But Kamala Harris trying to swing the people's votes in her favor is even worse when Trump first declared his more lenient legislation on crypto if brought back into office.
Have you been to the democrats website where they are vocal about their stance on cryptocurrency?
It is very laughable and concerning at the same time.

Here is an rather interesting article I found yesterday about how their odds are on polymarkets with a 50/50 split suddenly after RFK announced he will be supporting the Republican party under Trump after officially dropping out of the presidential race late last week:

https://www.theblock.co/post/312973/harris-trump-standoff-on-polymarket

But @pooya87
What about him freeing Dread Pirate Roberts Aka. Ross Ulbricht
We are discussing about him mentioning this during the Bitcoin Conference a few weeks ago.

I think Trump will catch the attention of crypto enthusiasts for this and for me  it's an advantage against his rivals. Well yeah the congress is I think the only hindrance of Trump's plans here since most of them were democrats. They may find ways to oppose things in favor of democrats. But yeah we will see how it's going because it's too early to say things right now.

Currently, not all but the majority of crypto investors are on Trump's side and supporting him, he has received huge support from the crypto community. But that does not mean he will be elected because cryptocurrency is not a key factor in determining the election results, votes from cryptocurrency only help him increase his chances of winning, but do not guarantee victory for him.

If Trump is elected, there will certainly be changes in Congress, there will always be changes from the Senate, House of Representatives, and Congress every time a member of another party comes to power. So you are right in saying that it is still very early to say what will happen.
But what people are more concerned about is whether Trump will really keep his promises after being elected or will forget everything he promised after achieving his goals. Grin

I disagree with this. Trump is running as a pro-freedom/anti-regulation candidate.
US regime has always been the biggest anti-freedom and pro-regulation/surveillance regime ever since its inception. Whoever goes in the oval office is not changing that. You also seem to have forgotten that Trump was already president for 4 years and nothing about the regime's anti-freedom and pro-regulation/surveillance attitude changed. Not even a little bit...

Trump also owns over a million dollars worth of crypto.
If Bitcoin hits $100,000 in this cycle and if the President of the USA is Trump, people will attribute that price growth to Trump. If Bitcoin won't hit $100k this cycle but get it in a next cycle, under a next different President, then people it gets it because of that President, not because of Trump.
I disagree with this. Trump is running as a pro-freedom/anti-regulation candidate. He wants to make it safe to do R&D and do business in the US for crypto-related companies. It will be today's R&D that will push tomorrow's increased demand for bitcoin.

Trump would have difficulty passing pro-crypto laws through Congress. I think Democrats have a majority in at least one part of it.

We will never no, once the election is over, maybe they will have the majority of the Congress.

But we will see, Trump is now being called the crypto-President, so if ever he will win, we might see Bitcoin goes up, in short to long term.

Another good question though: What will voters value though? their political beliefs or Bitcoin?  Grin

Whether bitcoin receives Trump's support or not, it is only a matter of time before bitcoin reaches $100k and conquers even higher levels because almost no one can stop bitcoin. Even under President Biden, despite draconian government policies or troubles created by the SEC, bitcoin and the entire market has seen significant growth. We support Trump simply because if he really keeps his promise to us, the process of bitcoin reaching $100k will happen faster and stronger, which is what everyone wants.

I agree with you that Bitcoin has its own job, and it can reach $100,000 with any President. Time is important because time can help Bitcoin adoption to increase more. It is more important for its price, and who is President of USA is not too much important.

I believe Bitcoin will get $100,000 for one BTC in this cycle.

Bitcoin will still reach $100K or more regardless of who becomes president of the United States. But do you agree that if Trump is elected and keeps his promise, he enacts bills promoting the development of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin will definitely achieve its goals faster? That is the reason when faced with the choice between Trump and Harris. I would choose him over any other democratic candidate because if they continue Biden's harsh policies, we will be slowed down and will take longer to achieve our goals.
No one can stop the growth of bitcoin but we should choose those who support it over those who seek to stop it.

Seems the interview from Elon Musk's general interview with Donald Trump broke the platform and delayed it from starting for around 18 minutes until they could restore it stable enough to conduct the conversation with the former president:

Claiming they had close to a billion views at 998 million when it happened across other platforms who linked to X.

But many people think that voting for Trump means we are worshiping him like a cult, which is a misconception. Trump or no Trump, bull season will come but it will be even better if we have a stronger catalyst coming from a president.

Of course. Bitcoin went up in the past without the US government support. Trump wasn't even in the picture. I'm confident it will reach a new ATH in the long term, regardless of who wins this year's presidential race. Rest assured, that if Trump wins again, the "pump" will happen faster than you can imagine. Especially when he promised his administration will draft crypto-friendly policies to spur the growth of the industry in the country. Big crypto industry players already consider Trump as the ideal POTUS.

