Yeah, they run fine on Windows 7. Similar to most other ASICs you'll need to install the usb drivers using Zadig, but that is all that's needed to get mining with cgminer.
For cgminer arguments, I always run --hfa-fan 100 --hfa-temp-overheat 103, and usually start at --hfa-hash-clock 500 or so to check thermals, and then bump it up to 850 or so while watching the temps.

We'll be posting up a step by step guide over the weekend here that will go over running the board under Windows and Linux as well as doing a firmware update, etc.
I PM'd you your order info, BTW.

I should have all parts by Tuesday looks like.

Are we shooting for 600 GH/S with these boards?
I've been running the production ones I have a hair under 650GH/s primarily due to cooling issues. I am using Swiftech H220 which is a great cooler (IMO), but the 55CFM max fans are just a little weak. The H220 isn't available in the US (patent dispute with ASEtek), but apparently the Coolermaster Glacier 240l is the same cooler with the pump running a little faster and some 86CFM fans.

My backplates should be here today (all of the retail ones that went have them attached already), so I'll post a bunch of pictures of my setup on the website and link them here.

Ill definitely give it a shot when I get home. One board at 440 and the other at 350.
Do you think using the stock fans on the H100i may be part of the reason why my hash rate is a little low? Hopefully your tool will help me with my other problem of tightening the pump onto the chips.
The problem is cgminer, the old versions don't have the --hfa-hash-clock command and forces the cards to run at 550MHz (~400GH/s)

There's a couple tools that will be coming out. One is a generic HF tool that allows the voltage to be set, while the other provides stats for the Habaneno. Let me ping Gateway on our program, I know he was making some changes to it but I think they were primarily cosmetic.

I got the following instructions on updating minepeon on the RPi from TK1337. Would they still work for updating the HF version of minepeon with the newest cgminer?

sudo systemctl stop miner
cd ~
wget http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/cgminer-4.2.0.tar.bz2
tar -xvf cgminer-4.2.0.tar.bz2
cd cgminer-4.2.0
sudo ./configure --enable-Hashfast
sudo make
mv /opt/minepeon/bin/cgminer /opt/minepeon/bin/cgminerOld
mv cgminer /opt/minepeon/bin/cgminer
sudo systemctl start miner

Optional to delete the CGMiner directory after moving the binary out & delete the zip file you downloaded:
Code: [Select]
cd ~
sudo rm -rf cgminer-4.2.0
sudo rm -rf cgminer-4.2.0.tar.bz2
I don't see why not, but I am not sure if there anything unique about the HF image. I can try it later when I get home (and see if 4.3.4 work, as well).

In preparation for the habanero arriving tomorrow, I got my Raspberry Pi out and put minepeon on it.

I went here:

http://hashfast.com/how-to-update-babyjets-raspberry-pi-sd-card-software/

and pulled down the latest version of hashfast's minepeon and put it on my flash card.  Its loaded up and running now. Status page says I'm running 0.2.4.3hf8

I haven't attached a miner yet, but I'm seeing the raspberry pi restart about every 5 minutes.

I had 2.4.6 the minepeon project running before pulling down hashfast's minepeon. 2.4.6 was not restarting regularly on its own.

Is this expected? Is there a way to resolve this issue?

I think one board is suffering from DA.

Dumb Ass customer !

No more errors, both hashing now.

I'm sure I need to do dome tweaking to tune them into full capacity.

Thanks again for the assistance.

Its good to hear! I should be releasing our tool that shows you each die temp and hopefully will help anyone to provide the proper pressure on each screw for the cooling head.  Also I do personally recommend to use later versions of cgminer because they have commands and lots of fixes that have been fine tuned for HF devices which includes the Habanero over the last few months, and esp being able to set the clock speed, and fix any of the reset errors that happen.

Bingo!

Got both working now. Tightened down pump some more on the non-working board and it works. However I musty have tightened the first working board a little much as I lost a little power.

Yes, Same version of minepeon.

So we're on the same page here, what version of the HF Minepeon Image are you using? The one I found on their website is hashfast-minepeon-1.0, which is running cgminer 3.9.0h2. Is there something newer floating around?

Thank you for the support Me Teal, I really appreciate it.
No worries, make sure to post or email us if you have any issues. We try and do as much as we can, but there's a whole lot of hardware combinations out there to support and there are a lot that we won't be able to test so if there are teething pains we want to get them resolved as quickly as possible.
