The fact that proves that Adesanya has won Vettori by unanimous decision is that he keeps trolling him over the fight Cheesy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96zbWSvxXjU How do you like that? Adesanya was very confident in this fight. Same shows judge cards.

Speaking about judge cards - they sure have a lot of work that night. 11 out of 14 fight ended by decision.

P.S. We are getting close to McGregor - Poirier trilogy, less than a month is left.

Lol wut? The judge Chris Lee noted Figueiredo and Moreno as equal for the first two rounds? And even Figueiredo as victorious at the 2nd round? That is to say if Brandon Moreno didn't submitted Deiveson with his rear naked choke he wasn't sure to win the fight by unanimous decision... Very strange I think. I found him very domineering though.

somehow moreno dominates the fight he had been attempting many times to takedown and getting on the back of Figueredo to choke, failed several times. i think  figuerido gave up his neck in the last few minutes. the unanimous decision i think will still be Moreno for the win. this is one of the matches that i enjoyed.
vettori didn't change any of his fight plan and adesanya is impressive in preventing takedowns.

This was probably one of the best UFC events I saw in last few months, with so many great fights and even Nate Diaz was so close of winning the fight in last round after he was losing previous four rounds.
Fully deserved win for Adesanya  the king of Middleweight division, and Moreno surprised me with his great performance and I think that Figueiredo main problem is him cutting weight like we saw in previous fights.
Movsar Evloev is clearly going is good direction with his 15-0 perfect score and I can see him as challenger soon in Featherweight division.

Yeah, I think it is. One of the last from the old guard. It's sad, but it's also nice if he really retires because there is nothing sadder than watching fighters push through their fighting years. It's not a good look for the or the sport. Their financial future? Well, that's a completely different story.
Some of these fighters are in a tough spot as they are old enough to retire but they did not make the financial stability like some of the super stars in MMA are making and this is their only way to earn money and you cannot blame them for making a livelihood and so is the reason some fighters are fighting even after their prime years but if you are not performing well then the UFC will cut you irrespective of your past glory

^  That’s prolly the last fight in his contract.  He’ll be following JDS and Jacare and be given the sack by the UFC now.  Such a cruel sport this is.

Anyway..  Happy for Moreno.  He seems like a nice guy.  And what about that Paul Craig win eh?  He prolly got a performance of the night bonus.  Can’t wait for his next match to see if he’s really that good.

Did Nate Diaz lose the fight on purpose? On the 5th round he had the chance to knockout Edwards, however, he only stopped and pointed at the face of Edwards. I reckon that he speculates that Conor will lose against Poirier hehehe.

Also, I noticed the promotional material for stake.com was using the dogecoin logo. Was this on purpose because of the negative publicity on bitcoin?

Nate is a strange guy. He fights like he is not giving a f*ck on the result. He could have won, he does not care about his record. As expected, bloody face in the end.

About dogecoin logo - probably trying to take piece of Elon Musk hype pie Smiley

Nate Diaz should come down to 155 pound division as he will fit perfectly but Leon Edwards was dominating the fight with his take downs and in the fifth round Leon Edwards was rocked hard but Nate Diaz did not follow that and try to finish the fight and the time was running out as well and Nate Diaz was acting funny throughout the fight by turning his back against Edwards and walking and it was hilarious.

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz should fight at 155 pounds and i would like to see that trilogy now and i expect Dustin Poirier to win the rematch Grin.

Here are the results for UFC 263

Not bad for my picks today, had a few bad events and the surprise was Brandon Moreno winning the title and Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori was a boring fight but i was impressed with the take down defense of Israel Adesanya.

Demian Maia going in for the leg lock is such a fitting swan song. He is one of the last specialists in the sport as the new generation of fighters is going for the more of a eaqually rounded approach. Hope he's done with fighting, he had a good run.

Is it just me or the hype around Adesanya is not the same after his last fight ? For me personally, he will remain one of my favorites fighters and I'm expecting a win tonight with a K.O. in 1st or 2nd round. If somehow, Adesanya loses this game, then his career will take the other turn around and he might have some difficulties to comeback at the same form that made him what he is today but I doubt he will lose as even Dana hyped him a lot along his UFC career.

Israel Adesanya VS Marvin Vettori

Unfortunately, Adesanya wins via Decision he keeps on taunting Vettori until the fight finish but again this really concludes that Adesanya really wins this fight, Izzy can escape from the takedowns easily you can easily see who is really controlling the fight, that is what I like about Israel Adesanya and I also don't like the way he's taunting Vettori, He should focus on the fight more, but again I think this is all for the entertainment factor but still congrats to Vettori and the champion Israel Adesanya.

Deiveson Figueiredo VS Brandon Monero

This fight did shock me it is like watching something different Moreno really upped his skills and technique adding to his Durability from Figueiredo's punches, he is really slick with that submission hold that Figueiredo had to tap, because of this fight Moreno has got my attention and being humble while he does it.

Leon Edwards VS Nate Diaz

Nate Diaz seems like enjoying this fight and his Durability was tenfold even being bloodied never stop him from fighting, you can see his determination or foolishness to keep on taking off his guard, I don't know even though Nate Diaz lost to this fight his fans keep on cheering for him, and I don't know if that tough durability was because of the crack he smokes during the conference, But Leon Edwards has done his best and has won this by Decision, I think Nate has showcased his amazing Durability in this fight aswell.

I think Israel Adesanya should stop with the McGregor mind games and just be a professional fighter. Yes, he won the fight and he deserved it, but trolling him is not necessary.

In any way, I won some money on this match.. so I am in a forgiving mood today.  Grin   (My mind was saying... this was a setup for a 1 win each and a possible re-match situation... but I think Adesanya had something to prove.. after his previous loss)  Wink

UFC 263 is probably the event I followed with the most decisions (11 out of 14). I don't even know what to say about the main fights but congrats to Moreno. He was really emotional after it finally sinked in that he's the new champ. He was like dazed in the first minute after he choked out Figueiredo.

The anticipated rematch is here between Adesanya and Marvin Vettori, the major difference is that the champion is coming into the fight after his first MMA loss and looking at the press conference he looks confident and Marvin Vettori was aggressive and if he is not able to control his emotions in the fight he will be eating a lot of counter punches from Adesanya. I am expecting the fight to go above 3 rounds and Adesanya retaining the title.

Here are my picks Belal Muhammed, Brad Riddell, Pannie Kianzad

Like every other fighter who has an undefeated record Israel Adesanya he was having the hype when he was undefeated and it is natural that he will not be having the same hype coming after a loss because his weakness was exposed even though that happened in a higher weight division fighters in his division will study his flaws and the positions he struggled.

I would like to see Marvin Vettori getting the victory as it would be huge for the country as a MMA hot spot .

^  Here’s what I think could happen...  Adesanya will tee off on Vettori for R1 and R2 then Verttori starts bringing it at R3.  R4 and R5 will be close with Vettori edging it with the TD’s.

We can really speculate on whoever may have possibly could win here, but my take in the Israel Adesanya VS Marvin Vettori fight I could say Vettori could take down Adesanya anytime he like but I really think that Israel Adesanya really knows what is his problem with the submission moves on guys who will make his fight to the ground or grapple him, my take that he surely have gone to the gym and fix those problems, While Vettori surely has become greater than before that's for sure but not like Adesanya because Izzy did fix those problems that is why Adesanya will win this.
