Rıdvan Yılmaz was going to Europe, the transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt didn't happen in last minute. While it was expected that he will stay in Beşiktaş this season, transfer news has started to come again. Last season's Europa League finalist Rangers want Rıdvan. Rangers sold Calvin Bassey to Ajax for a big money and now they are considering buying Rıdvan as replacement. They made an offer of 6 million Euro but that's not enough. They earned 26.5 million Euro on Bassey so they can raise this transfer fee. Beşiktaş is in no hurry as Rıdvan should be sold only at his real value.

Lazar Markovic was a promising winger actually when he was young. People had big hopes about him but he couldn't improve his game much and he is a disappointment now unfortunately. He played for Fenerbahce as well in the past but couldn't shine there too. Now at the age of 28, he is back in the Turkish Super League to play for Gaziantep FK. To tell the truth I don't have big expectations from him. I expect him to have an average season or maybe it can be lower as he hasn't been performing well.
With the age of just 28 and having big setbacks mean now he is already going to below then average player but now coming back in Turkey and having chance at Gaziantep FK can bring both sides of his career more down and having good future now this all depends on him how he is going to turn this because as he is dropped from Fulham mean his future is already dead in this game and if he wants to restart than give his 100% or just leave this all for any other better work because he already lost his best age in this without any good result just a big disaster which is going to more deepen if he is not going to change things for himself.

Gaziantep FK transferred Lazar Markovic, whose contract with Partizan ended, for free. He previously played in the Turkish league with Fenerbahçe jersey. Markovic, who was trained by the Partizan infrastructure and transferred to Benfica for 10 million Euro, then went to Liverpool with high hopes for 25 million Euro, but was unsuccessful. After being loaned to various clubs, Liverpool released him. He's supposed to be in prime of his career right now, but he's signed to an average team. His career took a huge hit. Let's see what he can do in his new club.
I watched Lazar Markovic in Partizan last season and he was under any expectations. He was the captain of the team but played really bad and Partizan just didnt want to keep him plus he had a really big wage. So as a Partizan fan im happy that he left the club. Hopefully he starts playing good somewhere else
Well thanks for informing us with your commentary on Lazar Markovic, buddy. At the age of 28 this much drop in football career is really something unusual. Liverpool, Fulham, Partizan, Gaziantep. Seems so bad. I think he will never recover from this. He can go to Championship at England at best. I agree he should have been like first eleven player in teams like Fulham AT WORST at the age of 28. I feel bad whenever I see player having terrible career like this.

I was not satisfied with Lazar Markovic's performance last season. The team expects a better performance from players with talent and high wages like him. But he failed to live up to expectations. However, Lazar Markovic is only 28 years old. He can now take on new challenges. If he is diligent then he will be able to perform well with the new team.

Galatasaray will face at Pardubice at tonight. Galatasaray's starting XI against Pardubice: Okan, Omar, Nelsson, Emin, Kazımcan, Berkan, Cicaldau, Morutan, Barış, Emre K, Oğulcan. SUBS: Berk, Ömer, Ali, Emin, Metehan, Taylan, Hamza, Emre A., Aytaç, Baran, Gomis, Beknaz, Eren. Galatasaray's next match will be played on Wednesday, July 24. I am most curious about the performance of young players today like Ali Turap, Baran, Emin Bayram and Hamza Akman.
It is nice to see Elabdellaoui performing again. Looks like your comment hit Galatasaray badly (lol). Emin Bayram was injured in the match. I hope it will not be something terrible as Galatasaray may need him in defence after Marcao left the team. Ali Turap Bülbül is in bench I think he may be used in second half. I am still surprised to see Ömer Bayram in team. I feel like he should leave team to be replaced by far better left back. But this is my own idea, IDK what club plans.

Maybe my comment is cursed. I hope ıt's not a permanent injury. I guess Emin Bayram will be a good football player. Ali Turap Bülbül was used in second half.  And I liked Ali Turap Bülbül's performance. Hamza Akman became my favorite young player in friendly matches. I guess he will high-flyer at future.

Today Fenerbahçe having their first test of new season with match against Dyn. Kyiv (UKR) in second qualifying round, which was played at Stadion Miejski al. Unii Lubelskiej Lodz (POL) due to Russia, Ukraine conflict in this match Fenerbahçe was surely in good command even they fail to have lead because they still need good finisher for big matches without this they can suffer but still this was good match for them because they were able to hold them with the score of 0 - 0 and now on 27th July they are going to face them again in Turkey here they have good chance for qualifying into next qualifying round and with match against Sturm Gurz which is already in semifinal of this qualifying round and winner will be in final of this qualifying round.