If Trump loses (which I doubt), BTC will have a hard time "pumping" towards new heights. It will take a little longer than usual to see positive results on your investment. If Americans want to speed things up, they should vote for Trump. I think the economy will start booming during a second Trump term. We can't predict the future, so lets hope for the best. Smiley

Trump is back on X today from his last post about a year ago on August 24, 2023 when he was banned from doing so.
The post is a political campaign video but it more of like a trailer for a movie.
Since he will be on X with Elon Musk hosting an interview with the former president in around an hour and a half.
Will see what he has to say on there with Musk having X as a platform without censorship.

It's true that politicians sometimes use all means to get supporters, but hopefully Trump will really be pro for BTC so that the bad news about BTC will decrease a little and the increase in BTC will quickly reach 100k$ in the future.

Wow, I had read about the new VP but did not know this aspect. It seems then that Trump's pro-Bitcoin turn is in earnest. In general I don't trust politicians, and if it's on the campaign trail even less but Trump would be neither the first nor will he be the last to change his stance on Bitcoin (remember Saylor, for example). He also received $2 from the Winklevoss twins. But if the VP has personally Bitcoin it seems clear that if he wins with his policies he is going to be favorable to Bitcoin and all that surrounds it. There are also several big name Republicans involved in Bitcoin and the Mining Industry, like Ted Cruz for example.

Kamamala is not only anti crypto, she is anti-freedom. Only state loving communists would vote for her and there are plenty of these people who like to collect government hand outs in the US.

See r/antiwork. You won’t find a republican there. All communist demonrat voters.

Had you seen this nonsense from the democrats yet?
Kamala for Crypto campaign she is running I think there was a site put up too.
What an utter joke to try and turn the tide by copying Trump. They have a debate scheduled for September 10th so we will see who is for crypto and who is the farce.
He should ask why did they move all those bitcoins to an exchange right after his speech saying he will hold and never sell.
Seems like a rat tactic to me.

Don't think Trump did his homework of who Adin Ross was and what he has done in the past before agreeing to do the interview with him.
Remember his last one with Andrew Tate and him smelling the chair after he got up from it wearing a bathrobe? That was him showing his beta side and kneeing to the alpha.
Just plain weirdness from this social media podcaster.
Receiving a rolex and the cybertruck after the interview is not allowed for even gifting a political candidate of more than $3300 during an electoral year.
So I hope Trump didn't accept these post interview.

The stock market went tits up yesterday across the globe and caused BTC to have a drop of over 12% in less than 12 hours. Think I seen some toting it as Black Monday on some media.

Of course during this political landscape we are currently in each of the presidential candidates took the opportunity to jab at one another after this collapse in everything yesterday.
So this has become a memewar of sorts since they are full out using the social networks to get their message across just as before but this time ten fold.

And we can all blame it on the Democrats. After all, the economic crisis started after Biden took office. If the stock market is crashing during the Biden administration, what makes you think a Harris administration would be any better? Back then when Trump was president, the economy was booming. Americans need him back on the White House to ensure the country becomes the center of the global stage again.

Right now, the US is a laughingstock. By adopting Bitcoin, America will rise all the way to glory. And what better way to ensure the future of the crypto industry (and America) by voting for Trump? Hopefully, voters make the right decision before it's too late.

To be fair, I support Trump because I hope he will bring a new breeze, a better future to the cryptocurrency industry. But I think some of the promises are being exaggerated here. Using bitcoin as a national reserve asset is not easy, everything would have to go through 2 houses before being approved by Congress and I don't think this would be successful even if Trump proposed it. Regarding using BTC to support USD, that is even more impossible, a highly volatile asset cannot support a currency that is losing value on a daily basis.
We support Trump but need to be realistic about what can and cannot happen.

Yes. Trump is exaggerating a little bit to attract voters. But he's still a better option than Harris or RFK Jr. When Trump was president, the government treated crypto lightly. It wasn't as "hostile" to the industry as the current administration. We can say Democrats are more against crypto than all the other way around. This has become a political issue within the United States. Those who support crypto are from the right (Republicans), and those who reject it are from the left (Democrats).

I sure hope Trump wins back the White House. It will give a much needed boost to the crypto market. Perhaps, BTC will go all the way to $100k? Only time will tell. With Russia approving crypto use for international trades, it would be dumb for America to move away from the crypto revolution. Who knows what the future holds? Cheesy

If Harris claimed to be pro-crypto, I would actually reconsider some of the other factors in deciding who to vote for, but so far, they don't seem to have any crypto-friendly intentions. If they have decided to create boundaries and be hostile towards us, why should we try to please them or submit to them when we have better options?

Personally, I also hope Trump enters the White House again because that will give us the opportunity to develop and escape the limitations compared to the current situation. Only people who don't want bitcoin to reach $100k and don't want the industry to grow will vote for Harris instead Trump, IMO.

Since that speech during the Bitcoin Conference stating he will keep bitcoin and never sell.
Guess the democrats wanted to ruin his plans and start selling everything that the U.S government has in their possession since last week when they moved a large amount into two separate wallets.
Hence the price dropping below $52,000 this morning.
Call it the Trump Dump if you will.
