^  At 145, no Ladd won’t have any issues but at 135, she has had issues.  She also had a hard time standing up on the scale by herself in that match vs GDR.  She’s a big girl so she should prolly either get a nutritionist or just fight at 145 where she can make weight without issues.

So my final my picks are Andrew Sanchez at 2.36 rn and Arlovski at 1.91.  I have a funny feeling Landwehr at 3.90 will make it close.  But it feels iffy..  I’ll decide in a couple of hours.  Lol.

Has anyone noticed though, that weight misses were much more prominent during the highs of Covid? I haven't looked at the statistics to verify that, but I'm pretty sure that we are getting less than we were a few months ago. I'm wondering whether unreported Covid19 cases during camps contributed to it.

I'm also going for Aspen Ladd for those odds. I'm not sure why they are priced to highly? I wasn't expecting shorter odds in this fight.

I haven't noticed it as well, and if there are records on how many have missed weight this year, but when you google it you will surely notice that there are really many fighters that have miss weight during weigh-in's

I really think Aspen Ladd is a good choice as well, being the most experienced fighter than Norma Dumont and have good takedowns and wrestling as well, it is sure prominent to bet for Aspen Ladd, but I will go with Norma Dumont, just to be on the risk side, and I am feeling kind of lucky for this, and for that extra sum because of the odds, and in the preliminary card I will go with Lupita Godinez, now that is one girl first time to fight 7 days apart prior to her previews fight.

Agreed, however as @tokeweed mentioned her weight was a problem when she tried to cheat her weigh in for her original fight vs. Macy Chiasson, according Miesha Tate. Is this uncle Dana’s move of creating another storyline for Miesha Tate vs. Aspen Ladd through his pet Miesha?

UFC bantamweight Aspen Ladd has had her share of weight-cutting struggles throughout her four-year UFC run. The latest issue took place this past weekend prior to her scheduled UFC Vegas 38 bout against Macy Chiasson.

The following day, Miesha Tate reacted to Ladd’s statement. Needless to say, the former bantamweight champion did not give her peer a pass for missing weight. In fact, she believes there was a visible element of deception at play from the 26-year-old.

“It’s one thing to miss weight, it’s another thing to try and cheat the scale and use every excuse in the book to not weigh in properly. Everyone saw you cheat and still came in a lb over. I bet you were every bit of 139,” Tate’s tweet reads.

Here is my pick for the event Ariane Carnelossi, Danaa Batgerel, Ludovit Klein, Lupita Godinez even though she is a replacement because i was surprised with her submission skills in her most recent fight,  Ramazan Emeev, Bruno Silva, Julian Marquez, Mayra Bueno Silva, Jim Miller, Carlos Felipe and Aspen Ladd .

I might go for a parlay with multiple combination and i might go with Bruno Silva and Julian Marquez, Lupita Godinez in a parlay.

One more day left for MMA weekend and after checking face-offs and some interviews I don't have much better idea for winners, so it's going to be coin fliping.

The line for Aspen Ladd is slightly improving.  If it hits 1.85 - 1.90 or something near pickem or better, that’s an auto bet imho...  Even before weigh ins.  But I don’t think she’ll be having any problems with weight later since the match will be at 145.

Live weigh in starts in a couple of hours.

Well, Aspen Ladd never have any issue with her weight but Norma Dumont, in my opinion, may have an issue or may miss her weight just like what happens with her match against Ashlee Evans-Smith and looking when she is switching to another Division to fight and the Bantamweight division would require to lower your weight, there might be another miss weight again, but this is just my speculation, but I really like Aspen Ladd, but for this one, Norma Dumont is an unknown individual that I think might be a threat to Aspen Ladd, Dumont is really new to UFC but her explosiveness is really showing.

