Close, but not the final count, We should actually get more TAO than listed on the spreadsheet because more people were removed.. the average user is listed as getting between 2k-4k right now.... 3,000,000/4000= 750 participants.. and the spreadsheet has 562... so that would leave 750,000 TAO
Not quite true I think. The TAO tokens for each participant are calculated by a formula and are not a percentage of a predefined amount of tokens. Less people on the list simply means a smaller total supply of tokens.
One one hand this means that the fewer tokens there are the more every individual token will be worth. On the other this also means less people in the community and this might make it harder for us to build something good and popularize it. Then again most of the removed accounts were bots, alts, idlers and fuders so they wouldn't have been much help anyway.
Would like to know if that's true actually.
I've always assumed we had an established supply of 3 million because of the formula.
