however the situation will always be there are articles or media that preach when the right moment to buy bitcoin. even though, not everything reported was true.
we have our own authority to determine when the right time to buy and sell.

Bitcoin until now has indeed become one of the promising investments. Especially if there is a halvening that is the bitcoin reward will be cut in half so as to make the supply of bitcoin to a minimum. And prices will rise. So indeed this is a good time to buy bitcoin.

It had been always the time to buy it. There should be no question in there and should say it is time to buy Bitcoin or you will regret it.  Grin

The last ATH was at December 2017 where it fluctuates until almost 20k. That is where they made the wrong decision to ride the wave of FOMO's.
Although it cannot be prevented, some took the risk thinking there is a 50k ahead in just a manner of time.
I think that is only the one thing that most people got it wrong.
But now, specially now to correct it could be the last time to buy at a cheaper price.

I have seen a lot of topic that say it is time to buy bitcoin and I know everytime we can buy bitcoin and whatever the price of it many people still buy it simply because day by day or in the next of couple years the price of bitcoin will increase. Lastly, keep on buying bitcoin because you will regret once the price goes up.

Sometime the resistance and support cannot be always right. But many analysis say that bitcoin is affected by recent Bakkt launching. Many traders outside the crypto world are now joining the league but its just unfortunate that it did not pump the price of bitcoin but instead dragged it down. Well, for me, I think this is just a set back and minor correction since we know how volatile the market is.

This is impossible to answer in any serious way without knowing your situation.
The default answer: if you have to ask, you most likely shouldn't buy. The detailed answer is; it depends on your financial situation your debt? income? financial plans/goals? will you need money you plan to put into bitcoin within the next 3-5 years? will you be financially/emotionally able to stomach a full loss of your investment?, as well as how well you understand the basics of bitcoin storage and why you want to get some in the first place. I mean, obviously this doesn't matter if you want to get something like $20 worth which is not a bad idea just to test the waters and to learn the basics, before you buy more, but you get the idea, I hope.

There will always be fear but that is why bitcoin is risky. So I would rather take that greater risk for a greater profit rather than staying with the safest method there is (e.g. banks) which wont even take me anywhere near a good profit in 10 years.

Let us face it. What are the choices now?
We can't eliminate that fear but we have to control it before it happens that fear will control us. If that happens, it certainly brings you down and can't even think right.
If you are a risk-taker, then crypto is the best place for you. It is all about how we manage our self to face such risk, everything is a challenge and all it goes into the hard ways before we achieve our goals.

You shouldn't rush
don't worry ; we should wait till this market will stabilize

Buying at such times is like swimming in a river or ravine uneasy

I think you know when is a good time to buy bitcoin.
You can buy bitcoin at any price you want, and you should not depend on that article to bought.
But before you buy bitcoin, I suggest you analyze the trend so you will know on what position bitcoin price now and the next hour so you can see if your prediction will happen or not.
By the way, if you want to buy more bitcoin, you can buy at many prices and don't depend on one rate only so you can reduce the buy price.
Many people are making a wrong buy, so you don't have to follow them.
That is why you always need to analyze so you can prevent to get bitcoin at a higher price.
Maybe you need a long time to find the right price in buying bitcoin, but that will be worth it for you because you can get bitcoin at a low price.

so supposedly the 200 Day average may hold up price?

We are right on the verge of closing below the 200 DMA on daily bars so in that sense its not held as support.  I normally take these MA as indicators and quite often its a signal short term for sentiment not absolute support.
Time to buy bitcoin can vary on your risk appetite and the time frame you intend to hold over.  Short term speculators could refer to a trend in this area for support rather then the MA alone.   Price shouldnt just move in one direction so it will stop a fall and rise back at some point and theres some argument it does that now.   I'm also watching if it closes above 200 DMA for the week, sunday price or even friday close above 200 DMA would be pretty bullish reversal and worth taking note of.

the 200dma is usually a solid buy during a larger bull market so i was expecting a strong rebound off it. unfortunately, we only got a small bounce, followed by more carnage. back to the drawing board!

david is looking at the 4-day 90ema for a possible bottom, which i think we just hit with today's dump. after that, we've got the june monthly pivot in the $7400s and the 62% fib retrace of the whole uptrend in the $7200s. even if we are entering a new prolonged bear market---which i doubt---i expect a strong bullish reaction from one of those levels.

Forget those lines, forget those indicators, forget those analyzations.. that question is always asked even back when bitcoin price hits the floor @ $3,000 level.

Don't allow that question is still a question once the price starts to make an uptrend again.

Up to you to decide.

to make the most profit from it, you have to wait for price to get reduced a quater or half of current price so you dont lose.8500 dollar price now isnt really safe

What if the price did not get crash on that level and price recovers and keep shooting up, then the opportunity to buy at lower price is gone but what if we bought and the price keep crashing?  This never ending what if always bother those who wanted to get the best possible opportunity to profit themselves, but I'll go with ..

News flash: No one knows when exactly the best time to buy is. If you think bitcoin has a future and in that future bitcoin has a higher price that it's price right now, then just dollar-cost average! May it be weekly, bi-weekly(I prefer this), or monthly. That way, you don't need to rely on technical analyses from people you don't even know if they actually know what they're talking about.

If we believe that Bitcoin will go up someday then buying it whenever we can is the best time to buy Bitcoin.  Let us not stress our selves about buying on dip or peak as long as it is far from our target selling price and the money we are using to buy it is our excess.

No one can tell you when it is the best time to buy bitcoin that is a personal choice that will depend on who you are as a person and as an investor, if you are willing to hold your coins for years them buying bitcoin at the current price is a good idea, but if you are not willing to hold your coins if we begin to see a negative trend in the price of bitcoin then it could be a good idea to wait a little bit and see if this is just a minor correction or if this becomes a crash.

Such big corrections which are initiated by whales are often a great chance to buy BTC cheap
Although it may be the whales trying to manipulate the market, it may also be a major correction happened because of the price being idle at $10k.
We have seen in the history of bitcoin that whenever bitcoin stays at a particular price for a long time, a major correction has occured followed by a bull run.

Seems like bitcoin will go down hard before it goes up to 20k. Maybe some people are waiting for the $7000  price before they buy and hold till the last month of the year.

Fear and Greed sentiment indicator is showing a lot of fear....

Even in stock markets, Technical Analysis does not exactly portray accurate gains and losses. Then what more if it's a cryptocurrency in a gigantic network that is so-called blockchain. We have no freaking idea, the Analysis we see now are based on last markups and downs of a certain cryptocurrency. Although it actually "help" in hindsight if you will, the actual thing may happen very differently.
