Well, I think you forgot to add the comments on Khabib Nurmagomedov to your math in adding that your equation should be complete, Sergei Pavlovich really did a great job and has used his striking as his defense aswell, he got a pretty much solid chin, and looks massive than Curtis Blaydes, if not for Khabib Nurmagomedov, I will not switch my bet for Sergei Pavlovich, so next fight will be none other than Ciryl Gane, and technically Ciryl Gane could be the weakness of Sergei Pavlocich because Gane is more technical than him, but what if Pavlovich could have a takedown, that is a different story,
Congratulations on your win buddy for betting on Sergei Pavlovich.
And next, if Sergei Pavlovich fights Ciryl Gane, I'm not sure Pavlovich can win because Gane is a former heavyweight champion and was the number one fighter in his class.
In the previous fight, Gane lost the heavyweight championship belt to Jon Jones, but Gane started to train more actively and will fight back for the title he once held.
Maybe Pavlovich is a great fighter with a record of 5 wins in his last fight but if he has to fight Gane it seems that it will be more difficult for him to win.

Sergei Pavlovich looks the real deal, even defended a few takedown attempts, despite them not being setup by Blaydes. I'm not sure why Blaydes stayed on the feet as long as he did, it was quite clear Sergei Pavlovich was hurting him every single time he was landing. I didn't want to see Curtis lose in that way, but I've got to give it to Pavlovich he's put a real statement on that win.
Yes he is the rea deal and I think title fight is next for him soon.
He was better than Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa before this fight, he can fight both strikers, big guys and wrestlers, so he is no joke.
Only fight he ever lost in MMA was from Alistair Overeem but that was back in 2018 and he improved a lot since that time.
His winning style is amazing, 15 of his 18 fights he won fight KO ot TKO, that is 83%, and crowd loves this especially in heavyweight division.
If everything goes according to plan his next fight should be against winner of Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic.

He looks like the real deal, and can defend wrestlers. Remember, Curtis is one of the best in the division for his wrestling skills. I believe he has the most time on top in control time.

He was so effective in his last two fights but after being inactive for months, it made him inefficient.
He looks intimidated in front of Pavlo although his hands are up, it does look like he only raises them to block an attack. No counter was done that could hurt Pavlo so Pavlo also charges all the time.

Pavlo does have an edge against Gane if he fights the same way.

Sergei Pavlovich has one punch knockout power and he is in attack mode all the time which is the only issue i find in this match up against Ciryl Gane as he has a good distance control and coming back after a devastating loss to Jon Jones. Not sure whether Jon Jones will be interested in taking these new opponents as he is fixated on Stipe Miocic and if he is not ready Sergei Pavlovich should get the title shot as he is on a 6 fight winning streak.

Sergei Pavlovich VS Curtis Blaydes ROUND 1 KO/TKO - WIN

My simple math did not work  Grin

Karol Rosa got a really nasty cut https://instagram.com/stories/danawhite/3086928388393612517?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=. That is gonna cause a lot of trouble while healing.

I think that Karol Rosa's Instagram post was taken down maybe because of a graphic image of Rosa's brutal cut and maybe Instagram has taken it down for a while, but I wish her a fast recovery,

this weekend's fights are very unpredictable and that's why I chose only these two fights

Bobby Green - Jared Gordon

Iasmin Lucindo - Brogan Walker

The Bobby Green VS Jared Gordon fight was a no contest because both fighters clashed their heads at each other, it was really a bummer for the fight to go in that direction and this made me frustrated actually I only got 1 winning bet on this event but congratulation for the Iasmin Lucindo VS Brogan Walker it was a decision win for Lucindo, it was a real win for her,

