I would choose NEM and Verge. It seems to me that these coins can soon show a very good result again. But it may be necessary to wait a few weeks/months.

Im currently invested heavily into bitcoin, waves, and shift.

what are 3 good altcoins to look into that will see great return within the next 3-6 months.

Look at many ratings. There the clear answer about in what currencies to invest. The simplest answer Ethereum and Ripple. And this true worthy way to get some profit if you are rational and clever guy.

If you are looking for a good ICO then you should take a look at @Viberate - VIB
We all know that music is something that follows us trough our life. One of the good examples is YouTube.
@Viberate is something else but still connects a huge base of musicians and music fans. You can find ther informations about artists, venues, events, booking agencies and alot more to come according to their roadmap.

Another thing is that instead of mining you can earn some VIB's daily by participating in promotional activities.

I don't know the second one, but I think ripple looks good to buy. Its pump ended and in my opinion, it is giving a good chance to buy now.

Ripple and tron. but do not take them now. you need to wait for the recession and buy. but for them there will be a lot of news, so that they will still have an effect.

Although, there are many cryptocurrencies available for long-term investment namely;

Ripple (XRP)
Bitcoin ( BTC )
Monero (XMR)
Litecoin (LTC)
Ethereum (ETH)

But out of them Ripple (XRP) and Ethereum (ETH) are good for investment.

I like ETH and SIA (for now...)
I think the top 2 altcoins right now to invest now is the waves, me and classmate are investing a lot of money on waves because we are believing that someday the value of waves will pump just like the litecoin and my other top altcoins to invest now is eth or ethereum because it has a very bright future.

Enigma - ENG

1) Team - The Enigma team is perhaps the most qualified team in crypto. MIT Media Lab has been at the forefront of blockchain since the beginning, and innovation in general. In addition to MIT pedigrees, they have real, tenured backgrounds in development and distributed systems - it truly amazes me how many projects have generated higher market cap with zero credibility in distributed systems (let alone non-development backgrounds...).

2) Protocol ambition - unless you do the research, it's easy to miss what they are trying to accomplish. The most recent blog post outlines potential real-world use cases in six large industries, each $50B+. To help understand, I've pulled out passages from select blog posts:

"This is an ambitious vision that rivals the scale of large projects like Ethereum and Filecoin while complementing their functionality. In addition to our data protocol, we are building products (such as Catalyst) that will democratize the tools for interacting with and consuming data."

"[The Enigma protocol] aspires to complement a blockchain (of any kind) with an off-chain data network (essentially — a single, always-on decentralized database), in much the same way that payment networks (e.g., Raiden) offer better financial transactions scalability. Essential to the Enigma network is the ENG token

"We hope this explains the reasoning behind our naming. Enigma was, and still is the name given to the decentralized data marketplace protocol. It is also the name of the company behind it. Catalyst is the first application to encourage adoption of a decentralized protocol that we hope would one day hold the long-tail of data on the web. As the name suggests, Catalyst is meant to speed up the adoption of this protocol."

"We are facing the opportunity to completely reshape dozens of industries, each with tens or hundreds of billions of dollars of unlockable value, if we can solve the two major issues of blockchains: scalability and privacy."

3) A functioning product - Catalyst is the first product example and already available for use. Catalyst is only the beginning and I believe pales in comparison to broader Enigma protocol use cases, but it serves as a proof of concept and a proof point that the team is legitimate and can deliver. Many other larger market cap projects have nothing beyond a whitepaper.

4) Incredibly undervalued - a 30x return may sound high, but that would result in a ~$12B USD market cap today (less than Cardano / Stellar / Tron - honestly not unreasonable ignoring marketing / hype and based on project merit alone).

Decentralization is the future, but most crypto projects today are held up by irrational market exuberance alone and will ultimately fail. The Enigma protocol has the ability to become the backbone of our decentralized world.

Ripple and Monero are the best coins in the coming year. Ripple has huge potential as it became 2nd largest cryptocurrency just before the new year.
Monero has been dormant for sometime. Expect a boom very soon.

Do you really think, that someone can give you usefull advice?
You must choose it by yourself. Everone have some favourite altcoins, but thats doesnt mean, that they are profitable to invest.

Sort of right. It's always best to have your own research. I am really fascinating by improvement I am personally making. There are tons of youTube videos to learn, there are few telegram channel with some honest admin who's intention is not just to take your money but to teach you. If you do your research and study you will find your feeling which one to invest.

By the way do fall into the trap of XRP lol

I personally agree with what seems to be the most popular vote, ETH, it will do pretty amazing things this year after breaking that 1000 roof, keep in mind there are a lot off valuable companies built on top of Ethereum and a lot of upcoming ICOs, which by the way would be my other suggestion, look for those well thought out and developed projects coming out with icos asking for relatively low amounts of funding they will prove to be some of your best investments

My top picks would be eXRN and eBitcoin. They are still far from the top but are slowly rising and have a good team. They also have a low value which means they can make 10x or 100x jumps easily. Of course they are not the safe bet as top 15 coins, but depends what you are looking for. In any case research those two. They basically rose from the "e" overload that happened a few months ago, which they survived and are now trying to make something out of it.

That is if you are interested in speculation. If you are interested in technology then invest in what you like and would like to support. I personally do believe in those two, among couple of others. I like IOTA very much, regarding the speculation - I think we already missed the train for the next couple of months, but regarding the technology I think it is an investment opportunity in any case.
A good choice, which I also support, because I was interested in these coins and I see them with great appospects in terms of how they can give a good X.
