I think 95% of them are scams. It's literally free money to those creating them. Have there been a few decent ones here and there? Sure. But I stopped touching them for the most part in 2017. I find most people make money as soon as they end up on exchanges and everyone tries to sell before everyone else. That's not an investment, its just poorly executed arbitrage.

At the time when ICOs was the order of the crypto day, that was when geniue projects comes in and end successfully, but when the projects became too many that one can hardly see the good from the bad, it started wearing down. Lots of investors who lost their money at the end of the day will not even look at the idea of ICO. I am an altcoin enthusiast, but worked with lots of these ICOs without receiving my pay at the end. IEO is now more safer to all, mostly, the investors. Thanks.

Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?
I see very good if like that, but who will verify them? can it be trusted too? now again the hype is also token ICOs like in 2018 back then only now with the uniswap platform.
I'm sure there are also many scammers there because there are so many tokens they make and auto listings on Uniswap. still, we must be careful in taking investment steps, do not let our money be given to scammers.

but the problem is that ICO's reputation has been negatively viewed by most investors and their communities. Hundreds of ICO projects only benefit themselves by deceiving their victims through funding at ICO. I think what needs to be done first is to restore the trust of investors and their communities.
you are right. if there is a sale that is well known or back in popularity at the moment, I'm sure it's IEO, not ICO. Well, we know that the advantages of IEO are more than ICO, and the market is also quite clear. however, quite a lot of people have been disappointed with ICO, and when ICO returns, I think investors will still think hard to invest there.

I think ICO is not a bad thing if it is managed by good people. However, since a lot of fraud occurred at ICO, investors have switched to IEO. Before 2018, there was no IEO, maybe there was but not as excited as now. But ICO is the success of all projects, and we can now see tokens in many exchanges. I think for the time being it is very difficult to develop ICO.
ICO reputation has been threatened and most who manage ICO are is the scammers and that it's makes many investors no longer trust ICO. IEO is now a good solution because the level of fraud is very small and makes many investors comfortable or safe. the ICO heyday is over and I think it's possible will not to come back again. it's just in my opinion and correct my words if I'm wrong.

The trusted ico can recover the reputation of ico that has already ruined by the scammers but it can be done when this ico came from the trusted team and backed by so many big parties. AFAIK there were some icos were sold instantly too and that means the chance will always there.

The 10X, 20X and more is possible, the issue is that it takes time, the time for you to get this return on investment is getting longer and this is something we need to have at the back of our mind when investing now. Some people feel that Crypto is a quick scheme to get rich, sometimes it is true but this is changing

I have to be honest with you that the ICO project is over and will not come back. That's a reality that must be accepted, because now investors
more interested in IEO projects. Which is more desirable because IEO projects directly listing on exchanges, making it easier for investors in
sell coins. And also IEO projects more easily determine good projects, we only need to choose IEO projects that are listed on exchanges the
popular one. It is different from ICO projects which sometimes cannot be listed on any exchanges.

I don't think many investors that had a bad time some years ago would want this idea, it ruined a lot of them when most projects exited scam, the only trust and trusted way now is fund raising through initial exchange Offering especially when conducted through reliable exchanges.
It clearly that the investors scammed through ICOs wont dare to invest in any ICO projects but if you look at the bounty section you'll see that some projects still use ICO but in a tricky means and i hope some investors are knowledgeable enough to understand this.
With that been said, in my own understanding IEO doesnt save investors from scam either because investors can be scam through various method (through whitepaper, roadmap, project team skipping of promise, delay of exchange listing etc.) and it also good for investors to understand the genuine commitments of the project teams.

Whatever ICO or IEO, invester is only focus on profit.
Where is benfit , investment will go to there.
Maybe right because 95% of all investors are after profit but not all cause some investors are after project that offer something different and accept their fate if profit dont come along with it.

I think ICO will come back. After all, IEO is controlled by exchange itself, different exchange refuse other exchange's IEO project. Till now,
ICOs never exit in the first place, it just investors never trust in ICO project again. However, Im curious cause i never see any exchange that refuse others exchange IEO project.

all(most of) IEO project is rubbish, do you know any IEO project become a great project?

ICO will return back with new menthod, in the future, we can see it happening on polkdot again.
Then you misunderstand the purpose of IEO cause an IEO doesnt guarantee the success level of a project but investors assurance so investors are do proper research about the future promising level of the project before investing.

Afternoon. I absolutely share your views here. And talking about you, are there many promising tokens and platforms you are now following and can recommend? I only have 2 or 3 most advanced ones I am aware of, so always interesting to get a real recommendation

Hey. I wouldn't say that we can be talking about all altcoins at once. From my point of view, much depends on the concrete platform/token and its particular prospects. And it is important to differentiate. Because again, only own and concrete analysis allows to get an objective overview

ICOs have gotten a bad reputation for the past 2 years because of many scam projects and IEOs are becoming more attractive to buyers and sellers because there is a growing number of exchanges which are building their own token launch platforms. Anything can happen but I personally believe ICOs are not going to hit market as they did back in 2017 but still a promising project can attract investors.

ICO fund raising is long gone and it ain't coming back, new project team are now smarter, they know that using ICO will only give negative vibe to their project, where as IEO is the only fundraising strategy that investors trust since 2019, ICO is dead

I think with the ico return, it proves that altcoin can still be made for safe and secure investment media. at this time many new ico have emerged with more accurate projects, we as altcoin enthusiasts should help advance the project and provide full support.besides that at this time there are many things that we can look for or dig deeper information because now altcoin has many people who know him and cooperate with the altcoin project.

Can you at least name some of the ICO you believe has an accurate projects? And do you think they'll be successful in raising funds based on their target?

Sorry, but I really have no hope for ICO anymore now that we already have IEO which is more successful and we have exchanges like Binance who make IEO projects successful.