Now the result of my picks for the UFC Fight Night Pavlovich vs. Blaydes

Sergei Pavlovich VS Curtis Blaydes ROUND 1 KO/TKO - WIN

It was upsetting for Curtis Blaydes and it is a good thing that I switched my bet to Sergei Pavlovich it is a good thing that I have seen that video from Khabib Nurmagomedov about Sergei Pavlovich and he was right about him, the technicality of his punches is there he can surely box, and the power of his strike it was really great, he was never afraid of the takedowns and he is a massive fighter that can surely intimidate anyone, his way of punching was really unique he got a same start position in punching his overhead and uppercut that Curtis Blaydes doesn't what he was throwing it was insane, Pavlovich doesn't have defense because he got a solid chin that can take any damage, but his defense was his reach he would extend those reach to evade a punch and sometimes throws a punch to defend something, Man I have a new favorite In this division now, So next fight for him is Cyril Gane for the number 1 contender or a replacement for Jon Jones VS Stipe Miocic fight,

Brad Tavares VS Bruno Silva ROUND 1 NO KO/TKO - LOST

This is what I am afraid of for Brad Tavares to not go with the takedown because he likes it on the feet but he surely underestimated Bruno Silva's striking and that power shot if Bruno Silva would catch you that will surely give Tavares a hardtime and so Bruno Silva has seen an opportunity in catching Tavares he doesn't hesitate and catch Tavares clean with a knee then a follow-up with a right hand,

Bobby Green VS Jared Gordon ROUND 1 NO CONTEST - LOST

Jared Gordon got a clean kick on the groin at 1st but it was the pressure off Bobby Green that kept him away, and Green was just chilling with his hands down, it was a clashing of the head when Green was about to move forward but again Gordon then goes down and Green thinks it was his elbow that caught Jared Gordon but it was the head that caught that, so it was really a frustrating No Contest,

this weekend's fights are very unpredictable and that's why I chose only these two fights

Bobby Green - Jared Gordon

King is 36 years old and has more than 10 years of career as a professional, with 44 fights he managed to get 29 wins and 14 losses and 1 draw, and he had 10 wins by knockout and 8 wins by submission, while his opponent Jared Gordon is also not very young because he is 34 years old, he has 12 years of professional career but he only had 25 fights in which he managed to win in 19 fights and lost in 6 fights, he only managed to win in 6 fights by knockout. both fighters come from negative results, but I put Bobby Green in my parlay because I believe he will win this fight

Iasmin Lucindo - Brogan Walker

Iasmin Lucindo, is only 21 years old and has a very short career as a professional because he started in 2018, but he has already had 18 fights in which he won 13 fights and lost 5 fights, but won 8 fights by knockout, 2 by submission and 3 by decision, while her opponent Brogan Walker is 34 years old and has an 8-year career, but has only 10 fights, of which she managed to win 7 fights and lost 3 fights. in my opinion Iasmin Lucindo will win this fight, that's why I bet on her

Blaydes - Jackson
Add:  Tavares - Green - Marshall
Add:  Lucindo - Rosa
Add:  Semelsberger - Usman
Add:  Hiestand - Giagos
I really like the Blaydes pick, I think most people will be going for Pav. I just don't want to see Curtis get knocked out. I'm hoping he can win with the wrestling. Although, the odds for Blaydes just aren't worth the risk in my opinion. I'll be keeping him off of my betting slip. Lucindo, and Rosa I like. Usman, I like him. Watched him a fair amount, and for the most part he just seems like a nice guy. However, I don't know too much about his opponent, and how much Usman has been training. I have some concerns.

I might be in the minority, but I think Burns takes that fight. We've seen how dangerous Burns is, and his only notable losses are against the best in the division. He really tested Chimaev, and honestly I thought he won the fight. He lost against Usman, but actually was looking very dangerous until that jab caught him. If Burns avoided that jab he probably would've won that fight, as that's ultimately all he was having trouble with. I think he's improved since then.

Nope, I'm with you.  But I'm not gonna bet it.  Lol.  As I said in a post prior to this one, I have faded Muhammad a couple of times as the underdog and lost twice.  There' just something about Belal that makes him win.  Either by luck or timing or no idea what...  He just wins.

So If he's an underdog in this spot...  Be wary.  :/

Here's my lottery ticket for the event.

Blaydes - Jackson
Add:  Tavares - Green - Marshall
Add:  Lucindo - Rosa
Add:  Semelsberger - Usman
Add:  Hiestand - Giagos

Weigh in results.

