I had Kattar winning too but it was so close that I guess I don't really gave a problem if the judges had the other guy in their score cards.
I did a coin toss bet for main event and I won my bet on Josh Emmett in Sportsbet Smiley
It was great odds on him to win and I like betting on underdogs many times, but he won by split decision, so it was not so easy, but I expected this to be 50/50 chances.
I didn't watch rest of the fights but I saw nice wins for Cody Stamann, Kevin Holland and not so nice for Joaquin Buckley.

And I'm getting my tickets right now.  Lol.  Something that should win as it's the break even ticket...  So I wanna ask what you guys think of Nurmagomedov - Rakmanov - Moises parlayed at 1.90?

For you, it was not really a problem but in what I see the judges are not scoring accordingly, and in my opinion, it was a robbery but yeah we can not do something about that if the judges don't deliver a result you don't like Calvin Kattar needs a result that the judges don't really need to used the score cards, a KO or a submission,

For Umar Nurmagomedov, he is a very unique kid, and Unique is the word because he doesn't borrow any style from the books of Khabib, but rather puts on kicks to his wrestling, I think this creates distance and pressure on his opponent aswell, and for Rakhmonov he is a calmer version of Khamzat Chimaev, and I really like how well verse both fighters are weth it comes to their styles both are a well-rounded fighters,

Gamrot vs Holtzman. The game of the two talented and willing fighters was great. I can say that Gamrot has shown his best performance so far. I'm starting to think he might be a superstar. Gamrot still undefeated. His only lost was by idiotic split decision by judges. Even his enemy Kutaladze was admitted he lose that fight againist Gamrot.

Sounds good to me. Probably my three favourites on the card, that I don't see slipping up. If I were to pick one that could potentially slip up, I think it would be Shavkat. Neil Magny isn't a push over. I do expect the three of them to win though. 1.90 returns, I mean depends on how much you'd put on it. However, I'd be pretty confident of netting a return putting them in a treble.

I like the look of Tsarukyan too against Gamrot. My underdog of the night would likely be Rodolfo Vieira. Although, I'll review some tape before making any decisions on that. Just those are my early leans.

Lolol.  Cheesy  I was totally annoyed, I wanted to kick the TV.  But yeah...  I gotta do a better job to get the top ticket right to at least get my money back and live another day.  So note to self, don't but prelim matches in the top ticket or low level WMMA.  They're unpredictable.

And man the event was so good.  Out of all the events in the UFC this year, I think UFC London and this recent one at Austin have been the most memorable so far.  They're not even PPV events!

At least you haven't kicked your TV to regret ever betting for Kyle Daukaus but it was really a shitty fight actually giving him as the crowd favorite to win was surely not a good sign, but at least you still enjoyed the other fights,

Well, most fights are unpredictable, and I lost so much that 1 fight got canceled, and like you, I was frustrated because I thought that Calvin Kattar won that fight, but the judges were really blind or not looking at the fight the whole time, it was a robbery, in Kattar's part in my opinion.

Lightweight: Arman Tsarukyan VS Mateusz Gamrot
Welterweight: Neil Magny VS Shavkat Rakhmonov

I am looking forward for those two fights. I believe that a lot of people underestimate Tsarukyan and he can get easily on a higher positions in top. Few more years and he would be ready to compete with fighters like RDA, Dariush, probably McGregor.

Shavkat is a modest version of Chimaev. Just look in his kind eyes. Mark my words, fighters with a furry hats are extremely dangerous. Neil Magny probably gonna use his best tactics - winning by points. More than a half of his wins are achieved by judge decision. Unlimited gas tank. But that wont help against Shavkat.

I am also looking forward to those two main fights aswell and for the Main Event I think this could be a very close fight well just judging by their record and the way they fight, but I will surely get a deep dive on Arman Tsarukyan for further analysis, on what he can do,

And just like you, I also like Shavkat Rakhmonov, and yes he is compared to Khamzat Chimaev, and just like Chimaev, Rakhmonov also is ready and game whoever was given to him to fight and saying if he and Chimaev could clash he will definitely be giving him a fight hard fight and he will be ready for him, and he is annoyed at Khamzat Chimaev if he was asked about the guy,

Another right that I like was the Nathan Maness VS Umar Nurmagomedov, the fight I am thrilled about what is now the condition of the Kicking Nurmagomedov that I am curious about, that is a change of style for a sambo fighter, and I really love to see it,

Completely wrecked it for me. I hate losing my accumulator on the first fight, just takes all the extra tension out of the night. Although, luckily as I said this particular fight night really did deliver.

I'm going to try, and get tickets on one of the London ones. Maybe, when Aspinall or some of the Welsh fighters are due on next. I just know its expensive, and then its travelling to London, which I can tell you now I bloody hate. Hate Cities, but I've never been to an actual event, and it's probably over due the amount I actually watch these days.

Yeah, I think I saw leea mention in one of the other UFC prediction threads it's a record KO for a single card. Did see at least one match got cancelled too, so could have been even higher. Definitely a treat -- unless you're the kind who likes fights that go the distance and/or submission, nothing beats a KO for me though Wink

Didn't bet, but I actually predicted most of the clear favourites, so doubt I even came close to being in the sniff for a prize.

