Nope I disagree with this, the amount of time doesn't really affect it, for me it is the amount that counts.
You could spend less time but play with a higher amount, or you could spend more hours but spend less if you just want to enjoy.
It sounds like a superstition, for me it isn't really the amount of time but the amount of money that you spend which could lead or be the reason why they would call you a gambling addict.

The amount of time spent gambling does have an effect. That doesn’t mean the amount of money used in playing doesn’t count. Both the time spent in playing and the money spent are both important to look out for whenever you’re playing.
When you’ve spent more time playing than already planned, there is a high probability that you’ll also spend more money than you bargained for. If you spend more time playing, you’re also likely to spend more money that you didn’t plan to spend as well. It’s that simple. Best to set a time and perhaps an amount limit and stick to it.

You can't really do that though because you're going to have a problem with your gambling if you force yourself to budget your time in gambling. Like all the others have already said, it's better if you're managing your money/bankroll when gambling rather than your time because time is intangible unlike money so you have a hard time trying to bend the rules when you're managing your money compared to your time plus you're spending less money if you're focused on bankroll management rather than time management.
I also think so. This is something that OP should focus on managing rather than time. In some cases, time may have a slight impact if you play for too long; it could affect your alertness and decision-making. However, a gambler's significant losses mostly come from the mismanagement of their money. In a moment of high spirits, they might gamble away all their money in one round, right?
So, whether you play a lot or a little doesn't influence the outcome much. Furthermore, emotional management alongside money management is also a crucial factor to consider and emphasize. Unstable emotions, easily swayed by winning or losing bets, can lead to decisions based on instinct and emotion rather than reason.

Shorting your play time in gambling is the best strategy in gambling, apart from knowing how to manage your bankroll, don't spend too much time on a casino game, the longer the time you spent the more you lose, this is the truth that many gamblers won't accept at first until they realize it later.

For them it's about your addiction, and that's what brings in more money, and I am here to announce to you that time fixation is also a good way in gambling, spending 20 minutes in casino a day is better than someone who spend 1 hour.

Although your suggestion is Wright, but sometimes our emotions plays a big role in our lives. If you can't control your emotion you can't control your time. Because when ever your emotion I'd working time has nothing to do. Although the time and emotion works together but I think it's your emotion that control the time because there will be a point in time when you loss more often and you choose to continue until you win without considering the time countdown and it will definitely affect you.

Op, i also realized that you are saying the truth. It's always advisable to spend shorter time cause the more time you spend, the more you'll feel addiction with gambling and thus will make you place more bets than usually. Although a gambler need to spend some time for analysis perpose also. Just place a bet within short time, will less your winning possibilities and nobody want to lose. But we should set the time limit IMHO. And i think its better to do job or business and take gambling as fun. Thus you'll automatically get less time to spend for Gambling. Otherwise only doing gambling could make anyone addiction in it which could be risky & badly affect in anyone's life

OP what if the said gambler continuing winning in that 1 hour he or she spends their, is it also advisable for such gambler to retire for day, let's say that it is advisable, will such gambler accept to go for the day when he or she knows that everyday is not a lucky day for a gambler, setting an amount for the day as a gambler is very excellent, this can only happen when a gambler is not always winning because as gambler if you make fortunes, you will like to target high unless you are this kind of person that is contented with what you have gotten so far, but with what I know is only few gamblers that are disciplined, avoiding too much expenses can only be done by a gambler who is not an addict, he or she will have to develop a habit of self control to maintain this decorum.

You imply that there is such a thing as luck, but that's a sphere of superstition. If you set yourself a 1 hour limit, then stick to the limit and enjoy your profits. Making assumptions that you would keep winning after that 1 hour just because you feel it's your "lucky day" is based on nothing more than wishful thinking. Stay disciplined.

That's assuming that hypothetical winning streak is not due to some glitch that shifts the edge to your side, in such case it would be a whole different story.

If you want to have fun with gambling, you can spend long time with $0.05 in every game you played.

