Olimpiu Morutan is a very skilled winger actually. Galatasaray don't have any reliable right winger in the team expect Morutan now. In this case I don't think that it is good for them to loan him to a team now. He is very young indeed but he can still improve his game by playing for Galatasaray. But it is Galatasaray's choice in the end and maybe they are thinking of making a new right winger transfer. They need to strengthen the squad much more too. As far as I heard Okan Buruk also said that they needed more transfers.

I think one of the reasons why Morutan is on loan to Sivas is so that he can gain experience at his age. At the age of 21, Haaland is smashing the German league and goes to City for a record price. On the other hand, if Diagne is not injured, I strongly believe that he will pass the 20 goal threshold with ease in Karagumruk, but doesn't that mean Diagne is a Galatasaray-level ball player, it's right to go, a team that plays for the championship cannot tolerate the failures of such a breakdown.

It was a positive friendly match played between Galatasaray and Sigma Olomouc two days ago. Friendlies matter in the sense that you start to see which players are ready and what type of tactic the team will play. Yunus Akgün scored one goal and one assist. Also Okan Buruk gave chance Alexandru Cicaldau at defensive midfield position as a regista.

Beşiktaş announced that Josef de Souza will undergo surgery due to a knee injury. It is been said that Josef de Souza felt pain in his right knee, and a lateral meniscus tear was detected in the MR imaging of the right knee, and conservative treatment was started. But this treatment was not responding well and it was decided to perform meniscus surgery. As far as I know he had this problem for a long time. He made an instagram post about it too. It seems like he will miss 3-5 months. He should have had this surgery at the end of the season then. Even before the games ended. The season was lost anyway. It is bad news for Besiktas. They will miss his presence on the court.

Napoli are trying to interfere with the deal between Fenerbahce and Rennes for Kim Min-jae now. I have heard that they have already made their offer like 20 million euros by cash. It started to seem like he will join Napoli rather than Rennes as Rennes offered a lower amount and not by cash if I'm not mistaken. Napoli have sold Kalidou Koulibaly as you know and they want to bring Kim Min-jae to fill the space in their defense. I wonder if Fenerbahce will make a move for a centre-back as well.

Hmm actually not a bad idea. He made me feel he was not lacking in skills but mentality. Probably him making career leap didn't affect him well. If he plays in some random Anatolian club he will return back to Galatasaray like ICE. (I mean his nerves will evolve). Arda Turan did something similar back in time before going to Barcelona, he went to Manisa. It worked him well in those days. Morutan is talented guy he can return back in far better shape next year.

There were high hopes when he was transferred but he never played well. Now he goes to Anatolian clubs on loan. Galatasaray had paid a serious transfer fee. All the Romanian transfers they made last year turned out to be bad. Managers won, team lost. Now they are trying to dispose of these players. This year they are taking a different path.
If they play well in their clubs on loan, Galatasaray can sell them at the end of next season and earn money. I don't think they'll ever be on the roster here again.

Galatasaray are sending Olimpiu Moruţan to Sivasspor for one year. We transferred him last year with high hopes. But Moruţan fell short of what was expected of him. He will have the opportunity to play more in Sivasspor. I hope that he will get used to our League and come back to Galatasaray stronger. I have confidence in his abilities. But he needs to play more to improve his performance.

They will also probably have Champions League or Uefa games, always makes it harder for teams to be in the league race.

I'm also very curious about what they will do in the Champions League. You know, Abdullah Avcı is known for playing the European matches with the substitute squad in the clubs he previously coached. Here, too, he can do something similar when they have no claim left in the group. Of course, they have to pass the play-off round first.
With the current squad structure, I don't think Trabzonspor has much chance. This year will be much more difficult. They didn't strengthen the squad enough. There is also a saturation in the players, they are no longer hungry for success as last season.

I think Fenerbahce is doing great so far and it won't be easy for Trabzonspor to repeat the success of last year.

It's almost impossible to do the double for Trabzonspor. I don't even think their fans would believe this. This season will be more competitive and big three will come back.
Fenerbahçe always make big moves in transfer windows but we don't see effective game in the pitch. Now they are constantly buying players of same area and don't build up a good defense. That will be a big problem for them. Too many forwards and attacking midfielders but not enough solid defenders cause problems.
Yes and also they are losing the Korean defender Kim Min Jae, in my opinion, he was the most solid player for them last season. I guess he doesn't want to stay at Fenerbahce when he has chance to go european teams. But it is a very very big loss for Fenerbahce.

