Who you guys got for the main event?  I’m thinking Sakai via decision at 4.5.  Not sure how much the price is at crypto books when they open.

And I don’t think I’ll be having strong opinions in most of these bouts.  But I’ll be fading Tybura and Baeza.  Harris is somewhat of a step up for Tybura and same for Ponz vs Baeza.

So something that came out of left field, did anyone see that Rockhold is training with Jason Parillo and with Bisping? Smiley Bisping is not training actively anymore, but he is still there when Bisping is. The comments on Bispings Instagram post about Rockhold glass chin are hilarious. What's next, Khabib and Conor going on vacation together? Can't wait for those photos.
Michael Bisping is a really cool person and he is usually friendly if you are not his opponent and Luke Rockhold is now training in his gym and with Michael Bisping retired there is no point in having that heat and there are videos of them together joking around but the situation with Khabib is different, he does have a group of individuals who he considered as family and there is no way Khabib and Conor are going to be friends  Cheesy.

But we can not say for sure if Khabib or Conor is secretly exchanging message that they might be best buddies in something, well there is sure bad blood between both men back on UFC 229 where Conor Mc Gregor threw things like a Trash can, chair, hand truck on Khabib's bus that have led them to UFC 229, Maybe this is just a marketing stunt or true bad blood, but after a while, Conor Mc Gregor has congratulated and says his condolences to Khabib Nurmagomenovod when he won against Justin Gaethje and announcing his retirement,

I am not so sure and I may be wrong but this is just a maybe that these two athletes can sure coexist as a friendly rivalry.

Btw, I saw rumors Usman and Masvidal are going to have a third fight. From earning point of view this fight can generate good profit. From competition point of view, everything was already proved to everyone.

Where did you hear that? Seem unlikely.

Was watching news via youtube blogger and he said that there are rumors that such fight is in development.

What's next, Khabib and Conor going on vacation together? Can't wait for those photos.

I think that you will never see photos like that Cheesy They prefer different way of vacation (joke). Khabib still trains and wrestles with his team and friends, mostly to help them before their fight. And he is busy with his promotion Eagle Fighting Championship. There was an even this Saturday and he gave an interview. It was seen that he was either very exhausted being a promotion or is tired of all this media life.

Rest In Peace to a promising fighter Fau Vake he is Israel Adesanya's teammate and gym brother despite it is an assault from the back the people responsible didn't think that someone will die from that kind of unseen punch, Israel Adesanya and Dan Hooker have attended his funeral, I think the assaulter still is unknown and at large, Fau Vake is a promising MMA fighter and a natural one when it comes to what he does, Maybe Vake is readying himself to enter in UFC but the tragic thing happens and Vake didn't recover from the assault.
It was a really unfortunate incident, i thought the sucker punch was inside the gym but now reports are coming out as if someone sucker punched while he was waiting for a taxi and i think four people are arrested in this regard according to news reports and i hope they get serious punishment for the muder.

I too want a serious punishment to the four assaulted who did this to Vake, and I think the assaulters were now being held by the authority, and there will be a debate for law on coward punch but I guess it will take a long way for it to become a law, as of now I think one of the assaulters chared with common assault, another with wounding with intent and injuring with intent and another with assault with intent to injure and investigation will likely follow up further charges.

After a fight to coma, Fau Vake has left his partner with their 3-year-old daughter I wish that the charges will not be taken lightly even if it is intentional or not 4 of his assaulters should all faces equal punishments.

They shouldn't been hostile to Dana, they don't bite the hands that feed them. Only this man feels like he has more power than the head. It's not surprising they are going to clash after he refuses to fight a match. He uses to be a good fighter, I was expecting him to fight Anderson Silva back when Silva was in his prime but not happen.
Jon Jones is the best fighter we have seen and no one will have a debate about that, Jon Jones is in a position where he fights whenever he likes and it has everything to do with the personal issues he had in the past. Anderson Silva and GSP was the fight everyone wanted to see but that never happened and there is no way Anderson Silva would pose any challenge to Jon Jones even in his prime and Jon Jones had a strong line of challengers in his division and it was one of the toughest division when he was the champion.

To be honest, I'm not to bothered if Jon Jones doesn't care about the sport. I mean, if we look at Conor Mcgregor he's not exactly an advocate for loving the UFC. In fact, it does seem like a lot of the bigger fighters are actually hostile to Dana.

What I care about is good fights, and I know Jon might be considered a legend by many, I just don't think he will bring good fights to the current division. The last few fights he was in were....not great. Unfortunately, he's not a fighter we really remember for great fights, he's become to the guy we remember for being controversial. Don't get me wrong, a great fighter. I just don't know, maybe I'm a little bias.

