Unfortunately, most gamblers are sore losers or degenerate who will pursue their losses thinking that they'll be able to recover it. Also, Gambling is not made for purely entertainment purposes but to also earn money by betting on games however we gamblers must not focus on the monetary side and only set a budget and enjoy your gambling activities to avoid being an irresponsible gambler.

I mostly agree on all of suggestion the OP provided to avoid being and irresponsible gambler and be professional however I kinda disagree on having some advice from various platforms such as youtube. It's not really bad to hear someone's advice and commentary on a gambling platform and it can be useful on your endeavours on platform. However, it's best to do a thorough check on these review and not base it on a single review.

These will happen if once a gambler can not control his/her emotion because playing in bling with a mindset of we are always winning and then a big loss will come. These tips are really good but they can not help you to become a professional gambler but just remind you of the necessary things to follow in gambling. I have been using most of these tips for a long time but I have not been able to improve my skills in the same poker game. In my opinion to become a professional player you need to have a good teacher who can teach you all the tricks. Unfortunately, I never met such a person.

I have always thought when someone says "professional gambler" are the ones who does not spend money for himself to gamble, but he's paid to gamble instead, like those people in a poker tournament that we've seen in the television.
However, some claims that there were really those people who lived through gambling and as their source of income. I don't know if it is the "main" source of income (which i highly doubt) or just a side income. Being professional at something means you're consistently earning, and that's kinda hard to achieve in gambling.

I have seen lists like this many times and there are always points about "understanding the game, odds, etc.", but nowhere are there examples of real practical mathematical tricks to at least start converting odds into percentages of probability.
