Just placed my bet on Tony at 2.41. I don't know but it's probably just out of respect. This should be the last fight of his career whether he wins or not. Those legs aren't going to last longer and I'm pretty sure it will be attacked again by Dariush.

I'm staying out of the Oliveira-Chandler fight.
Probably a wise choice to stay out of the Oliveria VS Chandler fight. Chandler hasn't got enough experience in the UFC to actually judge him on previous fights, and that probably is difficult for Oliveria too not just the fans. I feel that Oliveria will get the job done, but I expect a close fight.

I'm going for old man Ferguson too. Proper warrior, and I just can't bet against the man I like him too much.

I'm sorry, but I think you are going to lose that bet. Tony has 2 losses in a row, while Darioush is in a good series of 6 wins. Tony's career ended long time ago, when failed to meet Khabib. Last fights Darioush finished by submission or by KO. I just hope he wont hurt Tony badly in his last fight (I'm pretty much sure it will be his last), coz Tony would not tap and will stand up even with a bloody face or being badly injured.

Yeah, but Ferguson didn't get his ass completely handed to him. Okay, Justin did smash him up to pieces,  but Ferguson also sat Justin down. Its not like he wasn't in the fight at all. Justin is a massive puncher too, and it was called off due to him wobbling a bit if my memory serves me correctly, he didn't knock him out per say. I can't remember the Oliveira fight as well, but I think I remember it going to a decision? So, the guys tough, and still has it in him for sure. Plus, don't forget before these two recent losses, he was on a win streak himself. A rather large one actually, more than 10?

Michael Chandler is an impressive fighter and I have seen the way he fights albeit it still needs some polishing on his strikes, I think that we are looking at a future champion.
Hopefully he could be the champion but Charles Oliveira is a really tough opponent and both have their strengths in this match up as both are good at stand up as well as on the ground and Charles Oliveira is known for his submission skills as well.

~
Are you 100% sure that other organizations were on the same level as UFC? He has only 1 fight under UFC and already a top contender for a title fight.
Take Islam Makhachev for example. 8-0 in UFC but havent fought anyone from real top. I think he deserves to be closer for title fight than Chandler. I could understand that he deserves title fight so quickly in UFC because he held or given away his Bellator belt. But he had lost his title to Patrício Freire by TKO in first minute of first round.
The champions could hang and become a champion in any organization if they are high level in each aspect of the fight game and no one will say that Michael Chandler never fought high level opponents, Islam Makhachev is finding it hard to get top contenders, he is yet to defeat anyone in the top ten while Michael Chandler defeated a ranked opponent. I said this earlier, Michael Chandler was the back up fighter for the belt for UFC 254 main event which means he was already signed with the UFC to get the title opportunity directly or within a few fights and that is why he got the title shot just after one fight.

Patrício Freire is another high level fighter who never fought in the UFC and if he do that he can become the UFC champion as well as he is a high level elite fighter and he is not having any worthy opponents in Bellator.

So, are we really counting out Ferguson already? I'm actually a fan of him, he will fight anyone, and although he did definitely get pieced up by Justin, he always brings a fight. Don't forget it wasn't like it was completely clean sailing for Justin, he also got dropped if my memory serves me correctly. "Old" man Ferguson still has it in him yet, and I believe while not being favorite here, he has more of a chance that people are letting on.

Old man Ferguson that is a good one, I really like Tony Ferguson to win against Beneil Dariush because I really don't know Dariush that much, and this time it is a really crucial fight for him and for people to gain trust again that he can sure come back from this, I really hate to say it but I don't really want to compare him to any fighter but he is no level of Nurmagomenodov that is for sure, but this time if he lose in this match sad to say I think it is bye-bye for him.

Ferguson is somewhat of a step up for Dariush imo.  Leaning Ferguson but I’m staying away from the betting market.  It’s a popcorn fight.

From a betting perspective I’m looking at Pickett at 1.96, Grundy at 1.85, Barboza at 2.22, Araujo at 2.24 and Chandler 2.22.  I might just do a parlay and get 40.03 for my bet.

Yup! it really is a step up for Dariush and a let down for Ferguson if he doesn't prove himself in this fight, and just like you I am staying away from betting as well I can not read if Ferguson had learned from his previous fights and he might use what he learned in this fight, Or Beniel Dariush will win this, I really don't want Tony Ferguson to quit without even proving himself that all is not lost, but I can not see any hint that he can win this one as well so I would just go with the Main Event.

