Well it worked! D. henry is out so he had no-one to goto besides L. McCoy.

I even dropped Kupp yesterday and grabbed T. Pollard. I wasn't sure I could drop a guy in the middle of a game and grab a free agent but it worked.

The funny thing is right after I dropped him he scored. Lol that was pretty amusing.

So I have a bench full of RB's just to block him, he's going with Bell/McCoy serious downgrade from Cook/Henry!

I'm pretty happy my Pats managed to pull the win. that was a hard fought battle and I certainly had my doubts!

They did come clutch in the 4th as they always do. I still can't believe Burkhead was able to stay/bounce on his feet after that double contact/tackle to give them the lead...crazy play, he was so determined ain't nobody was going to stop him score!!! I'm also glad that my pick against the Pats hit this week as i had Bills to score over 14.5. Team totals has been my go to bet as of late.

Well, even without Eldeman, Patriots are still holding up their own marching up and down the field. Bill's defense getting a crucial stop keeping it within 1 point instead of giving up the lead but damn, seems Josh Allen was struggling to get something going in towards the beginning and is picking it up pretty pick. Going to come down to defenses in my opinion.

Got a little bit of money the Rams just for the fun of it. I doubt they'll will but if they can pull off the upset, I like the odds.

Rams need this one or they are screwed so it should be a tough game but like you said, just for the fun of it. I can appreciate taking a gamvble. good luck.

To hell with the Pro Bowl we are watching the turnover bowl!

It's actually quite fun to witness this. Texans have been rather disappointing so far; every time I happen to watch them they suck. If I don't, they seem to be playing the greatest football ever. It's a strange team to me.

Curious what the Bills can do later. The game in Buffalo earlier this season was quite close, so lets see if the Patriots keep on struggling a bit.

I dropped the bills D 1 minute before the game and grabbed another RB off the wire just in case. I didn't like that new eagles rB B. Scott sitting there with my opponent not replacing D. Cook yet. I didn't want him to be able to play the bills D against me so I had to do it last second. Lol

I got lucky D. Cook is out this week. Smiley

He still has J. Witten, T. Lockett, L. McCoy and M. Gallup he can drop in flex.
Of course he has Lamar Jackson.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Just a few minutes into the Houston at Tampa Bay game and Winston already threw two interceptions, Houston got 10 points out of it and now they blocked a kick, this is looking like one of those days for Winston in which nothing goes right for him or his team.

For the game of the poll I picked the Eagles, no reason in particular except that maybe I would like Jerry Jones to rant about the loss.

But be glad DireWolfM14 as long as the 49ers are not facing a bird then their winning chances are 100% but if they do then it is just 40%. Grin

Lol, you just have to rub it in, huh?
Sorry, I could not help myself. Tongue

I really hope NE don't win the SuperBowl again as its getting boring seeing the same team play each year, its time for a change and this season we have many contenders. I have a futures bet on the Saints to win along with the Packers and Chiefs.
It is natural you are getting bored if the same team plays for three years in a row and you are not a fan of that team but when I read your comment the first thing that came to mind was the next video, it is really dumb but it makes lol whenever I see it.

I saw a list of players for this season's probowl. Casual fan's question, are the players who are going to play in the superbowl always going to risk injury to play in the probowl?
Pro Bowl players that are in the Superbowl are replaced with alternates. Pro bowl is basically touch ball now and pretty boring shit as no-one wants to get injured in it for nothing.

They used to hold the prowbowl after the Superbowl, so this wasn't an issue.  Back then players wouldn't hold back, and some would get injured.  It always seemed like a wast of energy and talent.  It's not like any of those guys are looking to impress anyone for a high-paying contract, most already had long-term contracts.

The prowbowl is a silly thing, the NFL just trying to squeeze all they can out of a season, and an excuse to go spend a week in Hawaii.  They realized that viewers mostly don't care, and they were getting shit ratings for viewership.  Then they got the idea to use it a gap-filler between Conference Championships and the Superbowl, which is when they decided to use alternates for the players who're going to the Superbowl.  So now you have this "ProBowl" and players from the two best teams in the league aren't represented.  I don't know many who watch it, let alone bet on it.