If you want to gamble for money, you can use martingale strategy but it can be a way to lose huge amount of money. Do not go beyond your weekly budget.
No matter how small amount you use to gamble, if you gamble for a long time and gamble regularly, you will become addicted to gambling and you will not be able to stop gambling for a while. And when you see that you can win small amount bets, you will want to bet a big amount to win big amount, thus you will miss in gambling in a way that you don't even understand. And this addiction will harm you a lot.  So you should never gamble for a long time regardless of your bet amount. It is always better to gamble with less time

This is why it is better to set a limit on your money as well as have a target price to make a profit and leave. If people start from a small amount they wouldn't mind continuing as they think it is just a small loss but in a long period if they lose track of time as well their loss, they will get addicted. Being exposed to gambling for a long time would make you think that it's normal to stake your money, for sure once you are in the game you wouldn't even think of quitting unless you are already drained. Even if you can say that you are in control of your emotions, still there's a feeling for a gambler to not yield early even after losing already huge amounts, cause for sure even hundreds and thousands could be gone in just a single round of gambling.

You should be considering both, time and money. There's a reason they say that time is your most precious asset, as it's something you can't buy.
Many people fall into the trap of focusing on money only and end up spending long hours on something that brings them very little profit (if any), not noticing that they're effectively earning peanuts per hour.
If you consider gambling to be entertainment and therefore don't mind spending your time on it, then I guess it's fine (although not necessarily healthy).
It is absolutely true that time and money must always be paid attention to and become valuable thing by protecting or using it as well as possible so as not to have negative impacts that can occur when time and money are not managed well.
Indeed, time is valuable asset because it cannot be bought and when managed well, time can produce quite valuable profits and uses.
Likewise, when someone does not manage their time well, they will only experience problems, difficulties and negative impacts.
We all know that managing money and time has often been discussed and must be able to be done by everyone, especially in gambling activities. By managing money and time, gambler can avoid losing streaks or even gambling addiction.
Although this is not guarantee, there is pressure to minimize the occurrence of these things.
Everything they do is in accordance with the goals and approach they have taken towards gambling, maybe they can accept all losses for long time in gambling but there are also those who cannot accept defeat even though they have only gambled for short time in one game or betting session.
The size of the money used is also very influential in this matter.
Spending time and money gambling? Please be honest. We realize time is irreplaceable. A gambler? All about control. Losing track of time is a bad sign. I think prudent gaming respects time and money. Then, cash flow. Simple: bet within your means. This is clever and necessary. People chase losses, putting good money after bad. Its a slippery slope that leads to trouble.

Finally, belief. Gamblers typically believe "Im due a win". Nope. Each stake is separate. Knowing this is vital. Knowing the odds and playing wisely is more important than taking losses for years or not processing them. Play safely, stay smart, and remember gambling is a hobby, not a job.

Setting a winning target in the gambling that we play will indeed make us unable to enjoy the game that we play and also that we only hunt for victory so that we use the wrong strategy in the game that we play and experience defeat at the gambling.
Limiting ourselves when gambling is very important because this can prevent us from becoming addicted to gambling and also we will not be greedy when gambling so that we don't use too much money for gambling and also we can enjoy the winnings that we have obtained in gambling.
This will make us feel uncomfortable when gambling because there is a target that we have to achieve when we gamble. It's better for us to gamble casually and not have any targets because when we gamble we also have no goal other than getting pleasure. But there are still many gamblers who try to achieve their targets in gambling, which causes them to make many mistakes and end up losing when gambling.

Yes, limiting gambling is very important because that is what can prevent us from many problems that could arise later. We have to take care of ourselves while gambling and don't gamble for too long because that can cause us to lose self-control and also lose our money. If we can enjoy gambling comfortably, we have to remember when we have to stop gambling so that we don't get lost in the fun of gambling.

From the statement you made, I think it's better to choose to spend less time and money, both must be balanced because as you said that it was very valuable and could not be purchased and I thought the perspective of money was the same, even though it could be sought But still, if you already have it, it is better to use it wisely, it's better. I think not a little or even most gamblers are too focused on the victory of money so they ignore the amount of time they sacrifice only for something that is completely uncertain about the final outcome of gambling.

