Galatasaray is playing really badly in the league this season. As you said, it is not normal for a team that plays so well in European games to be among the worst teams in the league.
With the change of coach, I think Galatasaray will return to normal in a few games. They could finish the league in tenth place or a similar result this season. This has been the worst season they've had in years
They have lost the last 4 matches in a row in Galatasaray. They have conceded 10 goals in these 4 matches. This suggests that the main problem in Galatasaray is a weak defense. Unless new talented players are added to the defense, their game will not improve.
Besiktas was out of the top 10 of the points table even a few weeks ago. But now they are the sixth team in the table. And if they win the next match, maybe they can go to the third place in the table. Galatasaray still has plenty of time. If they can strengthen their defense, maybe they will be in the top 10 of the table.
There are 38 games right? If I am not wrong that means there is 15 more games left, 45 possible points. Even if they could get like 30 of those, that is going to be midtable at the very worst case for them. It means around 2 points for each 3 point possibility, a lot of wins, a bit of draws and very few losses. Could they do that? They potentially could, if it was all about the roster then they wouldn't be able to go to next stage in europa, they are decent enough to go to next stage so they are capable of doing better in the league.

The key word here is "capable", just because they are capable doesn't mean they will be able to do it. Just realize that they are not really doing something that they should be doing right now, and that shows that they suck at the league so they could also keep doing bad in the league as well. They may not relegate, but they do not feel like they will recover too much neither.

The top three teams of this league all are having a bad season that's for certain. But things are a little more different for Galatasaray which we should admit also. Because they are even under the danger of relegating from this league. I can't even imagine Galatasaray being in the second league. Normally, a team must go bankrupt or something like that to become this unlucky. But this is not the situation for Galatasaray. I really don't get how a team can be this successful in the Europa League while they are terrible in their domestic league.

It is really difficult to understand what is going on with Galatasaray now. They are continually losing in the Turkish Super League these days. And I saw the result of their last game which was a friendly against Tuzlaspor. They lost the game by a 2-6 score. I know that it was a friendly but Galatasaray had their main players as far as I saw in the game. Just how can you manage to do this? The problem must be growing every day now. And I've really no idea about what they should do to fix this.
This season is not a good one for Galatasaray, they are far behind on the standings. Their performance are terrible. Unlike last season, I don't even think they will be able to end this season at the top 4.  They are currently at the 15th place, and also barely four points from the relegation zone. The only possible way for them to fix it things up is to probably rebuild their squad, while they also get a new experienced Coach. Because, it seems Domènec Torrent is not going a great job on the club.

Well all 3 top clubs are terrible this season somehow and its really wierd that in same time all 3 are terrible. I expected at least Besiktas to try and fight for the title but they are terrible as well. Trabzonspor has an amazing chance after 30 + years to win the title
Besiktas is having a really really bad season, no question about that. Especially the scoring side. Batshuayi is a good player and not playing too terrible but he is not what Besiktas needs as a striker. He might be a more suitable player for 4-4-2 for example, but not the current style Besiktas is playing. And also during the first maybe 5 or 10 games of the season, the referee decisions were incredibly but seriously incredibly bad. Besiktas was kinda kicked out from the competition, so to speak. Then the coach Sergen Yalcin was sacked or he wanted to resign, then Besiktas just lost the chance for title already. And also almost every player had injuries and missed some games. There was a time Besiktas couldn't find almost 11 players to play. My point is, it could be a Besiktas season again but the referee decisions and injuries prevented that.

Injuries, wrong referee decisions together with the very bad results in the champions league demoralized the team. I am sure that no one has even predicted that Beşiktaş will be in this ranking this year. I expected a very good performance from Beşiktaş. However, this year is a terrible season not only for Beşiktaş, but also for Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. Trabzonspor are doing great this year and they are closer to the championship than ever before. Konyaspor following them, but now they can follow them to a certain extent. Trabzon can even make early championship celebrations.

Beşiktaş wasn't bad in terms of the game this season, they found plenty of positions in every match, but there was a finishing problem. When they couldn't score many goals in the matches, they were conceding goals from ridiculous mistakes and lost unnecessary points. Penalties not given and cards that did not go out to the opponents had no limits, the team was massacred on the field. Not on occasional matches, this has happened in at least fifteen games. The powers that be intervened directly in the game and changed the fate of the league. I don't blame coach and players much.

this is indeed beyond all of our expectations, but I feel it will be very difficult for them to be relegated but indeed the chance to move up to the top table will be very difficult.
They are now in 15th position and that means only 2 steps away for them to get into the relegation zone but I'm sure they won't be there but maybe they shouldn't be expecting too much with their current position

A difficult situation galatasray team is having its a big difference between last season and this season performance i think the main reason why they are doing good in europa league and bad in the super league is the lack of consistancy because when playing for a league title its the most important thing and i think their coach is doing mistake he has many good players on the bunch and he is not giving them the chance to play.

Galatasaray doesn't give any signal of recovery. In the friendly match, they conceded six goals from Tuzlaspor, one of the lower league teams. This season has been a huge disappointment for them. Despite doing well in Europe, they are having one of their worst seasons in the league. If things had gone badly in Europe, action could have been taken sooner, but this misled them. They signed young players with low contract but with high transfer fees, they said they are planning for three years, but they sent the coach in six months. It is clear that the planning was wrong. This year will go down in history as a lost season.

