^Prime example of Eth scammers spamming the speculation forum.  When Bitcoin goes up 5%, alts go down like 10% or more.  I'm sure you're praying Bitcoin doesn't go up to completely implode your Eth scam, but that's what's going to happen.

The last time Bitcoin went up 4%, all alts slaughtered.  Read it and weep scammers:

Eth scammers are spamming the speculation section like mad now.  They know that when BTC goes up for the halving, Eth is going to crater so hard that people's windows will explode on their houses.

My gambling take:

Its so obvious that the halving is already priced in. You should stop spamming that same rhetoric over and over! Around halving day the BTC prices will be half of what it is now.  You are going to be destroyed when bitcoin goes under 440 and crashes hard and ETH goes at an all time HIGH.

Anyway, I agree with TPTB, long term both are SHIT as ETH is basically a scam and BTC is just digital fiat with potential worse controling outcomes that today fiat system

At least with monero we have a bit of financial privacy

Funny to watch you guys argue like gamblers. No one in crypto has a sound technical fundamental basis. There is no block chain technology that is technically+game theory sound. Even Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED.

BTC price wont increase much further, the halving hype is already included in since it was 2-300$, since halving was no secret. It may actually get much lower after the halving after all the hopes of getting rich quickly fade.

When something has no fundamentals and is being prosthelytized by shady people nobody has ever heard of that don't even understand how the coin works saying it's going to "beat Bitcoin", then yea, I consider those scammers because it's not possible for it to happen.

Maybe stop name calling and get a clue. Roll Eyes

What would you like me to call you instead of a scammer?  "cancerous asset entrepreneur"?

Eth scammers keep wandering into BTC halving threads claiming the halving will have no effect on price (HAHA).  This coin is full of dishonest, lying scammers.  They know that once Eth dumps past a certain point (around 0.015 or so), it's going to be a bloodbath.  In the past couple of days, their buy support has gone from 8000 to 6500 BTC.  The next BTC jump will take it to 4000-5000 support, then the BTC jump after that will completely implode Eth.  You can't prop up an artificial bubble with no fundamentals forever.

So much FUD now you wanna talk about the effect of Bitcoin halving.

No it will not have an effect the day of, since the halving is predictable and already anticipated for.

You could say the communities will be more active, pumping up the price, but it is likely not much will happen because people already prepared.

If it was random and no one knew when it was happening, then sure that would have an effect.

The Shitcoiner's Guide to Shitcoin Logic

This is a handy guide for those who are sick and tired of technical arguments. Don't be the victim of technowizardry and logic, don't let the cryptocurrency world be ruled by math, fuck math! Math is for eggheads and dorks and no future is going to be dictated by protocols. Cryptocurrency is easy and a good marketing plan and these helpful techniques will be all you'll need to put nerds on standby and rocket your shitcoin to the moon and beyond.

#1. No matter how dire the warning from those technobabling nerds sound, they can be easily refuted with one word--JEALOUSY. Say it often and say it proud and don't let their theoretical arguments get in the way of you and your rightful shitcoin future. If they tell you the algowhateverthingy is broken, say "These blankcoin motherfuckers have been saying that for months and look, our coin is still alive and stronger than ever! They're just jealous that (our coin is ahead of them on coinmarketcap.com) or (our coin has twice the innovation as that has-been and every day we're eating into their market cap)." If you can work SCARED and JEALOUS into the same post, all the better.

So far you continue to be proven wrong in every possible way.

Proven wrong about what?  You think because Eth hasn't crashed to below zero value that this thread is wrong?  Markets can remain irrational for long periods.

The real world stock market example of Ethereum:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-07-07/market-top-meet-1-billion-company-zero-revenues

The only difference is, bankers were mad they missed the launch of BTC, so they utilized Vitalik as a useful idiot figurehead and bought a large amount of this fundamentally broken coin and pumped it with the R3 group.  Now bankers are bag holding a billion dollars worth of useless coin that they thought they could challenge BTC with.

Will be interesting to see the next flavor of the month bubble after this $martcontract$ bubble dies.  The tape will probably rewind back to anonymity coins bubble again at some point in time.  Decentralized storefront related coins have surprisingly had no bubble activity at all.  It's the equivalent of internet in 1990, no business had any clue of how or why they would want to have an internet store.

Why must I repeat myself every new reader who can't find what I wrote a dozen times in the past. So make it 13 times? 14 times? 100 times? How would I ever code if I spend all my time repeating myself.
...
I'll get around to writing that white paper when it makes sense in my priorities.
...
I did before Blockstream did and I dismissed the design.
...
I have the design already.

I was great and strong.

People who meet me on the street would shy to one side and I would pass through a crowd like a flat iron.

My feet would often be kissed, but I didn't protest: I knew I deserved it. Why deprive people of the pleasure of honouring me?
I myself, being extraordinarily lithe of body, even tried to kiss myself on my own foot. I sat on a bench, got hold of my right foot and pulled it up to my face. I managed to kiss the big toe.
I was happy.
I understood the happiness of others.

Everyone worshipped me!
And not only people, but even beasts, and even various insects crawled before me and wagged their tails.
And cats! They simply adored me and, somehow gripping each other's paws, would run in front of me whenever I was on the staircase.

Talk about long winded. This dude topped that in one sentence.
