For sure gamblers already knew these things. However, it appears that most of them do not really practice it. This is where they eventually get lost in the process.

I guess it really varies from person to person. Some know where and when to draw boundaries for their sake. But not everyone has the capability of doing it. Some fail to recognize where to stop and where to continue that causes them to lose big in gambling and eventually get addicted in it. It's saddening that there are many people getting lost in gambling, but only themselves can rescue them in that damnation. Because initially, they knew what they are entering. For a gambler to only bet daily is gambling he can't survive himself in the long run. But daily emargncy needed ie electric bill, telephone bill, newspaper bil , rent of car, restaurant bills etc money very important. He shouldn't bet those emergency money. Although I would not want to be a professional gambler because I want to see the game as a recreational activity for life, but every gambler should have a plan or a budget. You should have a particular time that would be spent in gambling house or online sites. I have seen some gamers in my country spending so much time in casino and abandoning some important tasks in their workplaces. One should know when and how long he should spend gambling. Also, a certain amount of money should be set aside for gambling and gaming should end when it is exusted. This would prevent one from using funds budgeted for other purposes for gambling.

Being human then we are normally that impulsive and emotional thats why it would really vary on someones experience because there are people who are really good on handling their emotion basing up on that.

They didn't chase their losses but if they chase wins, then I think there's still no difference as we know that it's hard to win in gambling. The conclusion from these points is that control yourself, if you can control yourself then even though regular gambling will not have a bad impact because everything is done with good awareness and self-control, it's unfotunate that many gamblers understand this but it's hard to do anything so tempting like promotions, winning streaks and even losing streaks can also make gamblers lose control.
