I don’t see anything had about this thread. I don’t think I ever visited it till I came across this thread.

Giving merits is not moderated, so If you think some person is spending his/her merits in a very unfavorable manner, you can always put that account on ignore or put him/her in your distrust list, do whatever that is going to make you feel better I guess.

If people are having fun in that thread that’s cool.

If they are farming merits there, who cares? It is not my problem. Maybe I should start doing push ups too. How many merits do I get for doing 10 push ups?

I don't think it's stupid. But it could follow Wall Observer's treatment, where the thread doesn't show signature.
Absolutely correct 👍
If this is done that way then there will be low interest as I believe that those who are posting in that are doing that for paid purpose.

And again, my question is what if bitcoin hits $100k what becomes of that thread?

Locked or trash to archive, or there will be another thread created to catch bitcoin on 500k again?

It will close. Og will close it.

I will start a new thread about keeping btc over 100k and driving towards 200k and I am willing to start it in off topic.

This is known as a compromise.  So let's have go and Don Pedro agree to it.

problem solved.
Moving it to off-topic would make it gain less attention instead as suggested by @ABCbits to make it not signature display since it would serve as another mega thread where it would gain much attention just as WO thread.
Yes I understand it's OG instead of Go, but you could have edited instead of repeating another comment  Roll Eyes

yeah but by doing that you added a post which helped yourself . and if I edited the original post i would then be said to be altering posts.

and you will reply some nonsense to my post here which will add to your signature count.

So like I said this thread which I reported is a trolling thread to add to signature counts.

yet the admins left it alone.

which if you all don’t seem to understand the idea of both threads increasing signatures is not particularly bad.

as long as OG’s is allowed to stay where it is.

why is that? it contributes to the health and welfare of bitcointalk members.

to move it is to cause harm to members.

even if I am the only person on the thread that is doing the actual exercises.

I could do a video of the pushups to show I do them. and post them on this thread as I personally want to continue to exercise and use btc along with bitcointalk to promote my health.

since I know I do the exercises.

How about you deadlift my nuts off your chin and worry about your own threads?

Are you sure this is about the thread and not some other... issues that you might be having? A thread that you don't even need but gets you so mad when someone else says that maybe it shouldn't be there.

Do you really think I need a thread about doing push-ups to get paid by an advertiser?

Please avoid making such idiotic generalizations. Unless, of course, you believe members like JayJuanGee, philipma1957, NotATether, Timelord2067... (some of the most recognizable members of the forum that I noticed from a quick glance) are simply trying to farm merit points.
Of course I'm not.

I was talking about other case. these above users not even need to post in merit gathering thread in order to earn merit.

Well, perhaps this topic should be moved to the Reputation area, because it starts to take the direction of an evaluation between members, instead of what was actually started by the OP.

Maybe the approach that the OP took on the topic in question wasn't the most sympathetic, but then they started to take personal offense, there was no need.

The topic should get locked. I think we have had enough discussion on the matter, and things are now going towards personal brawls which shouldn't happen. OP has reported the thread that he thinks doesn't belong to that specific section, now let the moderators decide whether it should stay or be moved to Off-topic. We have all shared our personal opinions, and fighting over it in a thread in Meta doesn't seem to be the right thing to do, and moving it to Reputation isn't a solution because the base of this topic is not an accusation but about a thread.

OP should lock the thread himself instead of fighting with others about his opinion. Moderators know their job, let them decide.

So these days in meta a topic to counter a topic creates 5 pages of discussion. VOD needs to react to end the discussion LOL

If you were in a decent campaign you shouldn't be paid for that rubbish you say about satoshi but we're used to you getting paid for writing rubbish.

So we have found the root of your problem.  You are for some reason angry at me being paid by a signature advertiser while you are ironically being paid by a signature advertiser to do so...  Look at how many posts I have and how long I've been posting here...  Do you really think I need a thread about doing push-ups to get paid by an advertiser?  I think you should focus your energy on better things than worrying about me getting some free DoorDash deliveries every week courtesy of my posts here.

