Beşiktaş sent away Domagoj Vida. I think he was not bad player though Turkish teams love to renew many positions starting with strikers and defenders so he became one of losers in this transfer window. So I think stopper/defenders will be Romain Saiss (new transfer) and Welinton. I think it seems ok for a start. I cannot wait to see whole new Beşiktaş next week. Weghorst may surprise me and many people even in his first match. He is the most valuable new player in the league right now.

Galatasaray will face at Salernitana at tonight. Galatasaray's starting XI against Pardubice: Okan, Dubois, Metehan, Abdülkerim, Kazımcan, Taylan, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Cicaldau, Oğulcan, Emre Kılınç, Seferovic. SUBS: Berk, Jankat, Omar, Ömer, Nelsson, Luyindama, Ali Turap, Moruţan, Berkan, Beknaz, Baran, Hamza, Efe, Gomis. Galatasaray next match will be played on Sunday July 31 with Fiorentina. I am not curious about the performance of young players this time. Because my comment hit Galatasaray badly last match and Emin Bayram was injured.

Am going to give Salernitana a win in this match because Galatasaray's last performance was poor. Galatasaray's starting Xl is ok but they still lack that killer pass in the finishing touches, I expected Gala's coach  to get more players to the squad now that the transfer window is still open and he has more reason to do so now that Emin is sidelined due to an injury.

Salernitana is a very difficult team to play against despite that it's a friendly game so we expect Galatasary to improve in tonight's game against Salernitana before preparing to play against Fiorentina in their next game on Sunday the 31st of July.

Seferovic scored 1 goal at the match yesterday. The match ended at 1-1 draw. Two matches ago, Emin Bayram was injured and I was very sad for him. But there was an opportunity for Metehan and he was playing well. I liked Hamza Akman's performance again yesterday. Also Özgür Baran Aksaka should be given more opportunities by coach.

Fenerbahçe has the potential of becoming one of the best teams in Europe. They have a good coaching crew and some of the best players in the Turkish League. In that match against the Ukrainian Dynamo Kyiv they were the better side in all ramification but good performance cannot win matches, they need to score goals to win. Fenerbahçe had more goal scoring opportunities but they failed to utilize, including missing a penalty. They need sharp strikers that can do the clinical finishing. They might not have the financial strength to sign top class strikers, but they can get affordable players from Africa or other cheaper league that would give the attack more vigor and strength.

I call you dreaming. Although Fenerbahçe has transferred so many forwards, they don't have a clear striker. No one on the team can score. The goal was again scored by Attila Szalai from the defense. What do these forwards do? What did King and Valencia play in this match? Fenerbahçe cannot achieve any success in this way. Serdar Dursun is a complete fail. Emre Mor is disappointed.
Now they have Luan Peres. Can he fill the gap on defense? He played only one season in Marseille. Is he as good a defender as Kim Min-Jae? There is a lot of uncertainty.

After this defeat now it's time to learn from mistakes and have quality strikers which give them some good number of goals on crucial stages otherwise they are not going to have any better chance even after first leg I was feeling they can do positive in second leg but sadly lack of quality strikers having big trouble for them.

With good coach and affordable environment they are good but still few more changes can give them better results in European competitions where quality is going to be very important for them if they want to have better results right now it's not looking good for them. Early exit is surely going to be painful but as I mention still have time for bringing quality player can give them better results in coming matches.

Before the Turkish Super League started, i watched Fenerbahce's UEFA Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round 2nd leg match. Fenerbahce had the upper hand throughout the match. They had a lot of scoring chances and this superiority continued until the last minute of the match. I appreciate it. However, as I said before, if Fenerbahce does not transfer a strong striker or finishing striker, they may miss the championship in the league. Despite the superiority of the match, they could not reach the result. There were almost no players in the offensive zone. If Fenerbahce continues like this, they will not be champions in the league.

One week left until the start of the league. The league starts next weekend. Teams are still playing friendly matches, but I don't see a team that is ready. Again, we can see surprising results in the first weeks of the league. You have to bet accordingly. There will be weeks where the favorites lose points. It's very difficult to predict which Anatolian club will make a good start this year. But every year a club makes such a successful debut. There are too many İstanbul clubs in the league this season. It means less travel for teams in that region. Players will be less tired, sometimes staying at home before away games. Instead of camping, this type will have advantages. It's debatable whether this will contribute in the field though.
It is actually good for players to have more teams based in İstanbul considering they will have far less travel and their mental problems because of climate may be easily solved. I also don't think teams are ready for start of league. Early August for a start of Turkish league is too early in my opinion. Weather is too hot to perform good right now. They should have start league at least 2-3 weeks later than next week.
I would guess that less travel would be better, but worse pitch conditions means that we are talking about teams that are doing worse or have a lot less money could get used to playing on those conditions and that would mean that those teams would play against bigger clubs better.

Let's say you have a stadium in a very very high ground, the air is thinner there, bigger clubs wouldn't be used to it and have hard time breathing and get tired easier, so if you spend 20+ million euros on a club, vs 2, the difference will come out of that. So, yeah it is much worse for the clubs in Istanbul to travel, but it's better for the lower clubs in worse condition places to travel to Istanbul at least.

Fenerbahçe sold Kim Min-Jae to Napoli for 18 million Euro, this is one of the highest paid transfers Turkish league ever sees. Normally they don't want to sell him but apparently there was a release clause and Napoli used it. That means Fenerbahçe had no right to negotiate. Fenerbahçe bought him only for 3 million Euro and made 15 mill in a year. That was a great investment. Now Fenerbahçe need to find another stopper, they have the resources but it's hard to find a player as same level with him.

