Weird that I had a browser crash right after I had written a small paragraph on why I thought the Rams would take that one and was too lazy to rewrite it after the recover. Basically it was because I have been watching Locket slowly stop producing and was looking at that as a leading indicator with W00ds on the surge and boy did he PEAK! I played W00ds and Kupp and If Barkley can put some about 8 more points today I can squeak a win.

Low scoring game today, giants just don't want to shut the door.
They are giving the Eagles all the chances they need to come back.

Added: Well that game sucked the giants just stopped playing. Barkley cost me the week again as well, but i think I'm still in the plaoffs.

In any case, the Steelers might be desperate to win versus the Bills next week to be closer in getting a wild card spot. If they win, will they beat -2.5?

The Eagles' remaining games are all division games and with that said getting the division win is their best shot at qualifying since the Cowboys are on a rough streak as well.

They'll probably win today and if they win the rest i'm still not certain they could edge out the Cowboys on the division tiebreaker. It would be soul crushing for the Cowboys and their fans if they fall short in the last few weeks and can't make it in the playoffs.

I'm jumping on the eagles handicap but took it down to at least a touchdown (-6.5 for 1.6).

Edit : It's already looking like a loss for the Eagles as they currently trail by 14 points in the third.

That was actually a very nice play as well - and very important one. The king of dragging defenders all over the field surely is Gronkowski though, don't know if there was ever a guy that was so hard to be brought down But Kittle still has some years left to challenge Gronk for that title.

Every season I have some teams I am rooting for apart from the Giants and this year it's definitely the 49ers. I just like what they are doing overall and I always enjoyed watching good defenses, it's a thing of beauty.

That was hilarious.  When Tannehill made that tackle I though to myself, look at that tightend hitting like a linebacker.  Only it wasn't a tightend, lol.  That was the best play of the day for the Raiders, otherwise they looked like shit.  What a disappointing final season for Oakland, I feel bad for all my East Bay friends.

Funny to see Nutildah's poll in hind-sight.  80% of us (including me) picked Seattle.  80% of us were wrong.  The most surprising thing was the Lamb's D kept Seattle's offense from scoring a TD.

Went 1-1 with my pre-match bets on 49ers and Panthers yesterday. That 49ers game was so exciting so watch, with both teams firing on all cylinders offensively. Panthers were pure garbage and so was my bet.

Had a parlay at halftime with Tampa ML and Dolphins ML for odds of 8+. Dolphins were in the red zone with 2 minutes left, but they got very conversative with their play calling and weren't able to get another first down and run the clock down to kick the game winning FG with time expiring. Instead they left around 1:40 on the clock for the Jets, which was enough for them to make that game winning FG themselves. That last drive from the Jets was helped by a reviewed defense PI, which gave them a first down instead of 4th&17 and would have most likely won me that parlay. Dolphins had 7 made FG's (out of 8, one was missed) in that game and it was the most FG's ever made in a single game by the Dolphins.

MNF will be interesting to see what Eli can still do. Giants are a hot mess and with DJ under center, I would have probably took my chances with HC on the Eagles. But with the return of Eli anything can happen, so no bet for me.

I might be biased being a giant fan but I think 9 points is pretty big.  Eli is gonna be amped up for what might be the last game he plays in a giant uniform and against the eagles on prime time.  I can see a shootout in this one.  Eagles 31 giants 27

Agreed, the game was amazing not because there were a lot of points on the scoreboard, what we saw was two SB contenders going at it with everything they had, they used all their tricks to try to win the game leaving nothing in store since they both knew that whoever won this game most likely will be the first seed during the playoffs, the game was so good that if a SF dynasty begins we can easily point to this game and say this was when it all started.

After that game I stand corrected. 

Big game for the Eagles tonight.  if they win out they make the playoffs.  They have one more game against the Cowboys at home which very well determine the division winner.

Eli Manning is expected to get the start.  Can he upset the Eagles and their playoff bid?

Eagles are 9 point favourites at home, total is 44.5.

The best game I have watched all season.  They have a big test at the end of the season against the Seahawks in Seattle the final week of the season. Could very well be for the division and #1 seed through the playoffs.

Looks like the Rams are going to win this one, 28-9 with 11 mins to go in the 4th. 

My calls get a lot better toward the end of the season. Last year I called all 7 of the post season games, including the Super Bowl. Will probably plunk some BTC down on a game next week.

My fantasy team crushed it this week and my QB still has yet to play.

SF has Atlanta next week, then the Lambs the following week, both at home.  There's a good chance they'll sweep those two games.  I certainly hope the game in Seattle is for nothing but bragging rights, because the Gulls scare me. 

If the Niners win the next two, and Seattle loses tonight and at least one more game in the next two weeks, the Niners will take Home Field Advantage, and week 17 would be meaningless.  Otherwise the 9ers need to win in Seattle just to hold onto the west title.  If they split their series and have a tie record, it would fall to tie-breakers, which I believe the 9ers would win.  If Seattle wins both games in the series, and they have tie record, Seattle takes the west title.

Both the Saints and the Packers would lose a tie-breaker with the 9ers by virtue of head-to-head records.

Spoiler alert.

I assume the road is clear for San Francisco to win the rest of the regular season and make the Seahawks play for the right to be on top of NFC west on their final game.

It's gonna be close, I'll need Barkley, Kupp and w00ds to go off.

I would have figured the opposite with Brees throwing for 349 yards and 5 TDs.  Does your fantasy league put more emphasis on wins than individual stats?  Anyway, it looks like Brady is having a dismal day, I hope he pulls through for you.
