Hey,

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.

Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.

What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?

stay with bitcointalk. here you can find many more information about ico. read the whitepaper project, find the project purpose and you can see what is the best ico. this is one of my favorite ico and you can check it.

On this all will not stop. In 2018, the number of ICOs will only increase, with a large number of them being either scammers or unprofitable. Therefore, you need to be careful when choosing ICO.
More ICOs were about to launch, many will notice it since they might feel secured now since there are government laws that applies in it. Many investors on stocks were transferring to crypto and they much preferred now to invest in ICO, we should just only be aware that we shpuld be diligent on finding a worth investing project.

You are right there are an awful lot of ICO out there competing for your ETH contribution so it is the right time to be selective and make sure that you are investing in something with potential and a sensible idea with real blockchain usage.

The best thing you need to do is take time to read the white paper. Try to check the information of the team. Check if it has already a working website. What are their future plans? Is the coin mineable or not. Did you get all the answer to your questions after reading the white paper or visiting their website. If yes, then  that is a good ICO. If not, stay away from it.

ICO a lot and it's good. There is a choice of coins, there is always something new and interesting. Crypto currency is developing. Although ICO sometimes are fraudulent, vseravno their utility exceeds this temporary trouble. Soon learn to regulate and ICO, there will be independent regulators who will check the projects and the team of this event and monitor the expenditure of collected funds. So, in general, ICO is very useful and necessary for the development of crypto-currencies.

The only way to learn about a good ICO is to do a thorough research on it before investing. its almost impossible to tell which ICO will perform well . but if you keenly look into their ideas and implementation strategies, u may know what will work and what wont, bottom line is, make an informed decision.

There is not an easy way to find good icos, the truth of the matter is you will need to go through all of those icos and read their websites, whitepapers and reviews and think for yourself, it is boring and it is a very tiring process since most icos are going to be a waste of time, but with time you will find a good ico and then you can make an investment and watch your money grow.

Refer to bounty section of the forum, you could see most of the bounties and their OP with something like this, you will get [insert token] stakes after a month from a successful ICO.

Like when I told people to advertise my activity token and when I have enough money I'll pay them for their advertisements.
How many ICOs do you know which offered tokens for $0.001 and really made you 10000x profit?
Do not click on a thread if it's not started by trusted members, if they are promising Billion dollar market, they should not offer some beggars on the internet, they should keep their coins and get rich.

This is a forum where some lowlife beggar posts an announcement to 10,000 Waves airdrop and 10000,0000 tokens, illiterate cunt doesn't know how to spell 100,000,000 correctly, and you have 50 low rank accounts posting for a zero value token.

You know it's funny though since all the big projects and companies must still make an announcement here on BitCoinTalk before launching. It's like this forum is the gateway to blockchain. It means scammers can easily present themselves as legitimate huge companies. As for the ICOs doing a x10,000 from $0.001.. there are a few.. BTC, ETH, IOTA come to mind off hand.

ICO's one of the best advance tech project, they are most advance platform than the other old coins in the marketcap. I'm a big fan of ICO anyway with real project and use cases.

I do agree that we are already flooded with ICO but some of the ICO seem fresh and promising, usually to know a good quality ICO, I start by reading the whitepaper, check the developer and the team are very important, see the roadmap and the vision of the coin, and then it's the marketing job to make their ICO to standout among ICO

When you invest in an ICO
make sure Roadmap is running and nothing is delayed delay
A successful example of ICO is CentraCard
While the ICO in question is Electroneum, the roadmap states that mobile mining will go online on November 1, 2017
But they lie, until now February 16, 2018, no changes to Electroneum, only website updates only

Indeed, there are too many ICO at this moment but it shouldn't be hard to find good projects since we have many ico review sites like icobench and icorating. Besides, a good ICO will shine on itself even without much advertisment as they focus on the development of the project—one should keep an eye for those.

It is true that there are too many ICOs these days and It is very difficult to find the good project. I believe ICOs should be strictly regulated so that they can't scam investors. I usually google search to know more about ICOs.

Often I am just looking at review sites and checking out videos from trusted YouTubers to find out which ICO is good to invest in and/or participate in their bounty. On YouTube, you'll get interesting ICO analysis and evaluation from people like Boxmining, Crypt0, The Crypto Lark, Ameer Rosic, Keith Wareing, Coin Bloq, etc. Look for their channels and find out for yourself why I recommend them.

I usually just find an ICO with many participants of the ICO and bounty participants of the campaign and it is based on how much & how good the community is, that is the criteria for choosing a good ICO in my opinion.
In another way, you can find a good ICO on the featured ICO rating website or John McAfee statement about it.
One thing you have to know, you have to think twice before investing your money in a project, because some of the projects it might be a scam.
