He must have been looking at how Ngannou took the stage already while him Connor's career is fading daylight. But he wants to remind fans that once upon a time he was the best in MMA. Ngannou taking big offers from other promotions besides UFC is also making him bigger, it could be that the world will know him more than Connor.

Well the way he is approaching things now if he continues in this way the world is not going to remember him for his achievement in the UFC. Already I hear people say that Conor McGregor is just a Twitter warrior now. His impression is certainly not positive anymore. I would say that his image was starting to fall when he lost against Khabib. From that, he has not been a very good fighter, to be honest. I think we all know that from now on any fight that Corner McGregor is going to get, it is actually going to be because of his mouth and Dana White's love for him..

Conor McGregor saying yesterday that he will get the all time UFC knockouts record seems a little ambitious for a guy coming off an injury who hasn’t knocked anybody out in a while… Not to mention he isn’t getting any younger so he must be planning a massive comeback with a lot of fights if he thinks this is possible for him to obtain.
Anderson Silva is the first fighter i saw live getting his leg snapped and he was never the same after that, then Chris Weidman who was the opponent when Anderson Silva snapped his leg went through the same catastrophe and he is yet to recover from the injury from 2021 because he is not completely recovered from the injury and now Conor McGregor thinks that he will be rejuvenated and recover from an injury like that is his confidence but he will never be the same fighter he once was.

I think he is just talking to talk and trying to get the attention towards him. He is not going to have that kind of success when he does come back. He is obviously one of the best fighters in the UFC. There is no doubt about that. He has certainly become the old hat of the UFC. He is just trying to get attention so that probably he can divert that attention towards his whisky company and increase the sells.  Other than that if he is actually thinking that he will be able to do what he is saying I think he is just being delusional.

It seems like Ngannou's name grow big after what he did to UFC and showing reluctance to sign easily to any of the other rival MMA promotions. The $20 million 2-fight deal from ONE is the biggest per-fight guarantee although PFL's deal allowed Ngannou to become part of the board, allowed him to box, and have a huge PPV share which will be more beneficial only if his PPV numbers grow more than his previous numbers at UFC.

Ngannou is expected to return to MMA action next year so it will be 2 years of inactivity. Although he is expected to have a heavyweight boxing tune-up this year before vying for a shot at either Fury, AJ, or Wilder. Seriously though, he cannot beat any of the top 20 heavyweights except his puncher's chance. A shameful loss to boxing at least won't hurt much if in case his market will diminish since PFL only gave a guarantee of 7 digits in each of his next 3 MMA fights.

Sounds like ONE's offer is a lot preferable. There could be changes to his fighting style by now after some boxing training, I'm sure he has a chance to win against any boxer.

Some fresh news: "Ex-UFC champ Francis Ngannou signs lucrative MMA deal with PFL, boxing still an option".

What can I say, Ngannou got what he wanted, money, power and freedom. He will get "tens millions", act as an PFL ampassador and have option to have boxing fights while being signed for PFL. Hope that he will perform for 200% and be worth every dollar PFL spend on him. Hope that he will finally fight, but not just sit on his ass and get salary.

I really think this is the very lucrative decision the PFL has ever done, and not just that this is too risky for both organization and the fighter they haven't know if many are still wanting to watch Francis Ngannou fight, I think there is a lot of option for Ngannou in this contract he is pretty much flexible and even though he got some advisor Francis Ngannou is the one that has done the talking and surely enough PFL have decided to go on a risky this is not just a contract signing for the PFL this is a business venture and Ngannou will have 8 figure of a deal every time he fights, and his opponent will get a fair amount and will get a percentage on the revenue for the Pay Preview, and the ability to have boxing matches, and he would also like to open a PFL Africa for new fighters from their place to the PFL, there are many that are in the contract many Francis Ngannou have the freedom for what he wants to decide,

Indeed a risky move for PFL, but imagine how much recognition, popularity and fans PFL are getting now. Ngannou itself is a walking advertising campaign. If there will be to two event on the same day running, just by saying "we have Ngannou" PFL would lure money from fan wallets Cheesy This is not the best topic for Ngannou and PFL discussion, but I have checked their heavyweight roster, and Ngannou would not face serious troubles there imho Cheesy

This should have a different main card until Irene Aldana rebooked and instead wants to face Amanda Nunes all of a sudden and they will face each other with UFC and with  UFC 289 Nunes vs. Aldana, Irene Aldana must be targeting the belt right now this is a great opportunity for her but I think Amanda Nunes will be is a bigger threat to Irene Aldana, but let's just wait and see if she can surely stop Amanda Nunes, or not,

