Weigh in results...  Bontorin had a bad weight cut, so a Schnell bet could prolly be good.  And it’s funny cos Bontorin really fights at 125 and be misses weight at 135?
Not sure, but I can never really root for someone who missed weight. I'm staying away from that fight anyway, as I couldn't really determine who I think will win. I've got a pretty big accumulator on as I do every weekend. I always lose, but it at least makes the fights more fun.

8 fold with a 17k payout. Low stakes. The other accumulator is around a 30k payout for around 20 pound stake. Can't wait to lose some more money today boys, and girls!

I can't believe that they put Jacare Souza in Prelims but that only means you should start watching this event early, and this all Brazillian fight will tell us if Souza should retire or not.
He lost last 3 fights and Muniz who is ten years younger has six wins in a row and two in UFC, but bookmakers still made Souza a favorite in this fight.
Shane Burgos vs Edson Barboza should be one of the best fights on this card except main and co-main event.

Right guys, big night tonight. Very excited to see a lot of these fights, and there's some tasty prelims too. Here's my predictions:

Christos Giagos (Decision)  2.00
Tucker Lutz (TKO) 5.00
Priscila Cachoeira (Decision) 4.50
Jamie Pickett (TKO) 2.88
Antonina Shevchenko (Decision) 2.10
Lando Vannata (TKO) 5.50
Fight to go the distance with Katlyn Chookagian VS Viviane Araujo 1.30
Fight to go distance with Dariush VS Old man Ferguson 1.80

As you can probably tell I'm really feeling some of the underdogs tonight. In particular I'm quite confident that Ferguson will at least be standing at the end of the fight, but I did opt to not go for a decision win for him on one of my accumulators, but its worth mentioning on the other I have him winning by decision. Oliveria VS Chandler I've decided to leave out of my betting tonight. Although, the closer the fight is getting I'm thinking that Chandler might just edge it.

I haven't checked the odds for this yet, bu tit might be worth placing a bet on the fight doing the distance between Ferguson VS Oliveria. Ferguson is tough, and I imagine a lot of the time will be spent on the mat which I expect Ferguson just about to survive. I think there will be some close submissions, but as we know even when Ferguson gets caught in a submission he isn't quick to tap unless Oliveria actually puts him to sleep.

I'm still going for my man Ferguson.

Do doubt Ferguson is tough. But the number of injuries he had (specially knee injury) is going to play a lot this fight. As Dariush is a BJJ, and Tony does not tap in situations like this, I have a feeling that this during this fight he will get an injury worse than this.

Who knows though, that might just be talk I haven't heard any reports about it, and it could have just been an intimidation tactic that back fired on Ferguson. I actually liked the way Dariush handled most of the press conference, just oozed class.

Yeah maybe he just acted, but my gut feeling is telling me that Ferguson is not mentally stable now and that his biggest problem is not his great fighting skills but his mental state.

Agreed. We might witness an ending in El Cucuy’s career in the UFC. He is also 37 years old. Dana has been dumping his old assets.

It is also another sex kitten fight week gentlemen hehehe. Andrea Lee will fight Valentina Shevchenko’s sister Antonina who is not a sex kitten like her younder sister hehehehe.

I'm not sure I could judge him based on his press conferences or his general attitude in the fight game. There's too many egos talking to be able to actually determine someones mental state. What makes you think his mental state is deteriorating? I'm assuming its been influenced by the recent beatings hes taken, especially from Justin?

He was talking that he hurt his student in training and acted like crazy while Dariush was very calm.
Yeah, I didn't like that part. If it is true, like Dariush said; that's a dick move. You don't look to hurt your training partner, and I know sometimes it can get a little hairy in sparring, but still to boast about it the way that he did, its just poor taste.

We have fights confirmed after weight-ins and after watching press conference I have doubts if Tony Ferguson will be able to do something against Dariush.
He was talking that he hurt his student in training and acted like crazy while Dariush was very calm.
I had to switch my pick to Dariush and for main event I bet on Charles Oliveira but fight is more like 50/50 and it can go either way.

Interesting thing is that Islam Makachev with 19-1 MMA record complained that all top 10 fighters in his division refused to fight with him.
We all know he is training with Khabib and that is the real reason but he promised to be champion without them.

I watched the press conference, and old man Ferguson really turned up didn't he? Came with all the jokes, and I honestly thought Dana was going to burst a lung from laughing at one point. So, I do want Chandler to win I think, but my brain is telling me that Oliveria will take the win. My heart says Ferguson, but my brain says Dariush. So, here are my predictions for these fights, no changing it from now on.

