiled vertminer into BAMT and have everything running, however my Reject Ratio seems high at about 10-15% is this normal for vertcoin? as when mining anything scrypt based I get 1-2% maximum.

Example:

Total Hash: 1900 Kh/s (5x cards per machine)
Hash: 380 Kh/s per card.

208 total accepted shares
41 total invalid shares
16.466% reject ratio

Just got 2 R9 290 Sapphire Tri-x with Hynix memory..does anyone have some decent settings for this card with hynix memory Huh? I have same Elpidia cards and elpidia settings doesn't seem to work with them well. on -12mv, 1000/1500 on hynix I got freeze after few minutes...and horizontal lines from the beginning.

Just set this up, was getting bad rates, disabled crossfire and got R9290s at 400kh/s each.
Wasn't a problem to have cf on with other cgminers I've used before.

I have the following settings on my 2xGigabyte 7950s setup (I got a couple of cards n the shop):
./vertminer -o startum+tcp://stratum.vertco.in:8080 -u -p x -I 13  --thread-concurrency 14777   --gpu-engine 1050  --gpu-memclock 1500

these are the best settings I can get without getting HW errors and all I get is a whopping 327 mhs  Angry!!!!

Apparently everyone has r9 280x now, so I have been having a lot of trouble trying to get better settings around here  Undecided

Would be awesome if more people published their configs for 7950s

Cheers!  Grin

That's not bad. Remember hashrate is half of normal scrypt. Going to try your settings as mine (posted some 20 updates ago) got me a good 250Khs on HD7950's.

I'm getting 163.5 khs per card! not 327 hashes each ! I used to mine @ ~650 dogecoin so I am currently mining @ 1/4 of the normal scrypt currencies :-/

That explains why I couldn't get it to work properly.

My HD7950 (XFX's) config again, for 250+ Khs each:
./vertminer -o blabla -u aa -p bb --failover-only -I 19,19 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 16384 --gpu-powertune 5,15 --gpu-engine 1110 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-fan 30-90 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --scan-time 30 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 80 --api-port 4028 --api-listen --api-network --api-allow W:192.168.1/24

Weird! I get a TON of HW with your settings. Guess I'll be sshing from my morning classes to get a clean install going and give it another try

Try adding -g 2 to your batch file and post your results.

Okay, I'm out of options so i'm going to have to beg for help.

I've tried running both the vercoin miner and the modified cgminer for vertcoin mining but I can't get either one to run more than 2 of my 290s at the same time.  I have 3 290x and one 290 in the same rig.  I can individually enable any 2 of them at one time, but never more than 2.  I'm aware that system RAM and TC affects these things, but I have 8 gigs and am running 64-bit Windows 7.  I have no problems scrypt mining with all 4.  Things I've tried:

1.  I've run both miners with nothing but the server and my login information - only 2 start.
2.  I've tried running with specific devices enabled and then manually enabling them 1 by one - only 2 run, but technically I can get the other 2 to not say OFF.
3.  I've tried running at TC of 8192, 16xxx, 24xxx - only 2 start.
4.  I've reset my system and tried running with optimum settings - only 2 start.

The error message is always the same:  Error -4: .......

And suddenly they all started.  I had recently made a change to the core clock rate down to 900 and reduced the thread concurrency to 8192 again.  Seemingly worked.  Core clocks back up to 1000 again after they turned on.

I'm still posting this in case others have a similar problem.

edit:  NO work being done above I 13 even though minimal HW.  Hashrate pathetic at I 13 ~  275 Kh/s per card.