I'm a Galatasaray fan by the way and I'm really sad about the current condition of my team. They are only three points above the relegation area now as far as I can see. This is really alarming even if there are still many league games waiting to be played. Galatasaray have done great in the Europa League so far and I really appreciated their huge performance there. But I still don't understand why they are not the same in the Super League. Something really interesting is going on with this team and I hope that they can start recovering as soon as possible.

It is the roster that was built basically. First of all the roster was not build for a specific system, it was build because players were young and cheap and that is why they got them. Now, that they are missing some players as well, and some players are playing badly, it became too obvious.

Muslera saved them from many losses before, he has been in the club for a long time and he has been helping them a lot, with him gone and a horrible goalkeeper, they ended up being even worse on that front.

Midfield is near empty, nobody to note on that place, and attacking is not horrible with kerem and mustafa when they play but when they do not, then nobody else can step up. Long story short roster is horrible, go get Pep to manage this team and he won't be able to do wonders with this team, he would be better than this, but not championship level at all.
It is totally understandable if the roster was bad, and it is not really good neither I can agree with that. But 15th? Just 3 points ahead of relegation zone? I mean yeah I would get like 8th or something like that on a bad season, but this roster is not deserving of 15th place at all.

I believe they could have been in top 10 easily without a problem. They should be thankful that they are not too far ahead of that top 10 place, if they have some winning streaks by the end of the season (which they will face a lot of great teams) then they could maybe get into top 10. Only 2 game difference between 9th and them, so they could still get there. In any case, Torrent didn't had a great start at all.

^^ Actually, I don't think that the roster is horrible and I actually think it is a decent Roster and the players are decent but the problem is they are not performing right now and they are absolutely in a bad form. And to be honest, things don't look so good for them and it's hard to see them making a comeback this season at all.

But the thing is they have to improve their game and play better and no one else is going to do that for them. And they have a big problem considering their midfield because it does not look like anyone can make any type of playa and they are unable to able their attackers.

Well, they have changed their manager already and I think that now some new strategy and the change of authority is going to to help them in some ways.

But if it does not then they have to realize that the problem is not their manager but within themselves. They have to improve their game immediately and start bringing good results.

Actually, the results of Galatasaray are quite interesting. This team performs very well in European matches, always trying to play very well. But they are very bad in league matches, they are among the worst teams in the league.
I think with the new coach the team will start to get better results in a while. No matter how important Fatih Terim was for this team, it was time to leave. It's good to have changes within the team at times like these

Galatasaray really need to improve their game immediately. I know that they are doing well in the Europa League. They have done more than just "well" actually. They finished the group stage as the leader in the end. Their performance was really mesmerizing. I watched them closely especially in the Marseille match that they got a huge win. But something is odd when it comes to the Super League. They've changed their manager but I think they shouldn't have done this. I don't think that the real problem is about the manager.
Galatasaray is playing very badly this year. There is probably no team that finished first in the group in the European league and ranked 15th in its league. Galatasaray is the Turkish team that goes to European cups the most. They've only collected 27 points in 23 games this year. They are only 2 rows above the relegation zone.  Interestingly, if the lower ranked teams also defeat Galatasaray, they can even enter the relegation pot. In the European league, they play very interestingly well.

That's right, and if we look at the current 5 games. 1 win 4 times lost and this will be beyond my predictions this season.
and even if we see at the moment they are at a disadvantage and are still struggling at the bottom.
This season they played with destruction almost on all fronts. Their back line is fragile on the other hand their front line can't get supplies so it's difficult to score goals. Losing a captain and a mainstay goalkeeper has had an effect on their team this season

I think that the problem with this roster is there is not really good chemistry between the players and in the field which is affecting them a lot. With this roster as you said it is absolutely possible to be in the top 10 places but now it seems to be really hard for them. And 15th is just not good enough for them and they obviously have to do better. They need some wins very desperately. But it will be hard to do as they are going to play against some really good teams.
Anyway, Galatasaray should have bounced back by not dropping points all the time. The target to win in the next match is very heavy for Galatasaray, so when getting a tougher opponent at least Galatasaray should be able to give the final result a draw if winning is considered hard for them. The gap up and down remains close there, so Galatasaray just need to play more carefully at least play defensively if they are able to do well I think it will also be safe for their position in the standings.

Göztepe want Oğuzhan Özyakup from Beşiktaş but I don't think he would agree to go play there both financial and field reasons. He can't earn as much as he earns in Beşiktaş, he wouldn't leave İstanbul even though İzmir has also similar lifestyle standards. If Beşiktaş offer a new contract he would accept smaller contract as he didn't play much with his huge contract recent years. I can't believe Oğuzhan is still in his twenties, what a wasted career, he was very promising midfielder but last three seasons he didn't play much, he should've been in his prime years.

Oğuzhan Özyakup is one of the Turkish players whose career I was really surprised by.  Expectations were very high.  However, Beşiktaş has been performing really badly lately.  Beşiktaş may not want to extend their contract.  He did not perform adequately for his contract value.  I don't think he will go to Göztepe.  He will wait for a contract from Beşiktaş.  If the contract offer does not come, it may consider the Göztepe option.
