I would hold off for a while but that's just my opinion. Considering the market for BCH is far more volatile than BTC and there's a high-ish chance of just losing money right now, I would wait to see where it goes unless, maybe, you're putting in shorts for the altcoin. But you can see that it is down >30% over the past 24 hours, and to me that spells bad news for any coin that is trying to gain a foothold and bad news for any investor who's trying to make money off of gains. To answer your question, right now I would have to say not to buy for right now. There is simply too much risk and not enough of a reward.

If you plan invest in altcoin they new one Bcash is not that bad but i would wait for all dumpers becouse that coin has created SO MUCH free BTC that not many will get fast real $$$ from it.
Fist feew months will be rally hard for Bcash and if we will go to bear market it won't soon on buy side : )

dated August 15, 2017, if the Bitcoin Cash split chain can't survive then the Bitcoin Cash network will be considered a failure. but if it can survive the possibility of the price will rise. if you like the risk you can buy it and hold it until that date.

I don't see any good profit from buying BitcoinCash, the price suddenly plunge down in a day and many people just dump the coin after they got their BitcoinCash, it is a good free money but most of them don't care and won't used this coin at all, so investing in this coin is a bit risky and unsure

The hype is over, do not buy bch or else you will be stuck on that coin and you will hope that the price will move up again and you'll be ending being a holder of that hyped coin. There is no future with bch and bitcoin will still be the king of all the cryptocurrencies in the market.

It is up to you but if you look at the current trend right now. people are dumping Bitconnectcoin right now, you should do your research if Bitcoin cash has a good roadmap so they can pump their price, but right now it's just an altcoin which offer free money

Adding BCH to your portfolio is a risk since there is no clear future for it. You can try if you want to but I cannot take that risk when most are treating it as a shit. It might pump since many have claimed their free BCH but it might get dumped afterwards after the fun.

That might not be a bad idea, but honestly I don't think there's going to be a lot of demand even then. What might happen is that bch will be the object of some manipulation, i.e., a pump & dump. So I think there could be some profit potential. It's just a question of when. Holding bch for any other reason seems foolish to me. It's just another unnecessary altcoin in a world that has too many as it is.

I say don't buy it, just to be safe. I'm not a huge risk taker myself, so I won't be buying any.

I think that that BCH is a bad buy at the moment....the network is barely even producing blocks meaning that there is zero liquidity to the network at the moment....the only coins on the exchanges were the people who had BTC on those exchanges and received BCH....as soon as any mining power goes to BCH and difficulty goes down...lots of liquidity will come back and tons of supply will be dumped.

Buy in a month.

Everyone were thinking about Bitcoin in the initial time and who holded the Bitcoins at that initial time are now king. Same story is going to be repeated on BCH, their are so many ups and downs it has to face but if you see in long term like 2 or 3 yrs of time you will surely get a good result of profit.

this is the correct answer. the price is crazily distorted still.

there will be a pump from hell eventually. it's too damned tempting for people, but it ain't coming while everything is being straightened out. the only way is down for now but if you don't feel that you can always dollar cost average.

So imo there's still room for it to go down atm. In time they may indeed go for a run with this but it's not going to happen anytime soon.

Even though BCH price is falling, but I'm not interested to buying it. Despite the media talking about BCH does not guarantee that coins will be good in the future. Some say, there are no BCH miners and only chinese miners are not decentralized and BCH is not true crypto, so I'm worried and afraid to believe and buy BCH.