Sergei Pavlovich (260.5) vs Curtis Blaydes (262.5)
Bruno Silva (186) vs Brad Tavares (185)
Jared Gordon (155.5) vs  Bobby Green (156)
Iasmin Lucindo (126) vs Brogan Walker (126)
Matthew Semelsberger (171) vs Jeremiah Wells (171)
Christos Giagos (155.5) vs Ricky Glenn (155.5)
Montel Jackson (136) vs Rani Yahya (136)
Norma Dumont (145) vs Karol Rosa (144.5)
Junior Tafa (252) vs Mohammed Usman (239.5)
William Gomis (147)* vs Francis Marshall (146)

Then I wonder if Pavlovich have enough skills to counter everything Blaydes has. Blaydes has a heavy punch also. He can "open" wounds easily (fight against Overeem). Look how I see it: Blaydes is good at wrestling, Pavlovich at roman greco, so it is 1:1. Both have heavy hands - 2:2. But Pavlovich is predictable - I would give 0.5 Playdes for striking. Which makes it total of 2.5 for Blaydes and 2 for Pavlovich. Lets see if math works in UFC Cheesy

Well, I give you credit for making some computations for the upcoming fight but you forgot to add something and that is the prediction of a great fighter, and this video shows that Khabib Nurmagomedov had great respect for Sergei Pavlovich, so I think that is a plus 0.5 aswell so that makes them even, and here are Khabib Nurmagomedov the video is on Russian but it has English subtitle on it so don't worry, but for this one video my bets were completely changed aswell, for me Sergei Pavlovich could be stronger than Curtis Blaydes, and can surely keep up with everything Blaydes throw at him, and just like I have said the division of heavyweight is completely changing from a one-punch knockout winning, to a more technical game now I guess some will eventually adopt to it, and Sergei Pavlovich could also adapt to something like that, for me training in Dagestan could also change some of his technique, I think I will be blown by what we can see in this main event and I am excited while thinking of it,

Sergey recently posted in his media accounts, that he has had a camp in Dagestan. Imho, having a camp and being training wrestling for years are two different things. I think Pavlovich gonna push full throttle and try to finish Blaydes in first round. His stats shows that he mostly finish opponents in first rounds. Blaydes has a good experience against heavy strikers. Volkov, Rozenstruik, Overeem. He is ready to survive, and long fight is a bad sign for one-dimensional Pavlovich.

Actually at first was going to bet for Curtis Blaydes but after seeing this VIDEO I now wholly change my mind and change my picks Sergei Pavlovich I genuinely believe him in saying he is definitely ready for Curtis Blaydes for sure he doesn't have the worse punch but surely near What Francis Ngannou is capable of and he can surely get into the ground ready for those takedowns,

Ah...  Didn't expect that the UFC to offer Emmet another tough opponent just a little over a month after his loss to Yair Rodriguez.  And I wonder why Emmet signed up for the fight.  It's prolly his age.  He' like almost 40 amd he needs to a couple of good wins to get a crack at the title again.  Don't think he'll win tho.  Topuria is good at wrestling, grappling and his hands have powerrr.

Anyway, who you guys got in the main event this weekend?  I'm going back and forth but I think Blaydes has the slight edge with the wrestling and it's 5 rounds.  He needs to get past the first couple of rounds vs Pavlovich tho.

Yup! Sad to say for Josh Emmett if he doesn't change his tactics towards Ilia Topuria and he still approached in a brawling manner against him then I will bet that Josh Emmett will likely don't stand a chance, for me if Topuria could go division higher and smash Paddy Pimblett there that will be a good fight for sure,

Now my picks for the UFC Fight Night: Pavlovich vs. Blaydes

Sergei Pavlovich VS Curtis Blaydes

The stake odds for this fight are 2.36 for Pavlovich and 1.60 for Blaydes, Well Sergei Pavlovich is a knockout artist for sure but before that, I was really going for Curtis Blaydes to win this fight, but after seeing the video of Khabib Nurmagomedov, if Pavlovich would end up fighting Francis Ngannou he will surely bet for Sergei Pavlovich to win, and because Pavlovich pretty much can even go toe to toe with Ngannou on the ground because Pavlovich has known Roman Greco Wrestling so I am changing my bet and picks to Sergei Pavlovich,