Amanda Nunes is on a different level, but because this is a title fight Irene Aldana is taking her chances, for sure this is going to be a great match but the Co-main is the real deal so many people are waiting for this fight well if Charles Oliveira is able to withstand those defeats he had against Islam Makhachev and if he's able to move forward, and if he can defeat Beneil Dariush, Dan Ige VS Nate Landwehr is a juicy fight as well, and all eyes to those fighters,

^  Sucks cos we won't be seeing him fight Jon Jones.  :/  I still think Ngannou has a good chance to finish Jones.  Why can't the UFC just pay the guy a one fight deal vs Jones for 10 million or something.  Sigh...

Anyway after making my picks for the Multi Master I think the next event could be a sleeper banger.  I found myself predicting 8 matches to finish inside the distance.  Lol.  Picked Dern for the main event but could go Hill's way since it's a 5 rounder.

I really think he doesn't want or doesn't need to fight Jon Jones anymore maybe Jon Jones will envy Francis Ngannou for getting that extreme contract for the PFL, Jon Jones doesn't have the many if Ngannou fight him, but maybe if Jon Jones could join PFL maybe their fight with Francis Ngannou will create a lot of money, and Jone Jones will have a fairly pay if he fights Ngannou and goes to PFL,

Luck was really on my side that time.
Actually, the fight you are waiting for is UFC 290 with the main card VOLKANOVSKI VS RODRIGUEZ which will unite the featherweight classes with the return of VOLKANOVSKI to his division after being defeated by Islam Makhachev but before that VOLKANOVSKI has an unbeaten fight record and his first defeat against Islam Makhachev.
For RODRIGUEZ himself he is the interim title holder at featherweight after beating Josh Emmett.
And these two fighters have pretty good fighting strength so it will be very exciting to watch but hard to predict who will win.

good for you that luck was on your side, that day

That Alexander Volkanovski VS Yair Rodriguez for the Unification fight for the featherweight division belt is going to be a banger of a fight I think Alexander Volkanovski already has 1 loss and it was against Corey Nelson on the Australian FC 5 we can see if Yair Rodriguez learn something from his lost against Max Holloway but this is going to be a good fight both have excellent stand-up but the thing it Volkanovski have shown us a glimpse of his ground game and it is pretty impressive against Islam Makhachev, and for me against Yair Rodriguez Alexander Volkanovski got many tools to suppress Yair Rodriguez, this is going to be a chess match for sure, but I got a huge percentage for Volkanovski,
Yes, this fight will be the main card for the featherweight title.
If you look at how to fight, the history of the fight and other statistics, the two of them almost have the same abilities with their respective advantages.
But if you have a prediction for Volkanovski it might be good.
I still can't have any predictions on which one to choose but I will be quick to find out who is worth betting on in this featherweight fight.

-snip-

I expected more from Daniel Rodriguez but Ian Garry was a lot faster and had more tools.  D Rod just had his boxing, no wrestling, couldn't even get the fight to the clinch and grind his opponent somehow.  I think a guy who could do that could give Garry problems.

Congrats on the win.

I actually wasn't too sure about Daniel Rodriguez so I made the decision to choose Lan Garry.
After all Lan Garry was previously the Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion and after joining the UFC he is now ranked 13th in the UFC welterweight division.

Yes thanks @tokeweed.

Perhaps UFC offered him a juicy check, but Bones would have asked the same Cheesy I think UFC werent ready for such double expenses. Anyway, I think Ngannou cause more troubles during his short career, than any other fighter. As minimum he would be in top trouble makers/fighters who cause Dana have headache Cheesy

PFL heavyweight fighters might be scared with Ngannou joined PFL and it's expected he will fight in the next year. Too bad Jones seems unbeatable in UFC, he will fight against Stipe Miocic and then choose to retire since Ngannou will not back to UFC.

Imho Bones seems to be avoiding fighting Ngannou. If he was really a king, not scared and call himself greatest, he would have returned while Ngannou was still in UFC. Bones returned to beat muai thai fighter and old Miocic, who claimed now has some problems with eyes. Truly king of p4p Cheesy

Mackenzie Dern VS Angela Hill
Seems like an easy win for Mackenzie Dern, she has a good wrestling skill while Angela Hill is matured enough and just an average fighter. I think Mackenzie Dern will beat Angela Hill via submission.