Each and every one of us here has different taste in what we prefer to see in a fight and for me, it really doesn't matter as long as the fighter has a technicality in his moves and controls over a fight no matter what is the outcome may be, at first I don't really like the fight going to the ground, I always like the brawl, but after seeing Khabib Nurmagomenodov fight I was really in love with the importance of the ground game, and right now fighters are more on the technicality of the fight and it is reaching over to higher divisions, mostly Heavyweight is more on a 1st round knockout but now because of Cyril Gane, the fight has turned into a new path more likely to counter those fighters that don't have a plan,

Fuck me.  Daukas is my pie shitter of the week.  I'm out.  I'll watch the replay later.

Edit:  Ok I lied, I'm still watching.  Lol.  And all of these fights so far have been great!  This is a way better event than 275.

Pretty Much I am laughing the way you have said that, it was truly a great upset for the crowd favorite Kyle Daukaus was Knockout on the 1st round Roman Dolidze have rocked Daukaus with that sweet left hook, and a recovering Daukaus then got by that Knee to the face that really knocks him out, it was really a shitty fight if you bet for Kyle Daukaus,

Horrible night for predictions, for the most part anyway. However, we've been proper spoiled the last two weeks. I'm not sure what the record is of finishes per card, but surely this one has to be up there? In between the quick knockouts we had some competitive fights. Pretty much exactly what you want when you tune in. I don't there was a bad fight in there. Some pretty dominant performance, but at the same time still being rather entertaining.

I did end up betting, but lost on the first fight with that bloody knee.

All fights results:

Not too long of an event, and a good one at that.

I am a bit surprised that Kattar didn't show more domination in the standup :/ I could have seen this going in Emmet's favor if it was a grappling match, but I really thought Kattar had him on the feet.

And it's always nice to see a D'Arce in a match, props to Hollan for taking it.

We don't see that in every event. Among the impressive fight besides Hollands was Ramos with his spinning back elbow. Its perfectly precise, it can't be his game plan. It must have taken much training to time that kind of attack.

I didn't listen to what was told by the predictions so I still go Kattar. It wasn't so bad though. Maybe if some other judge, it will be in his favor.

Well, I think we can all settle down and move on with what happened to the last event and on that controversial decision that happened I don't really like what the judges decided for Calvin Kattar losing, this indeed happens if you leave the results on the judges, but moving forward is another exciting fight and I know that many will love what is installed at us next,

Ismagulov continued the match by boxing more and pushing his opponent. Kutateladze also tried to block him with good low kicks, both of them had good mobility and head movement. I think it was a very good match.

Buckley coordinated the match with tremendous explosive force. He almost showed off, he didn't let his opponent wrestle, he defended well. At the end of the 2nd round, the doctors did not allow him to continue because his eyes were closed. Buckley was the winner.

And speaking of the main game, the rounds were very close in the Katter-Emmet match. I hardly saw a kick in the Mac. It was almost like a boxing match. He threw good left jab while maintaining a great distance throughout the match.

A really difficult fight, Cerrone has a series of losses and he is old, but he has practice in the ring, and Lauzon wants to return to the ring after such a long break, which is also very difficult. I can’t give a significant advantage to any fighter, but I think that two years without fights is a very big minus for a fighter, and that’s the only reason I will give preference to Cerrone, who should finally win.

Unfortunately, the fight was canceled due to Joe Lauzon, Leg Cramps he couldn't stand and walk so they need to carry him outside for the UFC doctors to check on him, and they have tried everything for the fight but yeah it was a Bummer,

But if the fight continued it will be a very difficult choice on who could win, but having something before the fight was very difficult for Lauzon and he feels sorry for Cerrone and for all the fans,

Here are the Results for the UFC Fight Night Kattar VS Emmett

Calvin Kattar VS Josh Emmett Decision Round 5 - LOST

This is I say a very controversial fight, and I really don't agree about the judge's decision, definitely, Calvin Kattar should have won that fight but it was a very close fight and a very important fight for Calvin Kattar because if he wins this he can get a title shot on the fight between Volkanovski and Holloway but because of the judge bad decision the title shot could eventually go to Josh Emmett, I really think Sal D'Amato and Chris Lee didn't really judge correctly in my opinion,

Donald Cerrone VS Joe Lauzon - CANCELLED

The fight was canceled due to Joe Lauzon having leg cramps, which enables him to stand and walk but Joe Lauzon has given him sorry to Cerrone and the fans, here is his VIDEO explanation about what happened.

Maria Oliveira VS Gloria de Paula Decision Round 3 - LOST

Maria Oliveira is a real powerhouse, the combination she has landed on de Paula was really giving her points, but I think Gloria de Paula becomes aggressive when she thinks she is behind on the score cards but surely another loss for me Maria Oliveira experience really proves that she is a caliber fighter than de Paula,

~ Really underrated card in my opinion. There's some absolute wars in those match ups, could we get some absolutely memorable, from top to bottom event back to back? Because last weeks was brilliant from a entertainment perspective.
~ And all of these fights so far have been great!  This is a way better event than 275.
9 finishes out of 13 fights.

Tied for most KO's in a UFC event.

Gross revenue at $1.9 Billion which is said to be the highest in US Fight Night history.

Happy retirement to Zabit Magomedsharipov. He's definitely one of the mot entertaining Russian MMA fighters and could have been a UFC champ at Featherweight if not for the injuries.

I saw this pic from a Facebook page and the funny quote from the comments:

Good win there by Josh Emmett. I thought he's gonna fade big time in the championship rounds and Kattar will start dealing damaging blows and maybe stop him, but he did well especially in the last round. The fight could go either way but I thought Kattar might win it close. Maybe next is Brian Ortega or Yair Rodriguez then a title fight shot? He is not getting any younger.

Okay back to ESPN's big boxing show. Life of a fight fan. Cheesy