Oliveria (decision)
Ferguson (decision)

Reason being; my love for Ferguson as a fighter is too much to bet against him, while I believe chandler is a good fighter, I'm not convinced he has the experience for a title shot this early, and by that I mean UFC experience.

Don't really think Ferguson will win this match . (although i am  a fans of him )
 Embarrassed

Chandler vs Oliveria , i have Oliveria on this . Chandler is getting too much hype , and from previously ( Israel vs Jan , Usman vs Masvidal ) , gonna stick with oliveria on this.

Just watched the Oliveira Vs Fergusson again. Alright, it was a pretty dominant performance by Oliveria. I'm still fancying Fergusson though. I'm not sure, making me doubt it again now. I'm quite confident that whatever the result it will go to a decision, unless Oliveria can get a submission. I'd like to think Tony has recovered from the Justin fight now though. Don't forget hes only lost 5/6 in his career, and hes always been fighting top tier competition, so its not like they are padded wins.

Man, I can't wait to see Fergusson fight again though. Its a shame that it'll likely be his last or last couple of fights.

Yup! from that fight I also think that Ferguson really did well it is just that Oliveria is too good on takedowns that he's able to lift Ferguson to do it, and that Gaethje and Ferguson fight should not happen because that is a Ferguson VS Nurmagomenodov fight and I think Ferguson is really ready for a Khabib Nurmagomenodov and not a Gaethje fight but at the last moment that fight happened, But I am not saying that Ferguson can beat Khabib Nurmagomenodov but he is just ready for that fight, but right now I think that Ferguson has moved on he is just unlucky to be paired to stronger opponents.

But right now I really want Ferguson to win this fight but Dariush is something that I can not predict for Ferguson to have a big percentage of winning, but I wish I could be wrong about it.

Just placed my bet on Tony at 2.41.
I'm sorry, but I think you are going to lose that bet.
I've been wrong many times when picking bets and I'm pretty sure you did too with all your analysis or bets (if you actually do bet). Like I said, it's more like an out of respect to the man gamble. I don't think he's broken down mentally. It's just that his injuries in his past battles are catching up to him fast.

it will always remind me what happen to chandler against will brook where he seem to dont know where he was and simply waves his hands like he is saying NO.  hes a good wrestler so its the take down that olivera has to watchout.

true. ferguson isnt as good as he was years ago. time has come but wish him a win or two before retiring.

I think that Charles Oliveira is also good at takedowns aswell, he can be a grappler, and even though you are the one that takes him down he will get a good position for a submission that is how good he is on the ground so Michael Chandler better think twice in getting a takedown on Oliveira but Chandler has power with striking but if the fight would go to the ground Oliveira will be dominating Chandler,

I would also like Ferguson to have 1 to 2 more wins before he could retire but apparently, I can not see that Ferguson could really win this I have a 90% doubt.

Yeah, but Ferguson didn't get his ass completely handed to him. Okay, Justin did smash him up to pieces,  but Ferguson also sat Justin down. Its not like he wasn't in the fight at all. Justin is a massive puncher too, and it was called off due to him wobbling a bit if my memory serves me correctly, he didn't knock him out per say.
Justin Gaethje dominated Tony Ferguson in the fight as he was eating a lot of punches, there is no debate about his toughness and in all of his fights Tony Ferguson gets punched but he always finds a way to win the fight and your memory is right after getting punched in the face multiple times Tony Ferguson refused to go down and the referee had enough and waved off the fight.

I can't remember the Oliveira fight as well, but I think I remember it going to a decision? So, the guys tough, and still has it in him for sure. Plus, don't forget before these two recent losses, he was on a win streak himself. A rather large one actually, more than 10?
In the Charles Oliveira fight it was completely different as it was not that competitive as expected because Charles Oliveira controlled the fight from the start and had him on a nasty arm bar in the first round and Tony refused to tap and if not for the bell he could have easily dislocated his arm and even in the stand up Charles Oliveira was dominant and hence his chin and toughness cannot be questioned.
I am also rooting for Tony Ferguson to win the fight.

^  I’m back and forth with Ferguson.  Watching his last bout vs Oliveira, it looks like that Gaethje fight took a lot out of him.  We’re seeing a diminished Ferguson.  It’s almost sad to see.

Anyway...  Yeah.  Some vids!  There’s a pre fight press conference live in a couple of hours.  Should be good.  Enjoy.
