No matter how good it is, what makes me pessimistic about ICO is "there is no 100% guarantee to enter the market". different from IEO which is guaranteed to be listing. if it is associated with a pandemic now surely people choose which is more certain to be profitable than trying luck.
Exchange listing basically makes sense. Cause the more advanced exchange is, the more carefully tokens are chosen. I would say that as for advanced and worthwhile solutions I am only following Centric with their CNR and CNS tokens. Guys are bringing first of its kind dual crypto-currency payment network and CNS token will be listed on Bittrex on 28 of July. It's not true as that depends how the personality can try to handle it. Remember everyone should always DYOR to make sure they will not invest in the scam project. There was a lot of successful icos and ieos. That meant the possibility to get the trusted one will always there

If you look at the statistics 99% of all ICOs are not profitable or scams. So if 1 ICO from 100 is profitable, then you need at least 100x profit from it. Think about it, now it doesn´t make a sense to invest into ICOs, wait for better market sentiment and then you will see the true ICO power.

I believed some of the projects will survive and be successful in this market. I understand why would you say that because most of the projects are just scam or cash grab for the developers, that doesn't mean all of the project are scam. Investing in ICOs is suicide, don't waste money on these projects.
Unless you really have an insider's coming from the team who are developing this project, or being part of private investor just need some luck that the team will enlist the project so whatever happened you'll have the chance to still earned.
Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?
beyond fund raising for startups, it has other in betweens that are yet to be addressed. People take advantage of the ICO structure to raise funds and still allow investors to face maximum risk at the end of the day. ICO can be revisited after these pending challenges are addresses.

That's the risk, because even the coin get the to be listed the value mostly being dumped, early investors from the private sales are cashing out their profits.

I have seen a few successful ICOs this year, but they have lots of partners and investors. If the ICOs do not have a partner and do not have many investors, it is best to never participate in it 
Since there is still a lot of fraud in the cryptocurrency market and there is no control over new projects, so that the developments bear at least some responsibility to investors, no one will repeat the mistakes of 2016 and 2017, risking their own funds. If investors have at least some guarantees, then the ICO may have certain prospects, but there is no such process today.
Yes, I also think IEO is mist better than ICO. Where there is a score to make decisions about. This is the new era of IEO instead of ICO to investing and trading on such good projects. Specially i have lots of worst experience of ICO with their false road map and structures. So, really it's time of IEO.
Before investing in an IEO you should always check on which exchange they are hosting it as there are many low end exchanges which are also hosting IEO these days, also by paying a small amount of premium above the listing fees they also get inflated ratings by the IEO rating websites which also attract more people towards that scam and getting listed on these platforms is also pretty easy as well so that also increases the chances of getting scammed or getting false promises just like old ICO days when exit scamming was a common day to day thing to see.

I don't think that ICOs will be back. In 2017-2018 the ICOs awere highly popular. But due to lots of exit scams a lots of investors lost a huge amount of money. So at this moment people don't trust icos. But still few icos are still successful but the number is very few. The few form of investment has come to market. The ieos. And it's more trustworthy. Atleast you don't lose all your money. And if the ieo is in a big platform like binance or kucoin you will surely make a huge amount of profit. So for this reason I think it's hard to come back that for a huge ico market.

In a new form? That's acceptable but ICO itself ? Nope, because everything about ICO is dead and gone mate, something very close to ICO can rise up and do better but ICO have done all it could, scammers made new projects abandoned ICO fund raising, too many million dollars were lost, I remember One coin and Bitconnet perfectly

I don't think ico will ever return or not to the point and same level they operate back in 2017, now the crypto space have advanced more and so is the people, maybe there will be other method of fund raising coming out, ieo already taking over, many project now are mostly conducting ieo to raise funds which many people regard as a bit safer than ico, any project doing ico now don't usually get enough support as before, so it is better to do what is best for the project.
