I'm sure that I will see sad Ferguson eyes during this event. I think it is hard to fight, knowing that same evening guys fight to advance for a title fight. Im sure that Tony will be ready to fight Oliveira - Chandler winner same evening, just to be back in title race Cheesy

Btw, who is Chandler in UFC? 1 UFC fight and already top5 and in a race for a title? I think he does not deserve that. I'm gonna cheer for Oliveira. He has 8 wins in a row, he deserves to be the champ. Face Khabib after and lose, making him farewell fight with 30-0 Cheesy

LOL you really think many people will watch a twenty minutes video interview of a poor average featherweight fighter(less than 145lb/66kg) from Georgia to check if he really tells bullshit? If he likes to spread nonsense fakenews that's up to him, but I can guarantee you won't see him at the next UFC, if you want we can bet on that.

Sorry I was thinking that you are blind, but now I just think that you are really stupid old scam promoter and I am not betting anything with scammers.
Saying that number ten featherweight fighter with record 13-2 and 8 wins in a row is average and poor is just telling how poor shitposter you are.

Everyone has the belief that Tony Ferguson could give Khabib the toughest test because of his unorthodox style and his ground game but when he was dominated by Charles Oliveira it was clear that Khabib would kill him literally. Grin

Ferguson got slammed and then mounted that easy all the way until the end of every round. if oliveira did it easily to him, it will also be easy for Khabib to take him down and all the rounds will be on the ground too. i hate it.

And that's what makes me believe Dariush will take the W on this one against Ferguson. Dariush is a high-level BJJ competitor so Fergusons 10th Planet antics will more likely not work on him, paired that with aggressiveness in striking of Dariush, this really does not give Ferguson any more than 20% of a chance to win. Now, comparing Ferg to Khabib at this point is not really telling us much as they differ in styles more than other Ferguson opponents, so that could have always come into play.

I though Ferguson would bring a good fight to Nurmagomedov but after that Gathje fight things have changed and Ferguson was then out of the picture in facing Khabib, now if he doesn't beat Dariush he should just quit of getting a championship bout.

I think it is clearly shown when Khabib Nurmagomenodov dominated Justin Gaethje and in that match if Gaethje have dominated Ferguson on their match then it is clear as the sun that Ferguson might died when he would fought Nurmagomenodov, I hate to say this but I really think that Tony Ferguson is not improving and no new techniques at his disposal he is just fighting with his own fighting style and stock from there that is why Gaethje have seen to his movements.

Where have you seen that about Giga Chikadze? He has already fought few days ago at UFC on ESPN: Reyes vs. Procházka. How he could fight again at the end of the week?  Huh No athletic commission would allow him to fight even if Dana White and the UFC organization would let him doing it. He's free to say bullshit but it will hurt his reputation of professional fighter.

Are you blind and can't you see that I posted the link with video interview of him speaking?  Cheesy
He finished his last fight ten days ago against Cub Swanson in one minute of first round with KO and he was virtually untouched in that fight, so athletic commission can kiss his ass.

Giga is hoping though, he said his brother is fighting i guess he could try being the replacement. yeah he is hopeful someone will have covid to replace with.  Grin
first time watching that channel. a commission wouldn't really try to put you back up again after a week but maybe for 2 weeks?

Bookmakers made Dariush a big favorite against Tony Ferguson and I expect to see bloody interesting 3 rounds, but my main bet is going to be Charles Oliveira to win.
Beneil Dariush is a really tough opponent and he is a favorite because Tony Ferguson has slowed down considerably and he is on a loosing streak and the invincibility he had is gone as opponents started to figure him out well. When it comes to Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler it is going to be a great fight because Charles Oliveira is an all rounded fighter with serious ground and submission skills while Michael Chandler has the power to knockout anyone and the wrestling background to take down anyone.

