I know this is the topic for the UEFA Nations league, but tonight it's only exhibition games. Assume we can just post it here too? Belgium is behind against The Swiss.
I can remember that they once also led 3-0 and then lost 3-4 in the past. Or something.

I still think that Belgium and France together have the best teams in the world. Brazil used to have, but they have fallen somewhat.

What often amazes me is that you see teams like Argentina messing around, while they also have one of the best teams in the world based on individual qualities.

Must be especially frustrating for Messi, never achieve anything with his country.

In the meatime Ukraine has penalty kick against Poland, but Yarmolenko missed .
It was a bit accidental penalty BTW - mistake of polish defender rather.
In other games Switzerland scored against Belgium, Germany against Czechia and Spain against Netherland.

Too bad we don't get easily good streams from AFCON as those games are worth watching sometimes, specially with minnows becoming more competitive (thinking of Mauritius for example) and Senegal rising again.

Stupid European friendlies, sorry to say, very dull even with Nations League flavour.

My pick of the day, Malta to lose at home to Liechtenstein. Got a boost to 5.62 at Sportsbet, every other game too risky to put real money, because they're all going to be experimenting or just not risking injury. Super packed leagues in Covid times.

Too bad, you lost your bet on Liechtenstein, as Malta won 3 - Nil... I agree with the hardship on getting to watching AFCON games, especially when it's not a major tournament, despite being from Africa, I still can't easily watch these games, including that of my country sometimes.

I probably would not be betting on any European games until the weekends, I hate friendlies as you really don't know what each coach has in mind... I might only go for a few live bets, though.

Looking at the Italy squad for this friendly game I'm like...

Why are going to play this game? They have 11 players in the field and probably 10 of them they will never play an official game with Italy next year  Roll Eyes

Tonight the game of several superpowers. I think it is especially fun to watch the Netherlands - Spain. Spain has a young and renewed team, and the input from Barcelona and Madrid is minimal.
Can't remember that ever happened. Can also go terribly wrong.

@buwaytress I wish that is difficult to watch African football, too
I remember times, when I was watching Africa Nation Cup and how fascinated I was.

Another interesting game could be Denmark against Sweden - Scandinavian classic - starting in 45 minutes

I really hope Croatia plays with a strong team against Turkey tonight. <...>
don't get your hopes up. I think 99% of the teams playing a friendly today will heavily rotate the squad. Most players are hella exhausted from playing every 3 days in their clubs...Now they have to travel for dumb friendlies and the Nations League, 3 matches in just 6 days, that's too much, so it's likely that players from the top leagues won't get many minutes tonight, so expect the unexpected.

Italy vs Estonia over 3.5 @ 1.85.
I have Italy clean sheet at 1.56 and a 2+ goals France win at 1.82...let's see if their B team can get the job done today

First game in international friendlies today, Greece won as expected.
Türkiye may win the game, Croatia will play with their second team. Bulgaria should win easily against Gibraltar. Austria, Belgium, Portugal and France are other favorites tonight.
For late games, Netherlands - Spain match looks good, I might watch it.

So if no separate topic for friendly matches I would like to say here one of most interesting matches today could be quiet good recently performing Poland against Ukraine, which have won against Spain in Uefa Nations League!

Can't say that I'm excited about friendly games, but I think it's good opportunity to make some money. I'll share my bets.
I wouldn't actually say it is opportunity to make money, more likely it is opportunity to place some bets and loose money Smiley At least for me when national teams are concerned. Everything for small stake no need to give back to the bookies all the winnings I had recently.

I am actually on few games both to score today. These are friendlies and hopefully there will not be such big emphasis on defense:
Turkey - Croatia - This one I am playing on the back of Croatian national team results, we always manage to score a goal or two and always concede at least one from some stupid set piece
Netherlands - Spain - I am afraid for this one since Netherlands had some very tight games recently but hopefully Spain will make this one pass
Belgium - Switzerland - This is for me the best game tonight. Both teams like to play football and this one could end with some real friendly result like 3:2 maybe

I really hope Croatia plays with a strong team against Turkey tonight. Usually I'm all for testing and experimenting, but the most important game in the Nations league is on Saturday.
We need at least a draw in Sweden (which I feel we'll get), but a win would put us in a really comfortable position.

My tip would be under 2.5, on both of these games.

Slava Ukraini!
Can't say that I'm excited about friendly games, but I think it's good opportunity to make some money. I'll share my bets.
I'm backing Montenegro (1.70) to win against Kazakhstan, Norway (1.53) vs Israel. Maybe it's worth to put little stake on Haaland to score? Cheesy And Slovenia (1.50) against Azerbaijan.
I also put small stake on my country Lithuania (2.07) to win against Faroe Islands. It's not frequent opportunity to bet on my country win, lol.
What else? Portugal bs Andorra over 4.5 @is possible? Why not.
Italy vs Estonia over 3.5 @ 1.85.

I hate national breaks but I can't stay too far from football bets. That's a too side stick. Grin

There are good clashes today, I'd like to watch Türkiye - Croatia and Germany - Czechia games. Greece - South Cyprus game is early but it looks very boring, I wouldn't waste my time on that.

We should wait for match times and see squads before placing our bets. International match squads are bigger than club squads and every player is fit and ready to play, that's why there's big a difference.

It will also be interesting for me to watch the match between Croatia and Turkey.
It seems that Croatian coach Dalic will give a chance to some new players in the national team and that the final result will not be so important to him.
Croatia has been in a crisis of games and results for some time now (since World cup in fact) and needs new concepts and players.
In other matches, I expect easy victories for Germany and Greece.

Greece is supposedly playing more attacking football these days but yes the opponents lack quality so they might just relax and try hit a few goals and defend.

Agree to watch for lineups and all that but actually,,, placing a well timed bet on good odds even before things are confirmed is a valid strategy (like how a key player playing will put the odds up or down but if you already know for sure he probably will not play).

I think the friendly match The Netherlands - Spain would be an interesting match. If both teams wants to go for the victory it could be very entertaining.

International break or nations league always gives me a different feeling about football. It doesn't seem to be interesting even with the same players on the pitch. The clubs seemed more entertaining probably due to the quality of players all scout for and bought over to play together as a team but then, the international breaks really puts me on a pause or wait and watch out for the league games to resume before you can enjoy soccer again. I really wish it didn't have to be so but, that's how it feels.

In fact it is not at all interesting compared to other competitions like Euro or World Cup in International level and of course it is even more boring compared to Champions League for example.Except strong teams like Germany,Italy,France,Netherlands,England and some others most of the teams lack the players to show good football in general and that is why Nations League is not very entertaining to watch on Tv.