In my opinion, Charles Oliveira can take the win here I believe it will be a good fight but Oliveira is an all-rounder he has good striking and can also take the fight on the ground so no doubt Oliveira will win, and if you look the odds on stake.com the odds is in favor for Beniel Dariush and Charles Oliveira.

it will always remind me what happen to chandler against will brook where he seem to dont know where he was and simply waves his hands like he is saying NO.  hes a good wrestler so its the take down that olivera has to watchout.

true. ferguson isnt as good as he was years ago. time has come but wish him a win or two before retiring.

Michael Chandler is a high profile fighter and he was a multiple time champion in other promotions and he was the back up fighter on the Khabib and Justin Gaethje fight card and if he can be the back up championship fighter he is the next in line for the belt and he did not sit idle as he fought Dan Hooker and finished him in impressive fashion and that warranted the title shot.

Are you 100% sure that other organizations were on the same level as UFC? He has only 1 fight under UFC and already a top contender for a title fight.

You are right on that. Sure, there have been outliers like Gaethje or Alvarez that came from other organizations and actually had a good run, but for the most part, the level is just not the same, so I would rather see Chandler grind it out a bit more than just get thrown in with Charlie Olivs. But, that's what happens when a champion in a division vacates the title, a power vacume.

I'm not feeling Chandler in this match up, and I'm thinking it might be worth a punt on Ferguson the more that I look at it. Don't get me wrong, Dariush is a decent fighter, but I'm thinking Ferguson can just edge the decision win just through the war of attrition.

I'm currently looking at some of the footage on some of these fighters on the card. Although, I'm seeing a lot of the underdogs winning this weekend, which could be a good week for us punters.

LOL you really think many people will watch a twenty minutes video interview of a poor average featherweight fighter(less than 145lb/66kg) from Georgia to check if he really tells bullshit? If he likes to spread nonsense fakenews that's up to him, but I can guarantee you won't see him at the next UFC, if you want we can bet on that.

Sorry I was thinking that you are blind, but now I just think that you are really stupid old scam promoter and I am not betting anything with scammers.
Saying that number ten featherweight fighter with record 13-2 and 8 wins in a row is average and poor is just telling how poor shitposter you are.

But there is something to discuss here, and that is that the lower divisions always had issues as being on the fringe with the top fighters in that divisions sometimes getting treated as lower-ranked fighters in other divisions. I guess people still have that sentiment.

Poor guy, you don't need to insult and to defame me with off-topic bullshit accusations when you realize you are wrong. If you really wanted to bet against me you could take an escrow. And I would demand it anyway.

Michael Chandler looking good on the embedded vlog. might bet some on him if the rates are great.
Odds are quite interesting if you think he has big chances to win : 2.2 for him vs 1.8 for Oliveira. Bookmakers expect a tight fight obviously, I'm not sure to bet on anyone this time.

I heard that Giga Chikadze is ready to jump in next UFC 262 in featherweight or lightweight category if some fighter drops out and he will support his teammate Beneil Dariush.
Bookmakers made Dariush a big favorite against Tony Ferguson and I expect to see bloody interesting 3 rounds, but my main bet is going to be Charles Oliveira to win.
Man is ready and eager to fight, he also asked UFC to allow him to fight in just finished card UFC Vegas 26 because he is still staying in United States.
You can listen to his latest interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EMLRoXDQ4k

There might be 3 bloody rounds for El Cucuy vs. Beneil Dariush hehehe. I predict El Cucuy to be removed from the UFC after another loss. How many fights more in his present contract? Also, Dana’s purchase of Chandler’s contract from Bellator is an indication that Dana has shuffled down Gaethje and El Cucuy from the line for championship fights.

Btw, who is Chandler in UFC? 1 UFC fight and already top5 and in a race for a title? I think he does not deserve that. I'm gonna cheer for Oliveira. He has 8 wins in a row, he deserves to be the champ. Face Khabib after and lose, making him farewell fight with 30-0 Cheesy

I have already counted him out when he has returned to ufc after his mental problems. He is no longer in hin prime. And his training style? While everyone have camps, ufc training center, Tony trains alone, at home, probably by watching Blood Sport and Karate kid vhs.

Trash talking won't make your champion, the little Giga Chikadze, a great fighter and his unrealistic fake news, relevant statements. I offered you to bet on his presence at UFC262, but obviously you don't seem to be so confident in your claims anymore lol
