Fight Night Covington vs. Woodley is a must watch event, and whole card is great with Donald Cerrone vs. Niko Price, and even preliminary card is awesome.
On top of that Dana White announced news of signing Michael Chandler and he is a backup for Khabib vs Gaethje fight

Did anyone see the weekend's Bellator card? I only watched the highlights but there was one of the worse crotch shots I'd ever seen in the headliner fight between Raymond Daniels and Peter Stanonik. Daniel's did a spinning back kick right to the dick then he went and did another one straight after which was even worse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zb72ZwYhKTE
My goodness, that was painful to watch. The fight should have ended after the first spinning kick. Really stupid for the other guy to do the same thing just seconds after the fight resumed. He must have been sparring with shorter fighters when he was practicing that.

To be honest the fighter could have called it of but he wanted to carry on. I've seen quite a few low blows with the spinning back kicks... you can't really blame the other fighter that much though as you can't really aim them that well with with your back turned so sometimes this happens.

Good card for UFC 253..

It's pretty good. Not sure what Cowboy is doing as the penultimate fight though. He didn't even make the main card last time and got KFO by McGregor within a minute. Speaking of McGregor did anyone see his latest shenanigans of getting arrested for alleged indecent exposure: https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/ufc/conor-mcgregor-arrested-pictures-show-22676879

He really needs to return to fighting or his legacy will be ruined at this point. He could have been one of the greats but he left too early for that in my opinion. He should just sign a whopping contract for three fights or something. Diaz trilogy, maybe Gamebred and then the Khabib rematch. Every single one of them would be the biggest PPVs in UFC history.

Good card for UFC Fight Night.

Covington wouldn't dare exchange blows against Woodley. He'll take him to the ground for sure. He'll try to throw punches here and there to mix it up but the end game is to finish the fight in the ground via submission or TKO. If the fight goes to the 5th round, Woodley would end up frustrated lying on the ground most of the fight.

I prefer Cowboy to retire. He probably has little power left in his kicks but he doesn't have a good chin anymore. Niko might not be that skilled in striking compared to Cowboy but the guy has some serious KO power. He finishes opponents in some weird ways too, just look at how he KO'd someone with a hammer fist while on his back  Grin

For Khamzat Chimaev, well, what else can we say about this guy? I don't know if it's even worth it to check his opponent.

I made a couple of parlays for the weekend's event:  Nam, Chimaev and Ewell, Holland.  Close to even odds for the Nam one and slightly plus money for the Ewell one.  I don't think I'll be making a lot of UFC bets per event for a little while.  Lol.  Confidence is shot atm.  Lawl.

I watched the fight and i did not place a bet on the match, but it was brutal and hence it was a no contest, but in UFC fight against Mike Rodriguez which i picked to win the fight would have won against Ed Herman and the referee's blunder calling a low blow when it clearly missed his groin area resulted in Mike Rodriguez loosing the fight in the later round, if not for that referee blunder the fight would have stopped by that time.

However, sometimes women give tougher fights more than men similar to this recent headliner. It might be because women are built for giving birth and have higher limits for pain received hehehe.
May be, there are certain fighters who have a much higher pain threshold, Leslie Smith, Jessica Penne and many more who will fight on despite injuries sustained in the fight and there are countless male fighters throughout history.

I’m more excited with event after this. Adesanya vs Costa. Finally these two will meet. There are a lot of hate between these two. Both talk shit about each other. Their first meeting was postponed due to Costa’s steroids positive test. Then Adesanya keep fighting other guys and avoid Costa for a year. September 26 finally they will fight. If Adesanya keeps running in the ring like he did agains Romero, he would definitely lose his title.

^  Cool, thanks.

You should watch Holland vs Stewart fight too.  Holland a great prospect.  Newson vs Costa is another potential banger.

^ ^  Yup...  I've said the same thing too.  Female fighters really do have a higher threshold for pain.  It's prolly why most of WMMA matches end via decision.  Wink

Anyway...  Next event looks more stacked than UFC 253.  I like Woodley as the underdog.

This has a similarity to animals (cats, dogs for example). Male species fight till someone shows weakness or other have a slight advantage. While when female species fight, they fight till first blood.

Take a look how lions fight. Male fight are short. One shows advantage over the other and the looser runs away. While when female fight, that is always a bloody mess  Cheesy

Full foot-span right in the dick and balls. Stanonik was on the floor literally crying and he had to be stretchered off. Looks like he's ok though: https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2020/09/peter-stanonik-released-from-hospital-diagnosed-with-groin-contusion-after-bellator-245

Wouldn't have surprised me if he was infertile after those blows though.

Why nobody post any info about tomorrows event?

By looking on the card and the photos, I haven't found any familiar name. Maybe this is the reason this topic is silent about this event.

Female headliners tend to get less attention unless they're one of the bigger names... or they'rs smoking hot  Grin.

^  Good pick on Azaitar.  He turned out to be an actual beast.  I thought he was overrated and Worthy would get him coming in.
And Martinez won that fight.  Herman faked a low blow.
Anyway, got owned by the bookies again.  Sad  Nothing big...  Just 10 bucks per bet but they do add up.
I messed with Mike Rodriguez as he never used to go the distance and Herman slept in his career in the past but the veteran had other plans and he is always a striker who absorbs less strike and he did that in this fight and he did not give him a knockout opportunity. The reason i picked Ottoman Azaitar is because of his striking ability and the accuracy in which he was able to pick apart opponents and his defense is pretty solid rather than wild swinging.

If it weren't for COVID there would have been good fighters to watch than whats on the list. This is the kind of match that you'd find it hard when all are sloopy enough to make a mistake. Nothing so far that can give you the confidence to bet. Waterson seems to be the crowds fav against Hill only because of the racist issue I guess.
Will Dana get even for this event?
The UFC was putting events after events during this tough situations and they already had 18 events and you cannot expect fan favorites to fight in every event. I did not understand the racist issue you are talking about, Michelle Waterson is fan friendly because of her social media presence and the way in which she was able to promote herself.

My picks for the event are Bobby Green, Billy Quarantillo, Mike Rodriguez and Ottoman Azaitar .