^^ I mean obviously he is a good enough striker, there is no doubt about that, in fact "most" transfers are always good on paper, rarely there are a few that is done obviously by agents strong arming teams. In this case, it is really good transfer. However, what we are missing is the point where players end up not playing as well as he normally could. Like if we are going to talk about Galatasaray and strikers, do you really think that Falcao was a bad one?

Now, we can say it was a bad one, but at the time he was a striker that would have been insanely good but then he just acted injured for seasons. This is why I think we should hold off until a player proves himself to be good.

The real problem is Quaresma, Drogba, Falcao or Gomis before falcao, the problem is not the performance of the players or the success or fame of their coach. It is a fact that the logic of football and the importance given to football are not enough. Turkish society is a society that loves football, but ironically they are more successful in sports other than football, today real madrid is good in football. It has proven itself in other sports as well. However, fenerbahçe galatasaray beşiktaş teams, which only exist in football with their past, do not have that much appeal today. but they're pretty good at basketball, they're pretty good at volleyball too,

Good transfers were made in the new season, let's see what we will see this season. I wish that the importance given to football will increase sufficiently and that they will see the necessary material and moral value as soon as possible.

We are quite close to the beginning of the season now. For now my biggest favourite teams for the title are Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor. The reason why I include Fenerbahce in this is that I expect Jorge Jesus to do a good work with the team. They have already made a nice start against Dynamo Kiev even though the match ended up with a 0-0 draw. When it comes to Trabzonspor they are already the last champions in the league so the expectations from them will be big again.
Both teams are doing good, specially Fenerbahçe because they are going to play their second leg game against Dyn. Kyiv with first was ended in a 0 - 0 draw, a good opportunity for them to have their spot into group stage of Champions League. I am expecting good result from them in this tomorrow game with most chances they will advance into next round where they are going to play against Sturm Graz but win is must for them in tomorrow game if they want to be against this team.

Their form is good, and now they are also having few good players those can give them success and with this they have some good hopes for staying into Champions League hunt.

Kim Min Jae went to in Italy for Napoli FC. I guess Pelkas went to in England for Hull City. Fenerbahce earned good money from these players. Hull City transferred 3 players from Fenerbahçe this season. Gustavo Henrique came to in Istanbul for Fenerbahçe.

The days of Turkish league being high up the ladder is gone because of Turkish economy and that is connected to each other. When one euro equalled to 3-5 lira, that was something doable, and yes it was still hard but at the very least we are talking about something that is possible and affordable. When it became close to 1 to 20 ratio, that became a bit harder and now the teams can't afford it too much.

Of course, now they are finding players to sell for 20 million which is a record, and that means nearly 400 million for them, and that makes sense, but it still takes a while before they could get good players, need a few sales like that to make sure they could get those players.

I think too that the biggest derby match of this league is Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray as well. It is a very good match for the broadcaster, also extra income for the teams and a good excitement for the fans. Both teams are not ready for the new season yet, but if there is a match, it will be very exciting.
I am also waiting to watch this derby. Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are among the strongest teams in the Super League. However, Galatasaray's performance in the last season was very poor. And if they can't stabilize themselves this season, they will surely lose against Fenerbahce. But the match between these two teams in Super Lig is always exciting.
Right now, it's much-needed publicity for Turkish League because this will bring positive image of this league and peoples will have better understanding about them even I am feeling they need to do this on yearly basis with top four clubs go and play in few countries maybe in early times have some issues or not good response but surely in future this can bring good image and better results for Turkish League which will help them to have more market and players from different countries.

In recent years, they are on decline in quality which is going to be bad for them, hopefully with this they will have better and quality players and positive results in UEFA which will help them for having more revenue.

Unfortunately, our league does not have a good quality. Also Fener and GS are not the strongest anymore. But Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are among the strongest teams in the Super League. I agree with your argument. So it's much-needed publicity for Turkish League.
I remember when Turkish league was among the top 5 to 7 most expensive leagues in Europe. It was time when every big club made significant transfers like Drogba etc. With massive economic crisis Turks lost purchasing power, it directly affected clubs as well. In other words its normal Turkish league lost a lot of interest, Turkish league became something similar to eastern European leagues in terms of quality. Mediocre.

The last champiyon of the super league Trabzonspor , played a friendly match with Empoli today. Empoli managed to score a goal from the ball that bounced off the corner kick very early. With this goal, there was no other goal in this match. Empoli won the match 1-0. In my opinion, Trabzonspor was more effective and dominant throughout the match, and they had accurate shots to the goal, but they had no chance to score any goals.

Abdullah Avcı wants five transfers. If even the coach of the champion team doesn't like the squad he has, then there is a problem. It was not surprising that they lost their friendlies.
He wants right center back, midfielder, winger, backup goalkeeper and another forward.
After making so many transfers, it will be necessary to rebuild the squad. They are not ready for European matches at all. I hope they don't disgrace the country any more. The UEFA coefficient score decreased because same manager didn't give importance to European matches in the teams he coached before.
While Abdullah Avcı was the Beşiktaş coach, there were unsuccessful matches in Europe, but I would like to think that he learned a lesson from this. Many of his players will be missing. They will lose players because they are champions, and that's what happened. That's why he asked for reinforcements to the missing areas, I hope they can stay in the groups in the champions league. For the country score, they must be successful.
