Not every project has the ability to have real support from rated cryptocurrency exchanges in order to conduct an IEO. This is why ICOs still have a chance to exist. If there are real opportunities to protect investors and certain guarantees, then the opinion about the ICO will change very quickly.
ICOs are good if the projects are reputable and have many partners. I believe that investors will fully trust and invest in them. But if small and shady projects carry out an ICO then I believe they will never reach their goals because it's too dangerous for investors.
Any project that's good enough can use ICO or any other crowdfunding ways to raise money and still become successful, what's more important is the utility of the project not the fundraising strategy they want to use

although like that not all IEOs can become a place for safe investment because some cases of IEO in some new exchange sites cannot be profitable and sometimes there is also a scam, the point is when you want to participate in an IEO then you have to find a trusted exchange place like Binance exchange .

I'm not sure that ICOs are dead forever, but they surely are for now.Perhaps as time will pass, scammers will forget about ICOs, but real developers won't quit it and investors eventually will come back to it too
Projects are raising money successfully using IEO, if you don't know well ICO was ruined because of many exit scam that happened two years ago, we still have good investors on big exchanges, I don't see any reason to keep hoping for ICO to make a come back.
Without a doubt, it is the number of scams in ICO that made it fizzle out. However, it will take a very long time to get back investor confidence to ICO. But the switch to IEO is really providing another option for projects to raise funds. Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?
I read your post again but still don't see why ICO ever comeback as a way to raise money in crypto when right now, IEO work better that it. If they have all the advance well-vetted and trusted by the community then maybe but IEO still a preference for many of us now.

Although the ICO was once considered a common practice, various forms of fraud and deception gradually led to the invention of the IEO, and through it projects now raise the funds they need. However, I do not think that investors will be interested in re-investing in ICO, so the chances of ICO returning are very low.
Investors from past failed ICOs already learned their lesson and I think even ICOs make a comeback it might hard to convince the investors to trust and engage themselves again. If you experience getting scam or lose your hard earned money then you're wiser now to not trust easily and only invest to a reliable investment.

I think the current project developer don't make more ICO projects, because that would only be a failed project. Investors or public Crypto have no longer trusted in ICO projects since 2018, where in that year there many scams on ICO projects. Yes, investors will not be interested anymore to reinvest in ICO, because they have also found better than ICO and have felt a lot of disappointment about the fraud that had happened in ICO in the past, so because of this ICO has been very difficult to return like the old days.

Your reasoning is very precise I think, of course investors don't want to be fooled repeatedly in ICO, ICO is already very bad in the eyes of investors and of course investors will prefer IEO of the ICO

Since there is still a lot of fraud in the cryptocurrency market and there is no control over new projects, so that the developments bear at least some responsibility to investors, no one will repeat the mistakes of 2016 and 2017, risking their own funds. just forget about ICO and avoid it, I personally am also not interested in ICO anymore after many ICO scams have appeared, and make investors and communities no longer trust

Only scammer create ICO projects at the moment, for new projects I believe they will try to go to IEO even if it is a small exchange in this market.

I agree with you. ICO investments can never be sure of anything because risks can happen at any time. I usually do not care about this type of investment because the risk is huge and I do not dare to be sure of anything when investing.
