XRP might be cheap to buy now but what matters is, is it going to rise in value for you to make profit. The issue of XRP overcoming ethereum to assume the #2 on CMC happened just some few minutes. XRP has not got what it takes to attain the #2 spot for long. With the issue of buying xrp now, if you are good at taking riak, I think you can buy more xrp now that the price is low and hold for sometime for the price to increase then you can make your profits. But it won't be sooner because xrp is also struggling in the bearish market to attain its peak.
Ripple is a wonderful and promising cryptocurrency which I think every investor should have in his portfolio 
I can recommend you to buy only btc and ether, they are better than any other coin. To my mind, it is better to buy the most popular coins as they are going to remain the leaders in the market
I think you are too late to think of buying an XRP coin at this time, the price has started to rise sharply, actually the right time is when the price reaches its lowest point like two months ago, if it is now prone to go back down, but if you want to buy there is no problem but be careful with coins that are in a rising trend
It seems rather possible that now is a good time to buy in more XRP. The charts are indicating what seems to me to be a slow but sure price rise.

Ripple is going to be a success in market also its limited supply will hold the value for it which attracts so many people. It is a right time to invest in cryptocurrency. With the increase in popularity and demand of cryptocurrency other than ethereum Ripple is a great alternative cryptocurrency.
I don't really like Ripple's cryptocurrency, but I think it makes sense to have it in a cryptocurrency portfolio for the long term. This is one of the few assets that has demand in the real banking sector. It is unlikely we will see here X10 with such capitalization, in the next 5 years, but X5 - is quite real.

Maybe I am not right but I would not make my stakes on Ripple, Why do not you want to work with the other cryptocurrencies that are the decentralized ones? For instance, TRON and Cardano are tough.

Some people might argue Ripple is centralized and Pump & Dump coin but a trader basically looks for profit not other so much about other factors.
When people say that they are in crypto only because of technology... 
that's so ridiculous, I wouldn't take Ripple as a №1 project on the market, because there are some many more ambitious and techologically advanced ones, eg Stellar Lumens. But due to its volatility XRP is a great altcoin for trading. 
Those who are still waiting about investing into XRP token, I recommend you to invest now, today and yesterday drops caused that XRP is on its local minimum. Buy now, when XRP is so cheap!