Good thing that he did get a contract after leaving the UFC because it will be hard for others to follow in his footstep if he didn't get anything despite his popularity and skills. Now that he finally settles with the PFL, I'm sure the next thing we see from him is a date for his next fight. Can't wait to see him back in action because if the big dude will fight, we surely see some real action and great skills. Honestly, it was really hard for someone like his caliber to get a decent contract outside the UFC.

This should be a Raquel Pennington vs. Irene Aldana 2 main event but because Aldana has rebooked the fight was canceled, for this fight most of them come from a loss but surely an interesting event even though this is just a fight night event, an event is still an event, and I am seeing fighting kittens in this event card as well, better-informed bbc.reporter, and I am talking about Vanessa Demopoulos vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Natália Silva VS Victoria Leonardo can surely fit as a fighting Kittens, what do you think?

A lot faster indeed,

Ian Machado Garry vs Daniel Rodriguez - those kicks from Ian Garry was really superb and on cue with his kicks those lightning speed kicks of him surely created a space between him and D Rod, and setting up that kick on the right timing, it was really a great fight but for sure he is not Ranked 10 maybe,

The UFC on ABC 4: Rozenstruik vs. Almeida is a banger of an event, but because many are lacking information about some of the fights and fighters that is why they aren't interested in the event, but just like you I am not really disappointed at all, and it was one truly remarkable event

Well, Ian Garry also has the length and reach that likely pressure D Rod so much and those kicks from the body are something that Daniel Rodriguez is defending which means it is that powerful to hurt him, that was capitalized by Garry in initiating a self-care for D Rod's body so much that when Ian Garry kick to the head it was on full impact that shock D Rod, for a knock-out it was a technical knockout for sure if Garry could potentially have a match against a wrestler then he likely will have a problem about it, for sure Khamzat Chimaev, Gilbert Burns, and Shavkat Rakhmonov I really don't know if he's going to increase a rank if likely this 3 would be his opponent,

The next fight might be a little difficult for me to make interesting things that I may witness but the Main Event because of Mackenzie Dern this could be a lot more interesting her style with her submission was really insane but surely this event could also be a surprise for us if many on this event end is a KO/TKO or even a submission wins for some of the fights,

Just like in the Provided Video Mackenzie Dern wins via Submission with an Armbar to Randa Markos that was really awesome,

It was a great call, I follow it and put $22 on in to get $51 back

I watch the 3 of them, and really enjoy it, is hast to find those easy money fights but today was the right day to print money with UFC. And Almeida by submission was an easy call too, I should add that one to the parlay because that fight alone was a x1.75 but for that point, I was happy with my profit and didn't bet more.

The UFC event that I'm waiting for now is the UFC 290, "VOLKANOVSKI VS RODRIGUEZ" I know it still a long time for it, but it will be an awesome event. I will bring my prediction when we get there but still a 2 months wait for it.
I won these three fights with pretty decent Odds because I can use the wins to bet on the next day.

I had a very good weekend with my UFC and MMA predictions, unlike betting on other sports with terrible results, so it pays off to mix different sports sometimes.
This was OK event, nothing special to see, Johnny Walker won again Anthony Smith but slave master Dana White was not impressed with his performance  Tongue
Jailton Almeida won like most people expected and he is on nice run with four wins in a row, maybe he is getting closer to title contender fight.

My bet for the NBA are exploding to oblivion which is why I have stopped betting for the NBA, for now, I am surely lucky with my MMA prediction but have totally missed the Jairzinho Rozenstruik VS Jailton Almeida fight because of my brother's wedding but it doesn't matter it is a wedding after all, Jailton Almeida looks nice and powerful with those takedowns even though Rozenstruik is much heavier than him he still manages to make Rozenstruik goes down,  this is surely going to be a 1 fighter that many heavyweights will surely struggle they will surely Struggle with Jailton Almeida's wrestling capabilities, and how he uses the fence for secure lockdown on his opponent just like how Khabib Nurmagomedov is doing,

Next weeks event seems to be boring for me. My eyes barely catches any familiar name or someone I should definitely gonna watch fighting. I think I would better focus on IIHF games, as there play-off games are about to start. Definitely gonna prevent from placing a bet on next UFC event and event that comes after. Would better save (to lose more Cheesy) for UFC 289 and win with Oliveira Cheesy Or I would watch a fight you would suggest me.

Well for sure I will see an interesting card in this event and most of the fighters come from a losing fight but I have noticed an interesting fight here and it is Rodrigo Nascimento VS Ilir Latifi this is just my opinion, it is interesting for me but both guys aren't champion material so yeah this is just an average fight for some,