Brad Tavares VS Bruno Silva

The stake odds for this fight are 1.61 for Tevares and 2.33 for Silva, for this fight Brad Tavares is a more well-rounded fighter than Silva in my opinion he once fought Israel Adesanya it was a close match but because of the reach and height of Izzy pretty much he got a hard time and Izzy have landed most of his shot, but for me, Tavares with that experience fight with Adesanya is a well-rounded fighter now, going up against Bruno Silva My pick is Brad Tavares,

Bobby Green VS Jared Gordon

The stake odds for this fight are 1.37 for Green and 3.10 for Gordon, For me Green has the moves and experience needed for this fight no further analysis is needed, but if Jared Gordon got some new tricks on his sleeve then that is a different story but it all is just the same then I will go with Boddy Green for this fight,

I do like to see Gilbert Burns fight again but ain't this too risky? And if he loses in this match there will be tons of reasons why. If I were his opponent I won't like it either. Winning against an opponent who should be resting and didn't have enough preparation time.

It is risky. Dont forget, that Belal trains with Khabib and Co. Which gonna help him to counter Gilberts take down attempts imho. Not going to say that Gilber is on a higher level, or Belal is to weak for him. But I see that Belal 16 out of 22 victories were by UD. Some say that a win is a win, but that guy has some problems with finishing his opponents. That is not a good sign. Even though victories were UD, everything could have changed 180 degrees in his fights just after 1 punch.

Yet again, fight again in 1 month, or in just two weeks (as their fight was announced today), that means Belals potential opponent screwed something and Burns was to save that fight. There is definitely something behind that. Gonna search for answers.

Burns will still be delighted to give it a shot even if there will be just a few weeks of preparation. The fighter is very successful in most of his fights and he only loses high-caliber opponents to which Bellal is definitely not at his level of skills. It will just be a bonus win for Burns.

Burns almost did it against Khamzat, I can only credit that fight to Burns he can sure fight someone that is heavily trained in Khabib's camp.

I am excited about future fights Dana White recently announced. Bellal Muhammad vs Gilbert Burns on UFC 288 on May 8 and Charles Oliveira vs Beneil Dariush on UFC 289. A bit shocking to see Burns in co main event, as he fought just few weeks ago. And finally we gonna see Dariush in action. Strange to see Dariush so high on top, when he did not fight any ranked opponent since 2020.

Well! This is the UFC and there is no point to wait when they can actually fight with full 100% condition. It might seem impossible for them to quickly recover in our eyes but believe me, these are mixed martial artists and they want to fight their opponent quickly as possible in order to relax their minds. I think what I want to see is Charles Oliveira getting on his feet again to get to fight again this year and it would be best for him to fight Dariush though his record is not that amusing, he is a good match-up for Charles and he needs to train well for this one because the guy is hungry for a win.

^  A little bit risky but Masvidal didn't really give him such a hard time that maybe he things signing up for the match is fine.  And I'm thinking he wouldn't get another opportunity like this as winning the match would mean getting first crack at the title at 170 against Edwards.

The good thing for Burns here is he is already fit and ready...  I wonder how the books will price these two.  Been fading Muhammad twice in his last two and lost twice.  Lol.

I am surprised too when I read your posts. I just remembered betting for Burns like 2 weeks ago and now he is fighting again. The battle against Masvidal is still fresh and there's not enough room for healing and training. But, if the camp of Burns did agree with it then maybe the issue about him avoiding Belal Muhammad at UFC 283 got to his nerve.  Cheesy

So this is how the card will look now.

Aljamain Sterling versus Henry Cejudo
Belal Muhammad versus Gilbert Burns
Jessica Andrade versus Yan Xiaonan

I do like to see Gilbert Burns fight again but ain't this too risky? And if he loses in this match there will be tons of reasons why. If I were his opponent I won't like it either. Winning against an opponent who should be resting and didn't have enough preparation time.
