No one gets to gamble for the loss, of course we all hope for the win. But since in gambling the house has always an advantage and they always win, so we can't expect chances of winning all the time. Especially that gambling is based on pure luck, so if it turns out that we don't have the luck that time we gamble, then losing is very possible.

Well, i mostly gamble in sports too, though i did not win all the time, but the fact that we get to see our favorite teams, we also got to enjoy the game. Gambling i believe is made to entertain us, not totally for money matters, but if we wins, i guess its a bonus.

i guess we are guilty also of such attitude at one point in our gambling life. so more then likely, most of us know that kind of feeling. it is indeed up to the gambler to what extent he will follow his desires.

All of us do, we are just humans and always tempted to go further, thinking this could be a different outcome, I have different outcomes where I won a lot but this is rare, you cannot put your trust in fate and hope will favor you.

You have to put your fate on yourself stop when it's the right time to stop and only play with money that you can lose, we have on a thread about our fellow member who lose hard earn money allocated to pay his debts, and this is a hard pill to swallow.

Self-discipline is something difficult to master, we must recognize that even if our aim is to have fun while we gamble it is obvious that we are going to like it when we win, and it is very difficult to quit when you are ahead because people cannot stop thinking that since they got lucky once they my get lucky again and they keep gambling, it is because of this that I set limits in terms of the amount I am willing to lose in each session while I also set up a limit in the amount of time I will gamble, and as soon as one of those limits is reached I stop gambling immediately.

There is a problem here in that people (at least addicts) play not in order to achieve some goal of "winning 100 thousand dollars" but for the sake of the process itself. It turns out that even after winning a large amount, they continue to play because this is their main goal and not money. Such people need therapy to shift the focus of their desires to something else. They literally need to learn to enjoy other activities.

Does gambler at any stage times to leave gambling for good? or gambler remains gamblors for good?
Or is gambling a happy activity? I mean some of the hobbies and habits are very challenging. But my question is does it bring back good memories and is it something one can cherish in future?
