What makes gambling illegal is the impact the gambling process has on it. The negative impact often occurs when you lose and continue to lose, the capital you have runs out and eventually you will commit criminal acts in order to get capital to gamble again. But for those who gamble just for entertainment, their money management is of course very minimal and doesn't care about winning, only as entertainment. emotional control is indeed very difficult, an addicted gambler will not be able to do it. Playing gambling must be with a clear mind and the purpose of gambling must also be clear. do not cross the pre-defined limit. if you win stop for a moment, if you continue to lose stop and leave first.

Society has some rules that in the long run has proven correct.They,the society see gambling as a bad thing and not necessarily gamblers as bad persons but since these people called gamblers are involved in this bad act then most probably they assume these people to be bad.History has shown us that except those people who won multi million dollars jackpots no one else has been successful in the long run in gambling,this says a lot as why gambling is considered bad by many religions and societies.In gambling you can never earn continuously as no one can control their emotions for a long time without making a rushing bad decision.

Once a person is addicted, he will have two things running in his mind according to me. First thing how to recover what the person have lost. Second thing how to arrange for funds with which gambling can be done to recover the funds. By the time they never think of family and all as said above. Once after losing the frustration hits hard as the person won't be able to meet his family's needs. Some used to think of ending the life whereas others share and confess to get relief.

People playing gambling in my thing is the two way, they want to entertain themselves or just to seek fun or they want to earn money through playing gambling because those are the most common factor, gambling is not only a decision making also a game against the mental and emotional state to win the game, that's why there are a lot of people getting addicted because of the greediness they urge to play. It is better if we seek the gambling only for entertainment and not too much into it as like source of income again not all the time is the winning days.

You are right. When we play gambling, we can forget the time and can play gambling all day. We can imagine how much money we will use, especially if we deposit large amounts. Not to mention the problem of addiction that can cause other problems in our lives, such as losing all the money on the gambling table so we can't buy our necessities of life. If we are addicted to gambling, in our minds, there is only gambling and how we can have money to gamble. We won't see if we can buy food after we finish gambling because we won't think that way.

That's traditional mindset imo, I do not think modern people now still think that gambler is bad berson. I cant deny the fact that there are still many people who think like that especially in small villages like where I live now. Not only people think that gambler is bad person, but the government consider gambler as criminal. This is why gambler gets very bad image by people who live in a country where gambling is considered as illegal activity or as a one type of crime.

Well, it's how the society is right now. They will pre-judge you base on what you are doing. They will pre-judge you without knowing you personally. That's the problem right now and that's how people is right now unfortunately and that's also the reason why I prefer being an introvert sometimes.

I don't see gamblers as bad persons. They only become bad whenever they will do bad things just to sustain their gambling addiction. Gamblers really are helping the government by a lot like you said because the casinos are paying taxes to the them.

Do you want to know why many think that a gambler is bad person? because many think that gambling is tantamount to wasting money you have earned by working especially when the person becomes addicted will justify any means to be able to gamble but if you can gamble with good self-control then it will not be a problem but unfortunately, a lot who can't be like that, gambling to earn is not easy and not everything can be like that.

I think it is more severe to have an addiction to online gambling than to physical gambling. Because literally in physical gambling you have to go personally to the place where it operates compared to having to spend on the fare or drive your car to get there, whereas in online gambling it is not, but at any time a gambler can do it even he is at home or wherever he goes as long as my date connection or internet on mobile apps he can still gamble for sure in this matter.

apart from the lack of experience or too much, we've learned something from this matter, right?

Well maybe it is the condemnation it got from the bible talking about religion. In the bible, Jesus got angry with some gamblers doing that in the synagogue, he destroyed their game and chased them away and those people also form part of the people that were against him and killed him.


A reason for this may be that gamblers must times have also been found with doing illicit and dangerous business, at least high percentage of the population and this is why the police trace criminals to such gambling places, this is just what I think but not all gamblers are bad but many also involve in drugs, killings or terrorism.


Yeah this is why I said not all gamblers are bad. Gambling is now used by many as source of support for the family. There many husbands now gambling on the current EPL matches that just started This is an unfortunate situation of the economy.


If you are a gambler, can you really say that you are gambling just for the fun of it and you don't expect money in return? Gambling involves staking money to win additional money.

It's not really good to gamble only to earn money, that's the first criteria why many gamblers become an addicts. Can you tell me how much the percentage of people who actually earn from gambling? I'm curious because of people who gamble with me are suffer from losses, only few people do earn some money. But it's not enough to pay your daily expenses with gambling sources, just extra money.

Apart from the prevailing need to win money, I think that one of the things they take into account the most is winning the game, that is, in their minds the idea of always being able to win the jackpot is always kept, in cases like these, The person usually always seeks to be lucky with the first games, making large bets is an option or strategy that they have to win and that is where things go wrong, because if they lose that money, how can it be recovered? then the person begins to make loans and if he loses, he just continues to get into debt until a moment will come when he will be indebted to many people and may fall into a depression.

If we come to this point then this is the time to ask or reach for help this is the point where self-help will not work anymore you need interference you need professional help to help you combat your addiction, and it will first start once you are admitted you have these symptoms, those who are addicted are always in denial stage that is why help from outside sources are denied.

The problem in this I think there will be a lot of people who are not strong enough to contain the desire in their greed.
My mistake a few months ago was that this caused me to lose quite a lot, but with this I actually realized and actually this kind of greed might be awakened as well when we have felt a big enough loss, so that indeed it can be an experience so that we don't lose it. the same thing happened later.

Gambler are involved in criminal activity is actually a fallacy to the country where gambling is legal.  But it is a fact in the country where gambling is illegal.  If you are doing illegal stuff, you are doing a criminal activity.  So engaging in gambling activity in a country where gambling is ban is like engaging or getting involved in a criminal activity wherein there is a punishment when you are caught.  And I believe engaging in illegal gambling has more possibility of getting addicted to gambling.

When you are on the actual situation or problem then you would really be finding it to be hard and yes its easy to say than done which getting rid of addiction specially
if its already planted on you or had shackled you out  where getting out of it would be the toughest challenged  but eventually you are the only one who could resolved
such problem because you can eventually quit if you wanted to even though wont be that easy but its not impossible. Characteristics of person who do get addicted
with gambling? It would be pretty obvious imho and you would mainly notice it out on just simply seeing someones actions.

I still don't know why many persons think that gambling has a revert effects on us especially when it comes religion. They think that as a gambler, you are a bad person and you have the trait of involving in a bad art which had been the way the society sees gamblers. We gamble to earn and many persons had turned to gambling for a better way to earn without having to work or depends on the government to provide basic amenities. The risk is you either win or lose which had made it difficult for us to continually decide the kind of winning we want.

The way I am seeing some people emphasizing negatively of gambling I don't think that it is really a gambling aim of being into existence. Not anybody who is into gambling is corrupt who is into gambling is a bad person. I want to use this opportunity to pass information across everyone who is thinking that the gambling is a bad thing because from my understanding a gambling is another way of making a dirty money like a political money which will all know that the political money is a dirty money so anyone condemning gambling I don't think that the person have browse and read across why gambling is into existence before tagging whoever that is a gambler a criminal or bargaining