I also agree with the other point, it is very very unlikely that Trabzonspor will have title again this season. As you have said big three is coming stronger and more eager than ever. Without immense political help, I don't think Trabzonspor will be on the top of the league. They will also probably have Champions League or Uefa games, always makes it harder for teams to be in the league race.

Fenerbahce will have a very good offensive line if they sign Plea and Pedro. Plea, King and Pedro. Just like the old time trio of webo, sow and emenike. Obviously such an offensive line will be top level for Fenerbahçe. I think it will become a heavy favorite in the league. I think these footballers will be on the rise with Jesus. Another midfield transfer could be coming. It's all mixed news. We don't know which one we can trust and which one we can't. The media is a bit confusing.

It's like an inverse comparison between Konyaspor and Galatasaray because it's like they swapped to be in the middle board and the top in position Grin
But this was a pretty good surprise and if you look at the last few seasons the top 3 teams have always been different because in the 19/20 season there were Istanbul BB, Trabzonspor and Besiktas. 20/21 Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbache and this season Trabzonspor, Fenerbache and Konyaspor.
They always change with surprises every year and this is what makes it fun.

That shows how competitive the league is and how close the teams are, it used to be big three (sometimes big four) and others, now everybody can beat each other.
Konyaspr made good investments lately and they have a big stadium, they always play with high number of fans. You can see the advantage of home games. They are mentally ready for higher places so if these game plan and investments go on we can see them here permanently.

Last season we saw Trabzonspor who won the Turkish league, I was personally quite surprised to see their achievement because in the previous season they could only be in 4th position in the standings with dominance from Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

But will next season we see teams like Trabzonspor and Konyaspor in the top standings? or even dominance will be regained by Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas. What do you think?

I think Fenerbahce is doing great so far and it won't be easy for Trabzonspor to repeat the success of last year.Well they did a great job last year and won the title after some years from their last title so they made the fans extremely happy.I am waiting to see their performance in the Champions League as that is also an indicator if the team is in top form.I would make a comparison with Sheriff Tiraspol of last year or the year before that in Champions League when they showed great performance in Champions and they are also undisputed Champions in their local league.

If Trabzonspor shows good form in Champions it means they will come motivated also in the Turkish Superleague and will win a lot of games fighting again for the title.
Trabzon made some money off last year, and they are spending that to get better, which is always a good proof that they want to repeat what happened last year. Some teams sell half of the roster when they become a champion, in order to profit from the situation, Trabzon went the other way hence why I think they should be fine. However, Fener added even more players that should be great for them.

It's going to be a troubling thing for a while, they need to get used to each other first. Based on what I have seen from Galatasaray today though? One thing is for sure, they are not going to be the champions, it would be a miracle if they even get to any European competition levels, so top 6-7 is out for them again I believe.

Trabzonspor are a team with a strong history and a football city. The city of Trabzon is full of people who are passionate about their team. At the same time, these passionate people do not leave their teams alone in away matches. Sometimes, the pressure of the fans can even be a matter of complaint for the football players of Trabzonspor. So, the city is a driving force for the team. Also, their coach is Abdullah Avci, one of the best coaches in Turkey. He is a coach who emphasizes team play instead of star football players.

Konyaspor have come to the forefront by making very successful transfers in recent years. They also have strong supporters. Their stadiums are full at every match. They always support their team. But they don't have as strong roots as Trabzonspor. After a few years, they may struggle not to relegate to a lower league.

The championship race in Türkiye is always between Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. Every now and then other teams make good use of opportunities and win championships. That is all. In fact, such hegemonies exist in all football leagues in the world...

We do not yet know how well the teams are preparing for the new season, I do not think that teams like Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are very ready. When the league starts, Anatolian teams can be at the top in the first weeks, and they start to lose points as time goes on. We may see something similar this year.

Last season, the teams were very bad, although they had good players, they could not perform well in the league.
Therefore, teams such as Trabzonspor and Konyaspor were able to easily take their place in the top ranks. We will probably see the same thing again in the first weeks of the league Smiley

Friendlies matter in the sense that you start to see which players are ready and what type of tactic the team will play. If the team is playing a good flow game then it will work, if the team doesn't play like that and there is this a ton of "stuck" action where they just pass pass pass pass and do absolutely nothing else, then it will usually end up with nothing during the season as well.

It looks like they did both, they had some good flows time to time, and they had stuck periods time to time as well. Let's see what will happen but I am guessing that it's not going to be an easy season for them. Fener looks a lot more easy right now, they are really playing a very talented roster and they are not even done yet.
