My top picks would be eXRN and eBitcoin. They are still far from the top but are slowly rising and have a good team. They also have a low value which means they can make 10x or 100x jumps easily. I have faith on electroneum and monero.
I think they are Ethereum and Waves. These projects have much in common. They provide large opportunities for other companies to start ICO's on their platforms, so these two coins are really in great demand now. They also have some cool features which allows to use them in everyday life.
I like both dogicoin and litecoin to invest in these coins in the future because the price is also good and i to buy the and hold them for the future so now the price is not good to make profit for me. i have still using the crypto currencies like bitcoin and i want to invest some of the amounts into altcoin.

And let's skip bitcoin as it's not an altcoin, go with NEM as it's still one of the main altcoins that is undervalued and not that making some bumps for this early days of 2018.

I prefer an upcoming ICO Daneel.The project is an AI which is considered to be a smart assistant for our day to day problems regarding crypto currencies. I think ETH and XRP is cool coins.

I think wave is a very good choice. I'd still litecoin, and Ethereum. I think they have good growth prospects.
Of course it's NEO. You will find that the 2018 belongs to NEO, and more and more ICOs are built on NEO rather than ETH. The only two blockchains that can support smart contracts for now.