It's not always as simple as "the less time you spend on something, the better". The time spent should be adequate to the potential winning.
Example: if you spend say 4 hours analysing statistics to place a sports bet, but the expected profit is only $20, then you'd be effectively working for $5/hour, which, in developed countries, is not something most people would consider worthwhile. But if the expected profit was $200, then spending 4 hours is probably justified.

Yeah, I think the more time you spend gambling, the bigger the chance you end up in the hole.  To try and prevent that, maybe set an alarm or something so you don't lose track of time.  That way you can stay focused and not make stupid bets just cause you're bored.  Also probably smart to decide how much cash you're willing to part with before you even start and  that way you dont blow more money than you were planning and end up regretting the whole thing.

Definitely true, That's why it's better to set an alloted time and budget for your gambling session, in that way you will be able to control yourself and to prevent ended up having a big problem like addiction and zero bankroll balance. One thing that literally helps me to manage myself in gambling is that, I always prepare a budget and scheduled day and time when to gamble, in that way I still can do a lot of things rather than focusing and giving the majority of my time in gambling. It's quite difficult to manage and get used to that set up but at the end of the day, you will see that it's all worth it.

In gambling there is always no certainty and guarantee about whether you will win or lose again as usual, and that's why we should be able to consider everything wisely, it is better not to overdo the victory in gambling because as I say there is always no certainty , so allocating a little time also with a little money is much better and I hope anyone to consider gambling is nothing more than an entertaining activity.

Just make yourself that responsible then you wont really be able to encounter any problems when it comes to gambling. It is really just that a matter of perception and belief towards it because if you wont really be having that kind of impression then it would really be that making you desperate. It isnt that bad nor a good idea on staying up long with gambling because there were people who do
stay up long with gambling session but they were able to control up themselves well and doesnt have any issues when it comes to gambling dealing. Disasters do really happen if someone
wont really be able to control up themselves well and they are really that fixing up their mindset on playing gambling just because they were aiming for money or they were aiming
for something which it cant be that possible.

Being responsible is really one of the key factors of not being addicted. If you are responsible and disciplined enough, then you have nothing or at least, have less to worry about. It's a matter of having the control to your urge and to your emotions despite whatever circumstance you have. The shorter time you allot for gambling, the better because you can direct that time to something else more beneficial that would add more value into your life, and at the same time, you will manage to escape the repercussions of being too exposed in gambling such as having to depend on it and eventually become addicted to it. You are doing yourself a favor whenever you have a mindset that considers the whole outcome.
Yes, if you are really just that sensible and mindful on the things you are doing then you wont really be putting up yourself on such problem on which it would be always that wise that you should really be taking up some good decision basing up on the situation that you are facing on. If you are really that doing gambling in a responsible manner without compromising or affecting your finances then it would really be just that fine but if its happening on the opposite way then this is something that you would really be needing to have that control on which it would really be that best that you should really be that having that discipline in terms of money spending or risks management which we know that it would really be that crucial when it comes on dealing up with gambling.

This is not only peculiar to gambling only but also any other thing that the addiction of it can cost you something. Have limits to what you want to achieve doing that for that day, once the limit is reached, you should stop immediately. If you’re looking up to $20 profit a day, even if it’s a good day for you and you’ve been winning, when you reach your daily profit, immediately withdraw from playing the game. The same thing for loss, if your loss is set at $10 daily and the loss gets there, don’t be too angry not to exit the game and want to vent your anger as a revenge to get your money back, you can end up losing everything. Know when to stop and when to continue.
It is difficult to set a target for winning because you will probably encounter many losses, and it will not guarantee that you can win after experiencing many losses. The important thing is that you can set your limits in gambling and not violate those limits so that you don't experience more losses. People who are used to their limits can gamble comfortably, so they don't worry about gambling excessively because they can always control themselves. It is true that if you gamble for a short time, you can avoid losing a lot and can also avoid the possibility of experiencing a gambling addiction after gambling for a while. And if you finally manage to win, you should immediately decide to stop gambling because, in the next round, there is no guarantee that you will win again.