Jon Jones got temporarily banned from his gym JacksonWin as per Mike Winkeljohn until he gets his shit together. This just seems so ungenuine coming from a guy that supposedly hid Jon Jones beneath the ring in their training facility when USADA came 10 years ago XD JaksonWink seems to just be doing this to satisfy the superficial critics. I don't think they care what Jones did, it looks like they were just forced to do this by the public. Standard cringe move by that camp.
People also change throughout their lives, so he may just have changed his views, which you have to respect. Though, of course this might mean there's no incentive for him to hide these types of things anymore, which isn't as respectable. On the surface of it though it appears he has does the right thing. Though, it's likely a PR move rather than anything else, but even so when you have one of the best fighters that have entered the UFC, and potentially wanting a return, it takes guts to actually suspend them, because that could effect their chance of earning some money from it.

I don't know wtf are this guys doing but getting drunk and then beating women for whatever reason is crazy, and they are damaging all MMA sport with this behaviour.
After Jon Jones and Chuck Liddell now we have one more domestic violence and arrest of mma fighter Luis Pena in Florida, and 911 audio call of his girlfriend was released for everyone to listen, after he punched her in the face:
https://www.tmz.com/2021/10/12/luis-pena-violent-bob-ross-ufc-911-call-domestic-violence-arrest/

This is just sad, and a little disappointing for fighters to use their skill and strength to hurt their partners or used force on anyone that may not want to fight back at them, well, domestic violence can certainly happen to anyone and I think it is just a coincidence that most reports was from MMA fighters, but this issue is pretty common and there are cases like this every year and it is surely happening, It is about power and control over their victim that is why they are doing that, and sometimes it can be triggered with certain objects or events and with certain MMA fighters I think they would sometimes shift their anger to their partners that is likely for someone that they feel frustrated with or their recent opponent they can not beat, it is all psychological so certainly they need help not only the victim but the attacker as well.

Maybe they do maybe they don't, but Wink's response feels disingenuous and not really tackling the issue at hand. A slap on the wrist at best. And as the issue was when Jon received his first suspension, his gym trainers will just come to his home and train with him there. Whatever is going on, Jon has lost all credibility at this point.

Add me up on the ones that I think Jons had certainly lost credibility and this violence may surely happen again, is for sure if this kind of act happens it will surely continue, attackers would surely want to practice their authority, power, and control over their partners, and this is a psychological problem, in my opinion, surely Jon Jones needs Psychological help.

Maybe that gym really knows what happens in detail to the domestic violence that has been the case on Jon Jones, while Coach Jackson and Coach Gibson will still train Jones but as long as Jones keeps his commitment to getting healthy and have a positive lifestyle, although Jon Jones is still suspended with Jackson Wink Academy team, pretty much there are still people keep pushing this Issue even though Jon Jones has stated that the allegations are not real and his fiancee is not going to file any case regarding it, My take with this I think the Coaches of Jon Jones should be interviewed to really clarify what happens because I think they surely know something.

Lol the books are on to you.  The over 2.5 is around 1.50 and the fight goes to decision prop is at around 1.60 depending on the book.

And the match itself is a coin flip.  Felipe opened at 2.40 then the line dropped down to where it is today and still dropping.  I’m leaning Felipe but if the line for Arlovski goes to 2.30 and up, I’m value betting Arlovski.
I knew it. Whenever I think there's money to be heard going by the above logic, the bookmakers decide to exactly for what I was planning on betting making it pointless to bet on the fight. I think I'll just watch the fight, and give it a miss in terms of betting then.

Yeah I get that too from time to time.  I’m really having second thoughts in my initial leans.  I feel like the dogs are barking for this event but when I start looking into them I’m not too sure.  I like Davis but really still some question marks as he just got back after a long lay off.  I’m back and forth between Silva and Sanchez..  Sanchez’s line is starting to look good but then we don’t know which Sanchez shows up.  But if it’s a wrestling heavy Sanchez he could make it sloppy and win.  I also like Jordan Wright but he has a bad gas tank and he’s chinny.  And back and forth between Felipe and Arlovski too..  These matches vs up and coming fighters Arlovski can win but not much value.

