Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
Hello I was hoping someone could help clarify this issue I'm having. I have made 55 posts  and I'm having 28 activity prior to now I was having 28 posts 28 activity dunno why I'm stuck on 28 activity my account was registered on the 28th of January can someone help me out with a solution thanks

Your activity level should go up to 42 on Tuesday/Wednesday of next week, since you have more than 42 posts and you made at least one post during this 2 week activity period.  The same will be true in the future, as long as you are averaging 1 post per day, you will receive 14 additional activity points, as long as you post at least one time during the previous 2 week activity period.

I think that i will never pass too new position on forum, i will allways be a Newbie Smiley

Why would you say that? Even if you post garbage, you wil leasily reach Jr. Member... reaching Member is moer difficult though, not only you need quality posts, you have to find someone who will find your post so good, they will give you merit... So far i have managed to get only one really good topic rolling, even though i personally think i have given more quality posts. Anyhow, just keep adding to the community and you wil lrank up eventually Smiley

I was already wondering why I haven't been promoted yet, and this post seems to answer with the information about the 1h delay.

I'm so impatient Wink

Well man, i crossed 30 posts (including some really long as i am a translator) like 12h ago or so and still no promotion, so it can take waaaay longer than 1h Cheesy I am also stuck on 14 activity, same as you Smiley

Apparently , the activity changes every 1210000 units of the UNIX timestamp.

This equates to 14 days , 6 minutes , 40 seconds.

This means , after 3026 2 week periods , you would expect to gain 42364 activity.

But no , you would get only 42350 activity.

TLDR; Every 116 years you will lose out on 14 activity. Sad right ?

You made my laugh so hard!!!   Grin Grin Grin It's passed a lot of time since your post, hope my answer finds you well!! It was an extremely helpful post!!! That's just what i was looking for. Thank you a lot!!!

If I cant reach the 14 post in 2 weeks? what it will happen ?

Nothing. You actually only need to make one post in an activity period to be able to collect all the activity at a later date, so no need to spam or try force yourself to make the posts.

In which timezone do you live? I want to understand at which time it has switched in the place I live. I also want to uderstand how precise this spreadsheet's dates are.

I live in UTC+1 time zone. Forum appears to me to be UTC so there is just one hour of delay. OP says time of the spreadsheet is GMT (which is the same as UTC).

Anyway, I wasn’t upgraded at the exact time predicted because I was refreshing every 5-10 minutes and it happened between 9:10-9:25 (GMT or UTC), not 6:46.

By the way, thanks to the OP for the work. Pointing out there is a small delay is to improve the spreadsheet.

Is there any page in this forum which tells you in which 14 days period you are IN THE VERY MOMENT you load the page?

You can find here when the periods start

Here is a list of all the ACCURATE start dates of the 14 day periods till 2060 !
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA

I think this is very interesting. Maybe by bumping this post again to the top I can assist some others.
Anybody knows if that very helpful sheet on the first post is still valid?

I don't think it's 100% valid.

It’s happened to me other times that I’ve seen there is a delay between what the spreadsheet says and the actual upgrade. According to the sheet I should have been upgraded to Full Member today at 6:46 PM. I’m writing this at 8:46 PM and haven’t been upgraded yet. I’m talking about server time, not my local time.

I think there is a delay of few hours.

Edit: it's 9:23 PM and I've been upgraded within the last ten minutes.

This is a very helpful thread for me. Now I understand how my post vs my activity increases. For newbies like me, the increase in rank is slow but rewarding. While waiting for that rank increase you learn a lot along the way.

This is very informative, a lot of people are asking and confused about activity updates. All I know is that activities are updated evey 2nd Tuesday. However, it takes time before activities are updated. Just be patient, evrone will rank up in time.
