Now I see many examples of icos failure, even the best, Vite, for examle has only x1,1 in eth, DACC x0,5, Usechain x0,7. While this is not the best time for icos on such market.
Some may have reached the promised price but some have not been reached. But when I observe the price of the token it will reach the promised value after how many weeks or months. sometimes even the value increases more than the number of tokens promised.
Sometimes it happens that the price of a token fall after the ico because of dumpers , bounty hunters, but it will easily recovered if the campaign has upcoming projects and if the devs will not abandon the team.
the suggestion that you convey is very true but with conditions like this it is very difficult to distinguish ico that we can believe we must be more thorough and know the team behind the ico

It's not a black and white issue, there are certainly exceptions. For example, if the technical team looks committed to the project (Linked in etc profiles loudly showing their involvement in the project) and if the whole ICO looks very well organised like in MeVu sports betting ICO, then it probably means they are in the long haul and they wont dump tokens easily.

I think there are more Altcoins after ICOS and more on the coinmarketcap than ICOS. Many on the conmarketcap have EDO prices now $ 0.86 when ICOS $ 2. But it is not comparable because the market we depend on Bitcoin discount too much so the Altcoins are discounted.

I think actually not all ICO token value that indicated there is not exactly the price after the ICO ended. Some maybe has achieved its promised price but some did not reach. But as I had observed the token price will reach in that promised value after how many weeks or months. even sometimes the value increases more than the promised amount of token. 
we have many reason for that. 1 bounty hunter dump their token. 2 market is on down trend so this is normal. dont worry to hold your coin. whale will make every recover soon
Bounty hunter will have to dump, because they're only relying their finances with crypto jobs which will give them rewards, and that will be used to feed their families for basic needs. However there were some cases that they have sold their tokens for a good purpose, during sudden spikes of each crypto value in the market. There's an opportunity for them to sell while the price could provide them possible surprising that could provide the hunters more than basic needs. Normally token price will really fall due to those reasons.