My thread is so on topic you can’t comprehend how relevant it is. If satoshi were here he would be doing push-ups on a twitch livestream moderated by Hal Finney while Dave Kleiman counts off the reps.

Cry about it.

I'm not exactly the one whining about the possibility of your stupid thread being moved to off topic.

Quit being a whiny bitch and go do some push-ups. Maybe a nutsack will sprout between your legs.  Cheesy

The rest of us will continue getting ripped as we speculate about Bitcoin hitting $100K.

I just don't do push-ups like a wimp, you know?

Heavy deadlifts, heavy squats, cardio at various intensities and much more. Besides, I'm not used to getting paid for bollocks like doing push-ups like a wimp is going to have any effect on the price.

That's why your shitty thread is long overdue in off topic and we all know that if someone else was the creator it would have been moved long ago.

Probably zero people reporting their push-ups are actually doing them anyway.

LOL but true.

Flexing online is one of the dumbest moves there is. Anybody can and does make up anything. Me? I'm a Baron and I live in a castle in Wales. I also invented Bitcoin. Now feed me merits.

Damn, that's really a lot of pages. It really is a spam megathread and I think it's just an edited images for joke and I can't imagine Satoshi nakamoto would ever say that. We all have opinion so others may have different opinions so I agree that some people might not agree with op. I don't believe that bitcoin price will increase just by doing push but I think it will also help people who are weak to have a healthy body so I think it's should be in different board.

But if it is a newbie that posted that topic, it would be moved to off-topic asap.
Yes hard truth, just like how if a newbie created a thread like this will also suffer much more backlash and criticism, while many will also call such account  an alt, giving little to no interest on their say, true or false?

I disagree. I think the opposite. Those supporting this thread with merits and stupid opinions are the same people who have been spreading lies about me forever. Literally all I do here is joke around, secure trades with an escrow service that has helped trading activity here, donate Bitcoin to a community organization that has been around for more than a decade, secured BTC as a treasurer for this forum while meeting my contract obligations perfectly, provide accurate analysis of the market, mine Bitcoin with alternative energy, and sell great products at incredible prices while accepting Bitcoin.

Ask yourself why people have a problem with a thread promoting Bitcoin, speculating on its price, and helping users here become healthier versions of themselves. The reason is clear to me. Certain individuals want to do everything they can to damage my reputation out of jealousy. The same people meriting this thread and supporting my thread being moved are the same people distrusting me in the trust network and in some cases leaving ridiculous negative feedback. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is anything other than another attack by the same users trying to turn me doing something good for this community into a negative. These people are a cancer.

The funny thing is that when I saw this thread I came in here ready to complain that one of my threads wasn’t the stupidest. Imagine my enjoyment to see what thread this was talking about.

Even more funny is the pathetic weenies who merited it. Tell me you can’t do a push-up without telling me right? LOL.

Quit being a whiny bitch and go do some push-ups. Maybe a nutsack will sprout between your legs.  Cheesy

The rest of us will continue getting ripped as we speculate about Bitcoin hitting $100K.

So... your response to your thread being called stupid is to post the dumbest "rebuttal" possible. Makes sense.

Outside of the opinions and all of the gaslighting going on here, it seems most agree it is simply an exercise / workout thread, so it should be located where those types of threads go on a Bitcoin forum. Smiley

I did not see anyone ask for the thread to be removed/banned/etc., but that's a big part of the problem these days with all the quotas to fill, most post/react without reading and trying to comprehend.

The sad reality is we should be more worried about yet another customer Og is screwing while pointing the finger at his M.I.A scapegoat. You'd think we would be worried about his site being offline for months now, and no shares being allowed to be sold since at least July, but naahh, let's get back to fluffing his ego on the push-ups thread he started a few weeks after threatening to knock another members teeth out to auction them on the forum. *slow clap*