I can't see the Patriots making it to the SB this year.  I don't think they have enough offensive weapons to compete against the other top AFC teams.  But it is hard to count out Brady and Belichick.
Whether NE will make it to the SB or not will depend on several factors. They need to finish 13-3 and get a bye week since I believe that if you give Belichick a home game and two weeks of preparation he will find a way to exploit any weakness KC and Houston may have, if they do not and have to win two games on the road then you can count them out, this means their game against the Bills this Saturday is crucial for their aspirations.

Another Factor is Lamar Jackson’s health, if he is healthy then I do not think he can be stopped by the NE’s defence, but if he is not as mobile he will need to beat the NE’s defence with his arm and NE’s secondary is one of the best of the league.

Would have been a candidate for the Cowboys Wink

I've watched jackrabbit for a coue years game in and game out.  While most of the game he was fine if not great, there is always one or 2 miscues that are critical and most of the time it's because of his aggression.  I'm not saying he isnt a good player but in the ayoffs you cant have that one or 2 critical plays happen because you gamble on jumping the play.  His experience will definately be a plus for them though.

No doubt you want a great free safety behind him. They never get the accolades but a free safety is as important to a defense as the line is to the offense. Most overlooked position, strong safety gets the all out blitz sacks and hence the accolades, free safety just gets shit on when they make a miscue.

Giant fan here and that pickup is actually  a net negative.  Jenkins gets a lot of visibility because he is splashy.  But he risks too much going for the int.  One bad mistake and it's an easy td for the other team.  As a def coordinator you always have to have a safety on his side of the field which lessens the run defense.  A lot goes into why the giants cut him

I think he is still a good corner, but needs some talent around him. He is not going to be the anchor of a secondary nowadays and doesn't make his teammates better. But put him in some working construct and he will be a valuable piece. That very young Giants secondary just wasn't the right place anymore (apart from the off-field issues).

Any team that cut Janoris Jenkins for tweeting retarded shit is Retarded and deserve to be losers.

I think the Saints are heavily reliant on that #1 seed spot. I can't see them going into SEA/SF and winning there in some ultra-hostile environment. I don't know why, but I somehow don't trust their defense. They have the most potent offense from the Big3 (SF, SEA, NO), but their defense is missing that special factor; some nastyness maybe. They picked up Janoris Jenkins from waivers and thats a very good addition imo and will help them a lot in their secondary. But I don't think they are able to win them games. They can do enough to give teams trouble to keep up with the scoring of Brees, but playoffs are a different animal.

SF and SEA are more balanced in that regard. Seahawks under Wilson have always been very competitive and often surprised me, albeit not having the greatest talent around. They definitely have that special factor - on offense and on defense. The 49ers remind me very much about the 2007/2008 Giants. A team with a young-ish QB that is extremely hungry and just don't give af if they are playing at home or on the road. I actually think the 49ers are even more dangerous on the road. A whole stadium being against them seems to suit them just right and brings the best out of every player.

So I hope the Saints actually get that #1 spot as this will make for some great drama. And I hope SF will only get a wild card spot. I can see them getting back-to-back-to-back road wins @GB @NO @SEA and then meeting the Ravens in the SB taking revenge for that regualar season loss and being crowned NFL Champions come February.

Those are some bold predictions, but you lay out a logical case for them. I also haven't been especially impressed with the Saints defense, for the last 3-4 years. Its lining up to be an exciting finale to the season. Even though I think statistically the Pats have the best chance of winning it all, I actually would rather not see them in the Super Bowl again, like most of you.

Well I just dropped Brady to the Wire and grabbed Adrian Peterson as my opponent has Delvin Cook and I'd hate to lose to a hail mary!

I'm also toying with the idea of sitting Edleman, he's really banged up and the Bill D is the real deal.
I'm sure he will be double teamed all day.

Short week for the Saints, coming off an emotional game Monday night with Brees breaking the all time TD record.  Trap game maybe?

Not that short, only one day, no thursday game this week, we have some on saturday but NO is playing sunday. Its interesting that I have both tannerhill and Brees on my team this week. Basically I just have him as a blocker.