Galatasaray can't even win in the friendly matches, I don't know how they make a start in the league, there was a possibility of relegation last year. If this is the case this year, I don't think it will be any different from last season. Anyway, I don't have any hope for Galatasaray, when I watch the friendly matches this year, I can say that my hope is completely gone.
Maybe you might turn out to be right about this after the season starts but I still think it is very early to make clear predictions about any team. I think friendlies don't show the real strength of a team much. We should be patient until the season starts officially to see the things changed. However it is the truth now that Galatasaray need more transfers to reach their goals. The current quality of the squad is still weak.
Agree with you about this all because few peoples predicting too early right now clubs are working on transfers and trying to settle system which will help them in regular season because it's not easy to play with new players and bringing quick results right now they can start to understand each other which will bring some good coordination between players and this could be good for every team in early part of the new season.

Galatasaray is having miserable season, and now they are working on better testimonial which will help them for next season even competition is not easy but still we can expect some good fight and challenge for top ranked teams in Turkish League because they have ability to fight back at any time of season so losing friendlies are not having any serious impact on any team.

It is too early to talk about Galatasaray and its striker problems considering the fact that they didn't complete/end their transfers yet. Surprisingly they sent Mostafa Mohamed to French league, and got good striker like Haris Seferovic. Now it is rumored Galatasaray may get one more offensive player Marko Arnautovic. These are all good compared to last season, I think having experienced strikers who played in European leagues are better choice for Turkish teams.

Mehmet Topal, the first and only Turkish football player who won the championship in Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Medipol Basaksehir and became the champion with 3 different teams in the same league, announced that he quit football at the age of 36. I think he spent the best period of his career in Fenerbahce. He had the impression of coordinating his team on the field. He played an important role in his team's attack with effective passes. He was also a successful player defensively. I think he will continue his career by coaching.

He was a good football player who has been in our league for many years, very successful in his youth and had the opportunity to play for Valencia as well.
We have even heard rumors that he will be transferred to Atletico Madrid and Manchester City. But he continued to play in Fenerbahçe.
He ended a career full of 20 years of success, maybe we'll meet as a coach in the coming years Smiley

He was very good central midfielder at once in his career for sure. I remember there were zero players like him so he was playing for national team as necessary midfielder. Also I can't remember when Fatih Terim was using him as defender lol. His offense was his weakness I believe he was %90 defensive central midfielder. His feet were not very talented with creative way of footall but his physics were really cool, he was closing down opponent efficiently.

Hmm actually not a bad idea. He made me feel he was not lacking in skills but mentality. Probably him making career leap didn't affect him well. If he plays in some random Anatolian club he will return back to Galatasaray like ICE. (I mean his nerves will evolve). Arda Turan did something similar back in time before going to Barcelona, he went to Manisa. It worked him well in those days. Morutan is talented guy he can return back in far better shape next year.

There were high hopes when he was transferred but he never played well. Now he goes to Anatolian clubs on loan. Galatasaray had paid a serious transfer fee. All the Romanian transfers they made last year turned out to be bad. Managers won, team lost. Now they are trying to dispose of these players. This year they are taking a different path.
If they play well in their clubs on loan, Galatasaray can sell them at the end of next season and earn money. I don't think they'll ever be on the roster here again.
You might be right yeah I think. I personally dislike transfer made from Eastern European teams. Their players don't seem to be attracted to career football. South Americans live with football in contrast. Some random Brazilian talent can become far better experiencing Europe. But players from Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia etc. they really can't keep up with hard work which is needed to become one of the best players in the world through their adventure.

I think one of the reasons why Morutan is on loan to Sivas is so that he can gain experience at his age. At the age of 21, Haaland is smashing the German league and goes to City for a record price. On the other hand, if Diagne is not injured, I strongly believe that he will pass the 20 goal threshold with ease in Karagumruk, but doesn't that mean Diagne is a Galatasaray-level ball player, it's right to go, a team that plays for the championship cannot tolerate the failures of such a breakdown.

I think there are many cases of talented players but are late bloomers they need sometime so they can prove themselves but one thing for sure is that the loan for sivas is the right call sincemoritan will have more time to play and at the end of the season he might became one of his team important players.
