No other way to recover your loss but to keep on trading or investing if you failed on your first attempt don't just give up, keep on learning and make sure to study before trading. Loss is a loss move on and don't lose hope because this market is a never ending opportunity for everyone who wants to become more rich.

Previous few month we see all altcoin price is decrease. So at this time how I recover my loss.I decided one think,I want to sell my all altcoin now.And try to start trade and recovery again. It's possible? Can I do this.Tell me your opinion, can do or not?
As what i have known and think about it. You can be able to recover your money because since all of the coins are had a time to decrease and it also bases in the bitcoin deacreases but its on process of recovery . All you need to do is to wait for a short term of time to make your money recover and possibly  to increases more. It is more acceptable to have and happened. So that i preffer and must say that if you want a recovery wait gor the perfect time.

You felt threatened that is why you wanna sell all your coins.  Cheesy anyway, you can still do your own strategy by selling all useless altcoins you have. Then buy promising and potentially alts like monero, litecoin, etc. After that, hodl them.. From there I am sure you will recover from your previous loss.

In this way, they can easily recover his loses most of the people don't know how to choose the best altcoin which will give good returns in long term. Check-in CMC for good potential coin and yes sell the shit coin and buy good coin which can give good returns.

Of course, no one expects continuous losses. but right now, that has become a reality, I have lost 40% of my currency's value recently. Maybe things slide pretty fast for me. But I will not sell them for the fall of the loss. I will wait the market back to welcome a boom worth like last year.

If you have a fear that the market is going to dump more than you have calculated than the best way is to cash out half of your crypto currency and re invest it when the dump is over and the price is lower, by this you will not only be able to recover the loss but also it will add more profit. You will minimize the effect of the loss and maximize the effect of the profit. This is what I do, and is advised to all the new comers as well as other colleagues.

it's easy to find a legitimate trading or investment and you spend all your money so you get back to what you do not have to do just as you are not familiar so you can not lose it.

it depends of which coins are we talking about if you tell us it is better...

by the way:
-never sell anything
- it is the worst time to sell altcoins
- i sugget to hodl until altcoins start recuperation

If he has really prepared himself for trading, then selling will be the last thing he wants to do right now. Also, if he is prepared, then why ask us since I believe he should know what to do already. Some people think they can just recover their losses from trading anytime they feel like without learning, he will just end up losing more and the whales will be happy to take the little he has been managing to hold away from him.

The best is for him to be patient and hold, and if he wants to trade, he should start learning, then know when to sell when the market starts skyrocketing and giving a sell signal.

I've tried what your thinking of doing and it didnt really workout for me.  I ended up loosing more than what i initially had and it created a sense of desperation in me which made me want trade even more in an attempt to recover my profits. If i were you i would just hodl which is what im doing right now.
It would definitely not work. Every sign the alts are showing in the market now is ‘buy signals’ and selling now to trade like the OP have said is just going to make him end up feel like he has been cursed because selling now and the market moving up, is another loss on its own.

At this stage, the best is to wait it out and hold for the profit, learn techniques and indicators on how to buy and sell instead of doing it blindly and start taking advantage of the market from there.

If you are new to trading and don't know what to look out for decision making, I suggest not to do so. I have done that and it's like gambling for me and well I also lost a bit. I wish I would have spread out my investment though.
For unprofessional traders, it appears similar to gambling but in reality, both are poles apart. Gambling is totally shit whereas trading is a game or professionals. You need to show your creativity and sharpness in order to design your trading strategies that really earn you what you want. It is good that you realized timely that trading is not your cup of tea otherwise some noobs have lost large amounts here.

Selling or cutting loss is not recommended. That was a bad idea. Just HODL, selling altcoins in this down markets are for weak hands. The best way to recover your investments, is to buy again in the dip. Much better to buy again than cutting loss.

It wont work if you have the coins already since we are all down now.

You will have to hold instead of just losing them.
Many got the same problem like yours. The fight here is your patience. Take this as a holiday and just rest. Maybe next week there will be good news again. Hope and move to spread the news about the altcoin you are supporting.
Personally I didn’t get this point why people lose patience. On this forum just see hundreds of threads are there and every other post in them is advisory to hold your mind when situations are not according to your plan. Don’t lose your control and don’t be panicked when prices are going down. Still see the responses, how stupidly these people behave in such circumstances.

if you sell your bitcoin you do cutlose and make a loss, you think you can get recover by selling and buying at below price right? but the risk is huge right now, you might get more losses? but if you keep insisting on it, make sure you leave a few percent to hold. because I'm still confident of holding back will recover your losses in the next few weeks
but much people doesnt have that patience.evenmore new investor in crypto market ,could be certained they would felt panic .crypto market right now in not good condition.to much fud entering in it.

But FUD always enters the market no matter what happens. People dont have  steel strong nerves to support them and they fall for every newbie theory that shills make up on the social media. Like I have previously said, the social media including faceache, twatter and instahater are filled with shitcoin promoting shills.

If you want to recover from the losses, the first thing that you need to do is simply control your emotions. It is pretty normal for us to see these dips over and over again due to various factors like investing in other coins, withdrawing funds for emergency purposes, fears that government might ban cryptocurrency, etc.
Well that FUD for sure but its pretty vague on what you said. People become resistant to these news after some exposure.

However, most of us are just misunderstood about what is going on with cryptocurrency lately, which creates FUD. For us to recover from losses, we just keep buying more during the dip or even increase your income potential by not just sticking to your day job.
FUD is created by shills (mostly). Buying more and more is not always good specially for altcoins which are going stagnant. For bitcoin its always good.

I think if the altcoins you have invested no sign of increase then you should sell all then invest in the top 10 cryptos to be able to recover your loss quickly. If you hold these altcoins, the exchange rate will not be recoverable because the nature of altcoins is an only short-term investment, not long-term.
Go for better choice when such decision making situation comes. As here you have said it right, whenever someone hold any altcoin that is not recovering back, wait for a limited time, after that don’t wait anymore because may be that altcoin going to die forever. Take up sometime, decide according to your plans, and sell them as soon as possible. Your plans must be flexible.

ok. this is also a good choice. but to do this, you have to have a good knowledge. how can you do which coin will recover soon in this dropping market? Do you have enough information to give decision? i hope that you can find the anwsers
Better is to stick with one’s own coin and that coin should be either bitcoin or any from the top altcoins. The reason is they all are believed to recover after every dump and bitcoin is the most amazing one. There are like 600 coins in the digital market but most of them are just trash. It would be beneficial and smart of a person to hold bitcoin during the dump and save himself from the trouble of figuring out which one is going to recover first because the real point is how much a coin recovers.

If you can sell the coins that are in your wallet and fold the money, why not? But if you believe that your future of altcoins, you can choose to HODL them now, because these bad news always happen on the market. Your own choice is always right, because you lose with your own choice, not the opinions of others. You are ressponsible own decisions.  Cool

You could continue to maintain until they increase in price since if you do not sell you could not consider it lost until you sell the coins and if you want to recover you could trade with the first 30 coins of the coinmarketcap which have a lot of potential and are more likely to increase price

Of course it's totally possible if you want to. But IMO you shouldn't do that cause not only crypto that you're holding dump, the whole market is dumping as well just because of downtrend and a lot of bad news. I think you should keep it for a little bit longer when this terrible time over. In next month I think everything will be better and the whole market will be green again.