So I guess to get max value, I’d go Davis, Sanchez via decision, Wright round 1 and Arlovski via decision.

I usually ignore preliminaries but this is the only fight that stood out for me because of Bruno Silva's fight highlights that I saw recently. This should have been in the main card IMO. Anyway, who is your pick? Appreciate it if you could add some basic analogy/explanation.
To be honest, UFC is one of the only sports which I can watch all events. I don't actually like watching boxing all that much, and am more of a casual fan. I don't watch the under cards, and I'm one of those people that turn up for the big names. In the MMA, I like to watch almost every fight that happens, including other competitions that aren't UFC. I don't know, you could say I'm hooked. I said the last fights didn't look good, and I wasn't particularly hyped, and prioritised the Fury match up, but due to it being on at a different time I actually watched every fight.

Aspen Ladd VS Norma Dumont

It is weird why a fresh face like Norma Dumont got to fight a well-known fighter Aspen Ladd but after that fight against Felicia Spencer that is from the Featherweight division Norma Dumont was recognize to fight a high experience fighter in the Bantamweight, Pretty much Norma Dumont is changing Division every time she fights, her debut fight from UFC is against Megan Anderson that is in Featherweight and lost to Anderson, next was against Ashlee Evans-Smith that is Bantamweight, and win from her next is Featherweight Felicia Spencer that she also won from it, and now Against Aspen Ladd that is a Bantamweight again,

Well, I really like Aspen Ladd with a good Amateur career and a great record in the professional as well I can say that Ladd has a decent experience and Ladd also had decent wrestling and some striking as well But I am pretty concerned about Dumont's behavior in changing weight class everytime she fight and I am intrigued about it and yes Dumont has a pretty scary striking, so even though I like Ladd I may go with Norma Dumont for the bet, and against the odds on stake.com Ladd with 1.77 and Dumont with 2.11 if Norma Dumont wins then I will get extra because of the odds.

Venue: UFC Apex

Main card (ESPN / ESPN+)
Women's Featherweight: Aspen Ladd vs. Norma Dumont
Heavyweight: Andrei Arlovski vs. Carlos Felipe
Lightweight: Jim Miller vs. Erick Gonzalez
Women's Flyweight: Manon Fiorot vs. Mayra Bueno Silva
Middleweight: Julian Marquez vs. Jordan Wright

Preliminary card (ESPN2 / ESPN+)
Middleweight: Andrew Sanchez vs.Bruno Silva
Welterweight: Danny Roberts vs. Ramazan Emeev
Women's Flyweight: Sijara Eubanks vs. Luana Carolina
Featherweight: Nate Landwehr vs. Ľudovít Klein
Bantamweight: Danaa Batgerel vs. Brandon Davis
Women's Strawweight: Istela Nunes vs. Ariane Carnelossi
I'm liking this card, as long as there's no late pull outs due to Covid19 or otherwise,  I think it'll be a competitive night across the board. Particularly interested in the  Andrew Sanchez vs Bruno Silva, glad that'll be in the Apex. I've quite liked what I've seen from Sijara Eubanks previously, and think she'll do well here. I'd say a pretty good start to the night for the preliminaries.

Main card, has some good match ups too. The main event will of course be entertaining, and I'm sure some of the more casual fans will be complaining about there being another womans fight headlining, but I've never really understood that attitude. Recently, their fights have been some of the more exicint ones.

I am definitely gonna watch Arlovski vs Felipe fight. Arlovski is experienced, but old. Once he was UFC champion, now he looks old I must say. Belly starts to appear. Felipe is young, fat and dangerous. He has a good UFC record of 3-1 (11-1 overall). This will be young vs experienced.

I'm fancying a go the distance bet here. I'll check the odds later, but them being on the heavier side, and having a oldie against a young fighter, might give us some good odds.