Then UFC is not the best place to end his career. He is not McGregor size star. If he wants to get paid and retire, then he should try to sell himself in boxing Cheesy Do some hype, challenge some douchebag (sorry for my bad English, I meant youtuber), eat a punch and get guaranteed millions.
Jon Jones never fights the same way twice and he always changes his reactions and his kicks are a big part of his game and he is not known for his elite striking skills on a boxing level but he can incorporate different attacks. No one in the right sense will challenge or call out Jon Jones apart from champions or other high level fighters wanted to test their skills against the best fighter in the world.

The problem Jon Jones i having is that he is not a big crowd puller and the only times he was able to attract big crowd was his rivalry against Daniel Cormier and that might be the reason Dana White is not willing to increase his pay day even if he is willing to move up the division.

^  Well he did have a good start.  He was undefeated, gifted, good looking and had a good image back then.  But he f*cked it all up in one night.  That’s why the UFC will never ever pay him at the price he wants.  He could’ve been the poster boy of the UFC.
There is no doubt about all these and during his reign before getting into trouble he was showcasing a good boy image while the rest of the fighters and anyone who knew him could see straight through his fake persona he was trying to show to the world and i was of the opinion that if Jon Jones was showing his real character from the start he could be have being a much bigger star.

Anyway, everybody should go watch this match again.  It was close between Adesnya and Vettori.  Vettori priced at 3ish maybe slightly more in some books could be value.

I don't even know why he would even deserve a title shot (which is what people seem to be speculating about). He's been out for too long now in my opinion. UFC is moving on from Jon Jones, and I think thats what he doesn't like about it.
I don't think he deserves title shot anymore, and I could see him losing from several fighters even if he comes back in light-heavyweight category, that is now more interesting than ever without him.
His last fight was in 2020 against Dominick Reyes, he was not so impressive even after he won, and he beat Thiago Santos with split decision.
That means he will have more than two years break from fighting, and I see he now hired a new advisor Richard Schaefer after split with old managers.

We discarded Jon in the past when he took such long breaks, but he always proved us wrong. Sure, he has gotten older, but somehow he always seems to step up to the challenge and win by not a small margin. I can't really say what to expect next, but I think he is not done.

^  Jon Jones just wants to get paid and retire.  He really doesn’t care much about the UFC or the sport.  And I think the UFC brass is on to him.  That’s why he’s never getting the deal he wants.  He was offered to fight Miocic as some sort tune up fight but turned it down.

He thinks he is some kind of superstar imposing on who's he going to fight. but he is not calling the shot here, he can not barge on that he is in control on who's going to fight because Dana White is still the one calling the shot,

I think this is really the end for him, even though he still has a fans that wants to see him fight in the octagon there is a limitation in being like that in having a bad habit on things.

It looks like Jon Jones is not even interested to fight or have the motivation to win the championship belt or even compete and it is sad to see the biggest talent in MMA history is getting a lukewarm treatment from fans and the promoters as well and he might be looking for a few high profile fights and then retire.

Dana White just said that Diego Sanchez still have the chance to fight one more time in UFC after he parted with ways with his guru coach Joshua Fabia.
It would be interesting to see him maybe with Donald Cerrone or some other legendary fighter, maybe rematch with Al Iaquinta or Nick Diaz would be nice.
That is great news and Joshua Fabia proved how a piece of shit person he is after trashing Diego Sanchez after the breakup and i would like to see him fight Donal Derrone as he is also on a loosing streak and that would be a great fight.

I was more tongue in cheek with my remark, but I would disagree with you that any Bellator card a UFC lower-tier card. There were some piss poor UFC cards and at times Bellator offered more interesting fights by less known fighters. Is that the norm? No, but that's why my comment was a bit cheeky Smiley However, in no way were all UFC dumpster fire cards better than any Bellator card.
What cards do you have in mind in the UFC that were bad? I've been watching a long time, and there's always been at least one or two entertaining fights. Although, I'll admit I'm a fan of the sport, the multi discipline side, rather than just individuals in the sport. I understand, that many might think a certain event is bad, if they only watch their favorite fighters. For example, the Costa VS Adesanya fight recently, may be considered quite bad, as nothing really happened until it was over. Plus, Costa just didn't seem to want to engage.

However, the prelims, and other main card fights on that card were pretty damn good.

Costa never fight again after Adesanya fight, seem a good fighter to me but their match was a disappointing. did Dana rejected him after seeing he isnt engaging?  the leg kicks made him immobile.

I did bet on bellator sometime, cyborg i think will have a fight soon. maybe Jon Jones also need to move there if he misses the spotlight but he shouldn't expect high pay.
