Out of over 2000 cryptocurrencies you have to expect that a lot will go to zero because they have no purpose but many coins do and will be here in the future

And now it's been proven that there are so many tokens that don't have a price and even there are no developments from their dev who are running away because maybe the product failed

ICO experienced a boom at the end of 2017 - early 2018, which was followed by failure when prices dropped and state and federal regulators cracked down on projects that were in conflict with securities law.

The majority of digital tokens will not have long-term value.

Because of those regulators, many have been deemed to drop but let's not let our hopes go down. Maybe one day some of these ICO we have invested will grow.

I agree some of these ICO is just a duplicate of past or existing coin, I guess they are projects that failed to generate funding in their last attempt, so they are trying it again, and some scam ICO that still wants to scam more people because they are too greedy to stop.

Because the regulator found irregularities in raising funds. So this commission issued a severe sentence on the blockchain project project.
These actions are taken to provide a deterrent effect and protect investors from fraudulent projects.
The impact of this regulation from inappropriate projects related to Ico has an impact on the Ico project that has been running and has been funded.

But that's good, the tough rules for bad Ico will make room for the new Ico sector. Accredited investor support on the new Ico project to go up, and will reduce fraud cases that will hamper ico's growth.

The creation of this regulation is to make a stable recovery from the ICO project.

I have more than 100 tokens from many projects in my wallet, but only a few have value in the market. the rest only became dust in my wallet. So I agree with the author that token doesn't can be long term investment. Only a few from thousand that still survive so far.

Well tokens from back then were mostly from shitty projects anyway so they didn't have any real value from the start. Even me, most of the tokens i got fron airdrops and some boubties didn't even make it to exchanges lol.

Yes, its true that there will be many tokens go to zero or zero value and very drop, this is i usually happen when market are struggling and goes down. But it doesn't mean it is the end of it but it was just a part of lesson to be learned, and patience are measured from it.

When they say "most coins" I wonder whether they just mean shitcoins because up to now, there isn't anything stopping the trading. There ain't no news which token has turned zero. Coins that are listed on exchanges already may not really goes zero because even just with less than 100USD of volume, a trader can set a buy or sell order  for a higher price. Nothing so far has turned zero.

As there so many ICOs that goes with the competition it is really expected that some tokens will go to zero. So many have just gone without clear reasons why. If they ended losing or for any reasons. The ones who have made a name are even sometimes struggling and chances are the only thing that remains will be the already established tokens.

I totally agree with you . Many icos don't have any real values . They were just introduced to take advantage of the unsuspecting investing public . Such projects would in the long run becomes of no value . They will be abandoned and their tokens would go to zero. It is just a question of time

Many coin projects are not sustainable for the long term for one reason or another. Sometimes the devs are aware of this but most times they do not consider it till they have gone deep into the project before they realize their projects do not rely on their tokens before it can work. That's why demand for such tokens are poor and so their price is grounding down to zero

Unfortunately, there are a lot of such tokens in my investment portfolio. Many projects have died and tokens have depreciated. This is very sad because it led me to big losses.

And now it has been proven that so many tokens whose prices have decreased a lot, and in my opinion this is already a natural thing when their platforms or products fail to be accepted by the market

It's normal for the non-performing coins to go to zero and get delisted to all exchanges. Only the strongest coins remain.

tokens that have no value at all will certainly be zero and to avoid this depends on how the team in developing their project, tokens that have good value are certainly developers who are serious in developing their projects.

To bullrun will survive only the strong coins. In 2017, there was a very strong increase in the price of all cryptocurrencies due to the very wide popularization of bitcoin. Now there are a lot of such coins and thus the attention of people is very much distributed. Most coins do not have enough financial support for investors and developers because prices are falling down.

Agree with you, most of the coins will lose it value sooner than expected making it an investment time bomb. Most of these coins have no basis for their creation and it was created just to make some monies from ICO and  leave it just like that.

Only those projects will have long term value which has a working product and and a use case for it.
The rest will be struggling and their value can go to zero without active development.

Unfortunately, not all developers approach their work very carefully and we see how some coins lose value and then they are worth nothing.
Of course, this is all the reason for the tough market volatility, but personally I prefer to invest in coins that will not disappear and have a future.
It would have been nice if you mentioned the coins you were referring to that will not disappear in the future so that those who will like to follow your idea will invest in the coins too. Most of the coins that disappear are mostly the one that the developer themselves are the architect of their own problem.
