No need to make local transactions when there is a DAO P2P Coin Exchange platform coming soon where you can withdraw by wiring cash to your bank account, using a virtual Visa Debit Card or buying GOLD for delivery anywhere in the world.

This is so informative. Thank you for making this thread. This serves as guidelines in transacting with other people especially for trading purposes. I appreciated much about meeting in publoc areas or with cctv cameras. It's really opt to be in the said places for security purposes and in cases of fraudulent transactions. However if I may add I think we can also be vigilant in giving our payments. For me, I prefer the COD method because its more secure to get the items before giving the payment.

i would like to suggest a good method to do local transactions with out meet a person.this will save your valuble time and effort .what u need is a person who can trust by both parties
A=seller
B=buyer
C=intermediate
we see how this deal occurs.
B want to buy 1btc from A.C is the intermediate who is well known by both parties and he should be a trustable person.
first B send money to C for buy btc
once he recived money he should have to inform to B that he has recived such amount of money from B to buy btc.
then A can send btc directly to B (rate sould be negotiate before deal)once B recived btc he should have to inform to C and now C has to send money to A.
advantages-less time consuming
disadvantages-buyer has to pay extra amount to cover extra transaction fees.
accirding to my experiance extra transaction fee is not an big issue comparing with efficacy

There is localbitcoin for such transactions, also there are some chats in Telegram, where people come to an agreement and than meet.
So here in Russia we basicly hold meeting in bank or in a huge office center.

One of the easiest ways to pay in BitCoin in person is with a mobile wallet app from a smartphone.

imagine the time when you'll pay via cryptocurrencies using smart contactless devices Smiley sounds already nice?

It's not just thugs in a dark alley that local traders need to worry about, they also now have to worry about thugs with badges who will throw traders in a cage against their will -- all for simply doing a person-to-person trade!