I heard that Giga Chikadze is ready to jump in next UFC 262 in featherweight or lightweight category if some fighter drops out and he will support his teammate Beneil Dariush.
Bookmakers made Dariush a big favorite against Tony Ferguson and I expect to see bloody interesting 3 rounds, but my main bet is going to be Charles Oliveira to win.
Man is ready and eager to fight, he also asked UFC to allow him to fight in just finished card UFC Vegas 26 because he is still staying in United States.

WOW! another event is on the horizon, and I really don't have any idea about the main event yet, but this match up with Tony Ferguson is what I am thinking to have a discussion about, well after his defeat with Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira I really think that Ferguson had to get over with that lost, and getting into action again, and Beneil Dariush seems to be a good match up for him and also can take the fight to the floor, Well I would further look at Beneil Dariush if what may he have in store for Tony Ferguson.
Beneil Dariush is on a 6 fight winning streak and if you look at his career he is having difficulty with good strikers and it looks like he has improved a lot in the stand up game as he has two knockouts and two submission victories in his last 5 fights and it is a must win situation for Tony Ferguson as a loss in this fight means he will never compete for the title ever again in the UFC.

Thanks for the info, upon researching on Beneil Dariush he seems very good at a stand-up fight now than before, he has indeed had a good record now than back then, And yes again if Tony Ferguson would lose again here he is not worthy to have a championship fight, Well back then the fight with Tony Ferguson against Khabib Nurmagomedov is always rescheduled or postponed that I though Ferguson would bring a good fight to Nurmagomedov but after that Gathje fight things have changed and Ferguson was then out of the picture in facing Khabib, now if he doesn't beat Dariush he should just quit of getting a championship bout.

New event..  Looking at the main card right now, all my leans are all for the underdogs.  Lol.  I think Ferguson redeems himself here after a bad showing vs Charles Oliveira.  But not sure how Barboza makes the weight cut at 145 again and again.

I really don't understand why UFC is still keeping Donald Cerrone under contract after so many defeats, this is his fifth in a row from total of 16 loses.
Other fighters get released much easier but Cerrone refuses to retire and I think it's time for him to rest on his ranch and take car of his family.
The only logical reason why Donald Cerrone is getting consideration from the UFC is because he is a crow puller and can fill the seats whenever he is fighting and he helped the UFC fill in for fights in short notice when he was in his prime and Dana White likes people like that who saved fight cards for the company and may be he is repaying that favor by not removing him.

That and the fact that he is in a minority of fighters left from that generation, that had that presence and was always a good poster boy for the organization so he has some leverage compared to other fighters. In the modern era of blandness, the UFC needs more cowboys. But that does not mean they will tolerate him much longer...

I feel sorry for Karate Hottie Michelle Waterson that fight was very heated and she surely gives her all but the fact that Marina Rodriguez have an advantage with speed, reach, and a very effective striker while Waterson is struggling to land anything and even though Waterson has an accurate kick this is not enough, and even though Waterson really never gives up and tries to take the fight to the floor but time is there to stop it,

Well even though she never wins this fight she seems happy doing it and never giving up in spite that she is at a disadvantage she keeps moving on.

This fight card is finally over and we can move on to real thing with UFC 262 and fighters like Oliveira and Ferguson.
Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler battling for the title and the fight against Beneil Dariush will determine the future of Tony Ferguson, a loss here would be the end of his career.

I thought Donald Cerrone will try to win this one as he is on a loosing streak and he might be released by the UFC as the interest level will go down if he keeps on loosing and the age is not in his side and he needs to find an opponent to retire for good.

Had a bad card in terms of my stupid prediction have to be better next time.

Here are the results

i would like to see Donald Cerrone winning this bout and i expect Marina Rodriguez and Michelle Waterson going the decision.
Donald Cerrone lost his fight once again and this is his fifth straight loss and it is time he needs to retire from MMA as he had many fights and there is no point in coming back and get a huge beating at 38 years old but in the post fight interview he said he is not going to retire with a loss like this, either Dana White has to step in a say him to stop fighting if not he will keep on going and keep on rising his loss column.
