So XRP(Ripple) has bypassed Ethereum to become no. 2 coin on coinmarketcap and it has seen about 70% growth in last 24 hours and about 300% gain in past week or so. Is it still the right time to get into it and buy some XRP. Some people might argue Ripple is centralized and Pump & Dump coin but a trader basically looks for profit not other so much about other factors.
The ripple coin recently went around ethereum in terms of capitalization for only a few hours, with a capitalization level of over 23 billion dollars. A few days later, the level of capitalization of this coin fell to 18 billion. Now, the capitalization of ripple is just over 22 billion. As we see, the level of ripple's capitalization is not quite stable, I would not prefer this coin. You can invest in it, this coin will have a good demand in the banking sector, but the price of this coin is manageable.
Ripple is a good investment but in present market condition there are many good coins which are available at very cheap price. Ethereum and Neo are best coins to invest at this time because they have to high potential to rise. These coins price are very low at this time due to heavy correction in this market so in my views if you buy ETH and NEO instead of ripple then you will get better returns.

Ripple is good for a short term investment plan and i did invest in Ripple last year to get profit of almost 10 times more than the investment capital but soon there was a huge change in the circumstances for Ripple as it started to lose it's value because Ripple can easily be manipulated since it's dubbed as centralized crypto for banks and the owners control the supply as the supply is not fixed.
For me, XRP is good only because transactions from exchange to exchange are fast and cheap, but i never buy XRP for long term.

Perfectly said this is not even worth to hodl for 1 month in your wallet m fluctuation ratio in negative is more that bitcoin and ethereum may be their volume will increase since the marketplace is supporting decentralised cryptos.
I don't have single coin or I don't buy the XRP forever even it crossed the ethereum.

What happened recently is a good sign to indeed buy xrp since it is showing posibilities which resulted ripple to surpass ethereum in terms of their ranking in the market. But this also means that this might be the start of the recovery from continuous market downfall this year. We should now focus on holding and waiting for the next thing to happen.
people. please remember xrp used to be at 2$ last year. so this price is normal and I dont think it will go up anymore. keep your head cold
I'm not a fan of centralized coin after xrp gained a lot these past few days, I think it's not a good idea to buy it for the price might drop in the next few days.
I think xrp is good coins more than eth. End of last year xrp was reached 3.5$ value. Now its was in 0.55$ anyway xrp again raised 5$ end of this year or 2020.

You're right that time to buy Ripple has already passed, but as we now Ripple is a very good coin to pump. Maybe this is just coincidence but before pump we usually can see good news, partnerships and other things and after that in 2-3 days price will go up after these news. I don't believe that Ripple can beat ETH too but that just happened. Reality comes..

if you think that xrp will continue to pump at the higher price better to buy now because xrp is one of the most successful and great altcoin in the world for sure it will pump, but my advice to you is always buy at the dip price so you can earn huge profit. 
Ripple is easily manipulated by the few holders with massive supply. The centralized cryptocurrency is still not acceptable as progressive cryptocurrency that should change the way things were done.
I don't recommend buying or investing to ripple now. As you mentioned, it already gained about 300% gain in the past week so meaning to say, it will be an opportunity for those Ripple holders to sell it for a profit. That altcoin will be dumped again and it is not impossible that it will go back below $0.30 specially if the red market comes. It actually depends on you and if you are planning to ride the boat today, you better not hold Ripple for long term because it will give you regrets and sufferings for sure.
Ripple became very strong coin. Now it is bought worldwide. The future of bank payments depends on this coin. It is possible to buy.
