The transfer season in the Super League ended today. This season, football teams did not make many transfers because their financial situation was not sufficient. They were very careful while transferring. I think the sensational transfers we used to be used to are in the old times for the Turkish Super League.

Unfortunately Fatih Terim has always been known to get his kind of players and he was never good at roster engineering. I do not remember too many times he found a gem for cheap that turned out to be a great player, he always spends money on local players who are not good enough and pay a lot for them and almost always turns out to be not enough of a player. Right now Galatasaray have players that we could have seen from anatolian clubs usually, or even second division (named first ironically).

So, with a new management, new manager, and new players, in a few years there is nothing stopping them from becoming the best team again, but it will take a while before that happens.

Honestly the roster galtasaray has is not even close to being enough to compete in this league. Which is mind boggling considering they have spent so much money to build this roster. I do not know what they were thinking and how they did it, but they somehow managed to spend more than most teams and still build a roster that is worse than most teams.

Mismanagement is definitely something that have been bugging them for a few years now, and the roster they have is just beyond stupid, something that we could build in Football Manager with the same funds would have been a lot better than this if you ask me. In any case, we could see them at least getting a point after many weeks, that is an "improvement" for them to say the least, but not enough at all.

All the performances of Galatasaray this year are bad. There are no players that can play like they used to. It doesn't matter if it's a defense, midfielder or forward, they all play like they're trying to be the worst team in the league.
This team needs a lot of support to get better. If the match results continue to come in this way, it will be very sad things for Galatasaray.

I understand that Galatasaray are having a bad season. I literally knew they won't win the game. Although, after Alanyaspor got a one man down. Galatasaray has been losing for the last 5 games, even if they are not in the relegation zone, they are very close now. If there is 1-2 more losses, it will be very difficult for the team to mentally recover. Only Kerem creates extra in the team, Kerem alone is not enough. Even if you look at the current situation they still can't get out of the Relegation Zone because they are in Position 17 of the Table at the moment.
Of course this is a significant decrease in achievement because if you look at the 2019/2020 season they have been very good because they managed to finish in 9th position but after that they actually experienced a setback in the following seasons and even now it can be said to be the worst.
It's clear that if they really want to be in a higher caste they have to come up with a new strategy and not just rely on a draw to survive.
